Introduction
A sequel to His Booty Call.
Chapter 1
Five years ago.
"Anything else ma'am?" The waitress asks.
I shake my head, I'm okay." She tucks her pen behind her ear and walks away. She is pretty, brown wavy hair and cat eyes
I silently watch her walk to the table that hosts my target. She halts and poses uncomfortably. The three boys break into a laughter. Quinn's hand moves up the waitress uniform and pinches her ass. I am disgusted! She is disgusted by him too. Quinn and the other guy exchange words and he smirks as the waitress takes a step back. The quite guy in the group looks up to the waitress and says something to her and her poise eases. By following Quinn around, I assume he is his best friend. They spend a lot of time together. Andre confirmed his name is Ryan, the only thing that makes Quinn look good.
To the waitress relieve she manages to get away from the awful privilege creatures that think they can have anything or anyone and the world revolves around them. I hate them! I despise them and everything they represent. They are takers, they take and, take! without a care of who they hurt in the process. I will make sure the table will turn, The Nickels will have their share of it. I will take something they value like they did to me.
My phone vibrates, it is Oliver. I am supposed to pick him from school. High school has not been easy for him with the bullies everywhere. His text reminds me of the pain of never going to high school. I dropped out to take care of Oliver and I. A sacrifice worth. In the end I did end up taking up adult classes for my high school certificate.
I can't hear what they are talking about, they are several tables away. I decide to pretend to walk to the wash room, when I walk out I walk to the booth next the group with my coffee. They are immersed into their talks to notice me.
"Heard Courtney is back." Ryan says and for a moment his eyes find mine.
"How long has it been?" The other guy asks.
"Ten years." Quinn answers.
"She is back for good, she will start college with us." Ryan says.
"Have you decide which college you will be joining, Lee?" Quinn asks.
Ah, the third guy is Lee.
"Primeton University, I have decide to join you pussies." Lee says.
"The only pussy here is you." Quinn teases.
"I am not." Lee hisses back.
"I dare you to bang that hot waitress." Quinn dares him. "A grand says you can't."
I can't hate him more. He is trash.
"Nah." Lee says.
"Think of what a grand is worth. You can get you your next fix." Quinn tries to persuade him.
So Lee does drugs.
"Think of also those sweet tits it can buy at XXX Chix too." Quinn adds.
At the mention of XXX Chix, I remember i am supposed to be there in the next hour and also pick my brother. I take a sip of my coffee as I pack my stuff.
My coffee is still hot, I push my glasses back and slightly brush my nose. I am unrecognizable. Thick rimmed glasses and a hat. I spit into my coffee and stand. I tip the waitress and walk towards Quinn's table. He looks up our eyes lock but he loses interest immediately and goes back to his conversation. My fingers tightly secure the cup. My heart palpating, adrenaline gushing through my vein. The hate I hold for him and his family is out of this world.
I stop in front of him, before he even looks up I pour the contents in my cup on his head.
"What the fuck!" Quinn bolts up.
"Next time you feel the urge to stick your filthy hand up someone's ass without consent, that will make you think twice." I state and in that commotion I slip his phone that is on the table into my bag and begin to walk away, his friends dying in laughter.
I drive as soon as I get into my car and before Quinn can call the cops on me. I find Oliver on the school parking lot, as I get closer I realize his t-shirt is torn.
"What happened?" I ask immediately.
"I fought." He says.
"Did you win?" I ask.
He nods and I smile.
"I have great news" I say to him.
He looks at me, eyes full of expectation and excitement. It makes me feel invincible. Powerful that someone looks up to me. "What?"
"I am going to the university, Primeton University."
Present day
I can't feel my hands, the cuffs cut deeper into my skin every time I writhe. I shake my head, my world is dark. The blindfolds are tied tightly making my head ache. The room is cold, silent and smells of ammonia. My attackers dumped me here on arrival. I don't know where I am but i am sure it is way too far from the city. The drive lasted a while.
I started this war with a mission, so far I have been the one on the receiving end of it. Never winning. One step forward, two steps back.
Heavy footsteps walk in. They produce a squeaky sound. The floor must be wooden. I can tell by the sweaty smell that the owner is right in front of me. His breath is uncoordinated and it smells of liquor. I feel his hands work at the back of my head until i am free from the blindfold. My eyes automatically adjust to my dark surrounding.
"I personally told Quinn, someday he will blink and he will not have his eyes on you. And when he does I will strike." A husky voice states. His face is not visible just parts of it, I can only see his dreadlocks dangling on his shoulders. This are the guys Quinn was trying to keep me safe from. "Let's see how much you matter to him."
I scoff. Joke on him because i am sure Quinn could care less on what happens to me. I can bet he is now banging the next pretty thing that allows him the pleasure.
The deadlock guy, dials his phone. He puts it on loud speaker and allows it to ring. After the third ring Quinn's voice comes through. He is panting, I was right.
"What!" He asks irritated.
"I have a surprise for you."
"I have a surprise for you too, I don't care for surprises." He answers.
"Oh, this one you will care." My kidnapper punches me in the stomach and i cry in pain. I hear shuffling on the other end of the phone. A dreadful stretched silence follows and I clutch to my dear stomach.
"Kill her for all I care." Finally Quinn speaks and hangs up.

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
