Introduction
Or at least, that’s what she tells herself. Because deep down, she has always believed she would never be enough to be chosen.
Then Alan moves in next door. Raised by a single mother, Alan has spent his life earning everything the hard way. He has ambition, discipline, and a future built with his own hands.
But there’s one thing he’s never had…a real childhood... and someone who stays. And when he sees Millie, surrounded by laughter and warmth, he knows he’s found what he’s been missing.
He doesn’t just want to be part of her world. He wants her. Slowly, patiently, he begins to break through her walls.
For the first time, Millie feels something unfamiliar, something terrifying—Love.
But just when she starts to explore these newly felt feelings, everything changes.
Daxton, her protector, her closest friend, the one who has always stood by her, confesses his deep-seated feelings for her.
Now Millie stands at a crossroads she was never prepared for.
The boy who feels like home…Or the one who makes her want more.
Chapter 1
Millie's POV.
"Oh, girl… get ready to lose this challenge and do whatever I say." Sammy, my bestie, said, rolling up his sleeves like he was about to fight a war instead of pulling out a stupid Jenga block.
I blew him a kiss. "In your dreams, sweetheart."
He shot me a grin, his dimple making its usual appearance. Slowly, carefully, he slid the block out. The tower didn't fall.
"YES!" he shouted, immediately breaking into the most ridiculous floss dance I had ever seen.
I groaned, dropping my head back. "Stop dancing, you dork."
It was then my turn. I stared at the Jenga tower as if it had personally offended me. One wrong move, and it was over.
And if I lost… I'd have to go on a date. With someone Sammy picks.
“Not possible… I’m Milie," I reminded myself. "Boys? Hard pass."
"Why don't you just accept defeat, Milie darling?" Sammy dropped down in front of me, wiggling his eyebrows as if he'd already won.
"Why would she?" Daxton, my other bestie, cut in, calm as always. "She's got this. Come on, Milie." I glanced at him. Daxton was different… quiet and shy, exactly the opposite of Sammy.
He was the kind of person who didn't need to be loud to be noticed.
"See?" Sammy groaned. "This is what I mean! I always come second. For her—and for you."
"Oh my God, stop being dramatic and watch me win." We were sprawled across my patio floor, the evening air warm, the smell of food drifting from inside.
I lay flat on my stomach, chin resting on my hands, eyes locked on the tower.
Sammy leaned in. "You know if you lose, I'm picking someone tall. Maybe a little—"
Daxton elbowed him. "Shut up."
I ignored him and just focused on the third row from the bottom. I tapped my index finger against the block. It shifted slightly.
"You've got this, Millie." I motivated myself, and confidence pumped inside me.
Slowly, I pushed it out further, my heartbeat syncing with the tiny movement. Almost there when—
"Kids, your pizza's here!" My Mom appeared all of a sudden, flinching me, and the tower collapsed before I could even blink.
"Oh, fuck!"
"AUNTY, PERFECT TIMING!" Sammy yelled, jumping up like he had won a championship. He ran straight to my Mom, hugging her before breaking into that stupid floss again.
"Finally! This brat is under my control!"
"Mom!" I snapped, scrambling up. "Was the pizza going to run away or something?!"
I lunged at Sammy, trying to stop him, but he grabbed my hands and dragged me into his dance instead.
"This doesn't count!" I protested. "Daxton, tell him—it’s unfair!"
But before Daxton could say anything, someone laughed, not a small laugh, but an unfiltered, I-ca n't-help-it kind of laugh.
We all turned to the voice. A tall, dark, handsome guy stood a few steps away, laughing as if he'd witnessed the best thing of his life.
Then he realised we were staring, and his chuckle immediately turned into a nervous smile.
"Uh—sorry," he said, raising his hands slightly. "I just… couldn't stop."
"You're Alan, right? Our new neighbour?" Mom jumped in, suddenly way too excited.
He blinked. "Yeah… I am. But—how do you—"
"I met your mom yesterday," she said quickly. "We got talking about families."
"Oh." He nodded, still a little confused. "Okay."
And then, my Mom grabbed me and pulled me away from Daxton.
"Mom—what are you doing?" I hissed. She ignored me completely.
"Alan, this is my daughter, Milie," she said, smiling like she was introducing me as a prospect. "And these two are like her brothers–Daxton and Sammy. They've been together since kindergarten."
Alan greeted everyone warmly. Sammy returned the smile. But me? I was fuming.
She pulled me away from Daxton. She called them my brothers. She might as well have announced to the world: I'm single.
When Alan's gaze shifted to me, I didn't smile, didn't nod, didn't even pretend. I just rolled my eyes and turned away deliberately. It was time for revenge.
"Come on, Daxton," I said, grabbing his arm. "Let's go inside. I'm starving. I need that pizza."
As I turned to the door, I gave him the fakest smile possible.
"If you like games, you can join them anytime," Mom added behind me. I stopped and turned.
"Oh no," I said sweetly. "We're not playing here anymore." Then I looked straight at him. "Maybe find someone else."
He froze. For a moment, I almost regretted it, but I pushed past it. This was not about him, but teaching my Mom a lesson.
I walked away. Daxton followed, mirroring my attitude with a quiet coldness. Behind us, I could hear my Mom scrambling to fix things.
"I'm so sorry. When she’s hungry, she just talks nonsense. She didn't mean it, right, Sammy?"
"Yes, yes, dude… don't mind her," Sammy added quickly. "She's completely unfiltered."
"Don't worry," Alan said calmly, too calmly. Something in his tone made me pause. "I have no shortage of friends."
I turned. Our eyes met, and I could clearly see his ego was bruised.
"Anyway, I should get going," he added, already stepping back, his eyes hooked on me, making something unsettled in my heart.
A second later, the front door slammed, and my Mom walked in. Her teeth gritted, nostrils flared up, looking daggers at me.
"Oh, god, please spare me another argument."

“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”

The flowers beneath my mother's window turned black overnight. The herbs I gathered at dawn rotted in my hands. When the court wizard finally told me the truth—that someone cursed me, that my presence would kill everyone I love—I realized the prophecy everyone believed was never meant to save the kingdom. It was meant to destroy me.
So I ran. Not to fulfill some destiny, but to survive it.
Now I'm traveling with a hunter who lost his companions to the same curse I carry, chasing fragments of a prophecy the Fae sing differently. An elf took a baby from the palace the night I was born. And somewhere between the lies I've been told and the truth I'm hunting, I'm starting to suspect: What if I'm not the princess from the prophecy at all?
Ruined : You will always be mine.
“Fuckkk”, I couldn’t help but scream.
“You need to learn to be obedient” he said as he kept thrusting into me. When I felt his hands on my clit my body shook.
“Asher please, it’s too much”.
“No. if I really wanted to punish you, I would give you all of me”, he said against my ears and my entire body froze. Suddenly he moved and I was standing again. This man was insane.
I felt him behind me. “Ten Lashes for your disobedience”, he said
“Asher please”,
“No”. His voice was cold and void of any emotion.
Asher was what I wanted , what I truly craved until it was too late. An orphan should never fall in love with someone out of their reach. COLD (Ruthless Player)
“Please… Nick, wait.” He pulled out, thrusted back in. “How much? Twenty thousand? Fifty? Hundred?” With every question, he thrust harder and harder. My neurons are frying with the confusing feeling in my brain. Torn between pleasure, fear, and panic. I couldn't utter a single sentence to save my life.
His cold eyes pinned me in place while he plundered my body with deep thrusts, which only added to my confusion. My dumb body mistook the mixed signals, my pussy becoming even wetter than before.
“I hope she'd paid you well, because I'm going to fuck you all night long, hard,” he growled. “Sleep, then do it all over again. I want to feel you come for me, Andrea, want to feel you squeeze my cock, milking me.
Begging for me to give you the high only I can, I'm going to fucked you until I fuck all my wife's money's worth, I want you to remember how hard I took you while you're meeting her.” I sobbed, moaned, and tried to scramble out under him.
“No, please…Nick, let….let me explain.” Nick abruptly pulled out. His eyes were cold but hooded.

I Found the Babies
"When..." He growled in my ear, "When we will be getting married, I will be your only king, do you get my point? Only one queen, no misters or mistresses. Just me, just you, and yeah, our babies."
I shivered.
Alyssa Reynolds found herself in a situation, while returning home from work, and she had three choices:
Simply walk away and forget that you ever heard the sound of wailing infants.
Call the police and inform them about the innocent wails.
Follow the sounds of the wails and take the matter in your hands, deciding what to do later.
Being a kindhearted soul and a sucker for babies, she found herself choosing the third option, finding the two little lives.
Two little lives that changed her whole life, her love life included. Her life now revolved around the babies as diapers, vomit and shit seemed to surround her.
Just when she thought that now it's just her and the babies, her whole world flipped over and she found herself living under the same roof as the egotistical, obnoxious and hot-as-hell Terence Powers, the business tycoon who was not going to let the woman fend off for herself and the babies alone.
