Chapter 1
Calla's Pov
“Calla, raise your head and chest out. You're supposed to act like you belong and not like you're lost.”
I knew I was out of place the second I stepped inside Club Eclipse. Sierra nudged me, tucking away my fake ID. She didn't need a fake ID because she was twenty and I was almost twenty…well nineteen. I'll be twenty in a few hours and I still have not shifted.
Werewolves generally shifted from 16. So I had two things going for me. I was not a real wolf yet and I was ugly.
And Sierra had convinced me to spend it this way. In a club, and not just any club, but at my stepbrother's club, and he hates me.
Her perfume was so strong I almost choked. She wore her mask and handed mine to me. This was a masked party and I was grateful it was.
The loud bass made my heart feel like it was trying to punch its way out through my ribs. Red and green lights sliced across the room and painted everyone in colors.
I wasn't supposed to be here, mostly because my stepbrother, Lucas, whom I've had a crush on since my Mom married his father, was embarrassed to have someone like me as a step sister because I was ugly and I had not become a wolf. For two years we've lived apart, ever since his father was thrown in prison and my mom died.
He lived in the Alpha house as he was the alpha of the Eclipse wolves while I lived alone in my mom's house. Lucas still paid my bills but he never played the family card.
There was a huge black scar on my face that covered one half of my face. In short, I looked hideous and ugly. And people around me never let me forget it. Lucas, my stepbrother too.
The girls here looked like they'd stepped out of a magazine cover. They all had glossy hair and sparkly dresses that were so short I had to hug myself.
My reflection in the mirrored wall behind the bar made me want to bolt out of the bar. I was wearing a baggy gray hoodie, ripped jeans and converse. I looked like someone's awkward little sister who got dragged along. Which technically I was.
“I think this is a bad idea.” I whispered to her as I turned down the sleeves of my hoodie.
“I know, that's why we're here. Think of what would happen if they find out I'm a dragonclaw wolf.” She scanned the crowd for the hottest guy to latch onto.
The dragonclaws and the eclipse wolves weren't friends or cordial. Infact, they didn't see eye to eye. Her body con gown hugged her curvy body and the neckline was practically illegal because it dipped down to the beginning of her cleavage.
She was the reason I was here and this was her brilliant idea of “celebrating my birthday early.” My birthday that I didn’t even want to think about
I was two steps from telling her I’d wait outside when I saw my step brother. Lucas Blackthorn, Alpha of the Eclipse pack and the owner of this club. He was basically the untouchable king around here.
He was leaning against the railing of the VIP section with a mask on his face. His dark hair was pushed back but fell into his face anyway. The sleeves of his black shirt were rolled up with a silver watch on his wrist.
He wasn’t even trying, and still every girl in this place was either looking at him or pretending not to.
I was no less different. I couldn't stop staring. Of course, he almost caught me looking.
Shit.
I pressed my mask to my face as if it would make me invisible.
Sierra elbowed me. “Don’t look at him like that unless you’re ready to out us.” Then she kissed my cheek. “Try not to draw any attention, I'll be back.” And off she went to flirt.
I nodded, but apparently, my face hadn't gotten the memo because my eyes kept going back to him. I tried to distract myself by pretending to care about the glowing drink menu above the bar, but while struggling to sit at the bar, someone hit me and my mask fell off.
“Ooohh, that's Lucas's stepsister. The ugly one who wouldn't shift.” I heard someone whisper behind me.
“And she still hasn’t shifted? Pathetic.”
I hunched further into my hoodie, wishing the floor would open up and eat me whole.
Before I could adjust, a voice filled my ear. I stiffened and cursed under my breath. “Well, well. The charity case finally shows her face.”
Lucas was breathing down my neck and he was too close. His stormy gray eyes looked like he was constantly thinking of twelve different ways to ruin you. And God help me, my heart kicked into overdrive just having him look at me.
“I—what?” I stammered for lack of words.
Lucas dragged his eyes over my body and shook his head. “Oversized hoodie? Are you planning to rob the place or just depress everyone with your fashion choices?”
“I didn’t come here to impress you.” We always did this. Banter.
“Clearly.” his cologne wrapped around me. “If you’re going to sneak into my club, at least try not to look like you crawled out of a donation bin.”
Some people chuckled and others whispered.
Lucas's eyes suddenly went cold. "You've had your fun, so it's time to leave, sister. You're embarrassing me.”
I opened my eyes and shut them back. My eyes stung with tears. Everyone was now looking in my direction. Before I could muster an answer, a hand landed on my shoulder.
“Back off, Lucas.”
I turned around to find Darius, Sierra's older brother and the Alpha of the Dragonclaws. He wasn't supposed to be here in Eclipse territory.
The room shifted instantly. Eclipse wolves growled angrily as they slowly caged us in.
Lucas’s smile vanished. “Well, if it isn’t the Dragon pup sneaking into my club. Why are you here?”
“Or maybe just someone who doesn’t enjoy watching you tear down girls half your size,” Darius answered instead.
I was beginning to get antsy. Things could go bad any minute now. An Eclipse Alpha and a Dragonclaw Alpha in the same room? Bad…bad idea.
I tugged at Darius’s arm. “Please, don’t—”
A drunk sidled up to me and his breath reeked strongly of booze and ignorant of what was going on. “Hey, hoodie girl, do you want to dance with me?” He held my hand.
“I said no—”
Darius moved first, shoving him back so hard he crashed into a table, and glass spilled everywhere. Wolves bared their teeth and tried to rush at him for touching one of their own.
Lucas waved his hand in the air. “You don’t get to throw people around in my club, Dragon.”
“Then keep your guests from touching what isn’t theirs,” Darius shot back.
I looked from one man to the other, not sure what to do. Then the clock struck midnight.
A deep pulse ran through me, knocking the air from my lungs, and my knees gave out.
“What’s…what's happening to me?” I sputtered out, my lungs felt like it was on fire.
And it was like the world stopped and the mate bond slammed into me so hard I forgot how to breathe.

"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
A Lesson in Magic
Claimed by the Alpha's Love
Four years ago, Fiona's meticulously planned conspiracy turned me from an ordinary omega into a prisoner carrying the weight of a murder charge.
Four years later, I return to a world that has changed beyond recognition.
My best friend Fiona, who is also my stepsister, has become the perfect daughter in my mother's eyes. And my ex-boyfriend, Ethan, is about to hold a high-profile mating ceremony with her.
The love, family bonds, and reputation that I once cherished have all been taken by Fiona.
Just when I had reached my breaking point, questioning the very purpose of my existence, the legendary Alpha Lucas of Moonhaven suddenly appeared in my life.
He is powerful and enigmatic, a figure that all werewolves hold in awe.
Yet, he shows an extraordinary persistence and tenderness towards me.
Is Lucas's appearance a gift from fate, or the start of another conspiracy?
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
The mafia princess return
Accidentally Crossing the Tycoon
Four years ago, the Bailey family faced a devastating financial crisis.
Just when bankruptcy seemed inevitable, a mysterious benefactor emerged, offering salvation with one condition: a contract marriage.
Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
