Illicitly Yours, Loving My Stepbrother On Ice
Vividian · Ongoing · 30.8k Words
Introduction
“Now honey, what was that about earlier?” Mom demands after a beat, her voice even. Controlled. Measured. Like she's always been.
I look at her. At her copperry red hair much like my own, conflicted. And my eyes water.
It's about how I can still feel Grayson's touch on my skin mum. How his tongue has done things to me. Things too unholy to describe.
About how the scent of him—the mere thought of him—makes me heady.
And now, you’re marrying his father?
Grayson's bad news for goddess’ sake!
I want to tell her all that, but I don't.
I Can't.
“You didn't even stop to think about it,” I say instead, not liking the crack in my voice at the end.
“Probably because there was nothing to think about,” mother shrugs, frowning in concern. “What is this really about Ginny?”
Ginny. The five letter syllable that somehow sounds so different—sinfully different—when he says it.
“You've been acting weird ever since I mentioned coming back.. Is there something I should know?” she probes.
And then..
Her face grows pale.
Ours is a story that was never meant to be written.
A broken symphony, A perfect imagery with cracks.
He was my living torment, I was his subject. His prey. His Forbidden fruit.
We weren't meant to love. To feel so deeply. To Burn.
But we did anyways.
And the inferno we created?
Blew out of proportion.
Destroying everything we once thought we knew.
Again, we weren't meant to love,
But our story was a destructive force of nature,
Bound by soul-ties that could not be denied.
Chapter 1
Ginger’s POV:
Grayson Blackwood is my soon-to-be stepbrother. Forbidden fruit.
Yet he's had a taste of me.. And I honestly haven't stopped wanting more ever since.
I tried to run away; to ignore the ‘thing’ between us. And for a short while, it worked.
But much like a twisted form of fate, gravity has a way of drawing me right back to him. Sort of like it is now.
Because currently? We're set to return to Darkwater. Per his father's ruling.
Of freaking course.
“I hope that’s everything?” my mother asks, hands cupping her phone as I wrestle the last of my belongings to the living room.
It doesn't take a genius to know Roman Blackwood—our Alpha and her lover—is on the other line.
“Yes Mom,” I reply, loud enough for him to hear. “Though I really don't understand why we have to leave.”
“Darling, we've already gone over this. Your father—”
“Stepfather-to-be.”
“Roman, has sent for us.”
I roll my eyes, feeling a surge of annoyance. “Great. Just what I needed—another reminder of who’s in charge here.”
Mom sighs, cutting the call. “Really?”
“I'm not wrong now am I?” The strap on my duffle bag snaps free and I let out a groan in frustration.
Honestly, when Ignius had suggested the repair visit to Silveridge Pack three moons ago, I had been more than happy to volunteer.
But now that he's asked us to return, I kind of want to strangle him.
“Honey, don't be like that,” she says, “You know he's probably just missing us.”
“Or maybe he just misses having control.”
Her face falls, and I immediately regret saying that last part.
I know I'm being a total bitch to her right now, but I can't help it. It's the only way I can think of to get her to do something about this. To maybe tell me to remain here at Silveridge, where I can be safe. Away from him.
From his touch,
From that fucked up smirk,
And God, those hands..
“Come on.” Mom grabs her suitcase, voice clipped. “Let's load our bags into the trunk.”
I don't argue this time, knowing I've already pushed her enough.
A black Rolls pulls up beside us just as we finish. One I instantly recognize to be Heather Rosewood's; the Luna of Silveridge.
The second the doors open, two identical but stunning brunettes rush out, tackling me into a hug.
“Hey, Hey,” I laugh in spite of my mood, embracing my best friends; Letisha and Kaia Rosewood.
“Heather,” Mother beams, going over to embrace her.
The twins eventually release me from their monster grips.
“Urgh! I wish you didn't have to leave,” Tisha groans.
“Same here,” I respond, already dreading the thought of parting ways with these two.
Goodbyes have never been something I've liked very much.
Not since Dad.
“Make sure you facetime as much as possible,” Kaia says the same time mom calls, “Alright darling, we need to get going.”
“I will,” I tell them, moving towards the backseat when Tisha grasps my arm suddenly.
“And don't forget to give us all the juicy Grayson deets.”
She mutters it so our mothers don't hear, but the damage is done already.
Cheeks flaming, the nerves I had been struggling to suppress all morning come bottoming out.
I may or may not have let my silly… attraction to my potential stepbrother slip during one of our sleepovers. Thankfully they were chill about it. Tisha in particular, found it—in her words—“Hot.”
Not sure our parents would have the same sentiments though.
Mother's voice breaks through again. “Ginger, hurry up!”
“Coming!”
Tisha and Kaia pull me in for one last hug and then I’m hurrying into the SUV. The engine sparks to life as mom puts the car into drive.
I plug in my earbuds and lean against the window, trying to distract myself from thinking, though thoughts of Grayson invade my mind regardless, seeping through every lyric.
Mom catches my eye in the mirror, motioning me to take off my buds. “What's on your mind darling?”
“It's nothing.”
“Well you’ve got that look on your face.”
“What look?”
“The one where your brows are tightly knotted together. It's not nothing.”
I exhale slowly, knowing she's not going to let this go.
“Do you think that…” I trail off, unsure of how to approach this topic, and then shake my head. “Nevermind.”
“For pete’s sake sweetie, I'm not a mind reader,” my mother prods. “Speak, I'm listening.”
“Okay, do you think that maybe…Ignius plans to propose this time around?”
It's been a little over a year since they got together. And with Grayson and his father being less than thirty miles away, I'm guessing this might be the best time to ask.
She glances at me, brows creased, shoulders tense.
“Honestly honey, I don't know.”
I have no idea how long I slept, or even when I did, but Mom shakes me awake. “Wake up. We're home.”
The sun is setting by now, painting the sky in electric shades of golden orange and purple, but I barely notice any of that over the way my stomach twists at the knowledge that we're back in Darkwater.
The Blackwood Mansion looms tall ahead; all modernist-style with stone pillars, vast gardens and a damn water fountain in the midst of it all like we're a normal family.
It's almost suffocating.
“You can leave your luggage behind,” Mom says, heading inside. “The servants will come for it.”
I reluctantly grab my backpack and slip out of the car…only to freeze at the door.
“Okay, Breathe Ginger.”
The knob twists easily. I make a beeline for my room, heaving a sigh in relief when I don't run into Grayson.
I toss my bag onto the bed and step out of my clothes, grabbing some fresh ones on my way to the bathroom. I could kill for a shower right about now.
When I return to the room though, I find…Grayson. Casually leaning against the doorframe.
My heart stops.
He looks exactly as I left him: Messy dark hair falling over his piercing grey eyes, veiny hands folded between his bulging biceps, and that darned black shirt clinging to his body like a second skin.
Except this time he's more guarded.
And for some reason, my chest tightens knowing I'm the cause.
“Look who's back from oblivion,” Grayson taunts, his voice bitter and low yet somehow seductive. “Missed me?”
“You wish,” I retort, voice coming back.
“You sure about that?” Grayson raises a brow, pushing off the door.
He closes the distance between us in three strides, hitting me with his familiar scent as he steps behind me.
“G-Grayson, what are you doing?” I try to turn, but Grayson grabs onto my hips, freezing me in place.
“Shh, princess.” His lips graze my earlobe, and heat coils in my lower region.
The atmosphere around us shifts as I am suddenly made aware of two things; the feel of his skin on mine,
And the fact that I am not wearing a bra.
My ears burn hotter when Grayson's hands sneak under my shirt, teasing me. “Really though… You didn't miss me even a little?”
His warm mouth drops to my neck, kissing it. My breathing slows and my head parts to the side on instinct, granting him further access.
“Grayson..” I whimper, feeling his left wrist snake upward.
Grayson softly kneads my breasts even as his right hand trails between my thighs, sliding dangerously close to my panties. My back arches and I suck in a sharp breath at the sensation, grasping for common sense.
His fingers find my arousal, cupping my center. He growls in approval when he finds me wet and my face instantly flushes.
“Answer me Ginny,” Grayson whispers in my ear, his hand slowly circling my clit.
An embarrassing moan slips past my lips and I shamelessly attempt grinding down on his palm, wanting more friction, but he pinches my nub in warning.
“I…I did,” I gasp out, squirming under his touch.
“Good.” He moves away from me, licking my juice off his fingers, and I nearly whine at the loss of contact. But a knock sounds shortly after, changing my train of thoughts.
My attention shifts to the still-open doorway, and the blood leeches from my face on seeing Roman, Grayson's father and our pack's Alpha standing there.
Roman glances between us, expression unreadable. “You two. Downstairs. Quick.”

Why does being near him make my skin feel too tight, like I’m wearing a sweater two sizes too small?

**
I hate girls like her.
Entitled.
Delicate.
And still—
Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.
I’m not here to rescue anyone.
Especially not her.
Especially not someone like her.
She’s not my problem.
And I’ll make damn sure she never becomes one.
But when my eyes fell on her lips, I wanted her to be mine.
Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
My mate sees me and runs.

Alpha Nicholas is 28, mateless, and has no plans to change that. It's his turn to host the annual Blue Moon Ball this year and the last thing he expects is to find his mate. What he expects even less is for his mate to be 10 years younger than him and how his body reacts to her. While he tries to refuse to acknowledge that he has met his mate his world is turned upside down after guards catch two she-wolves running through his lands.
Once they are brought to him he finds himself once again facing his mate and discovers that she's hiding secrets that will make him want to kill more than one person.

Can they both work on letting go of the past and moving forward together or will fate have different plans and keep them apart?
How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.
Goddess Of The Underworld
When the veil between the Divine, the Living, and the Dead begins to crack, Envy is thrust beneath with a job she can’t drop: keep the worlds from bleeding together, shepherd the lost, and make ordinary into armour, breakfasts, bedtime, battle plans. Peace lasts exactly one lullaby. This is the story of an orphan pup who became a goddess by choosing her family; of four imperfect alphas learning how to be better. Steamy, fierce, and full of heart, Goddess of the Underworld is a reverse harem, found-family paranormal romance where love writes the rules and keeps three realms from falling apart.
A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Let Them Kneel
Cast out by her pack. Forgotten by the Lycans.
She lived among humans—quiet, invisible, tucked away in a town no one looked at twice.
But when her first heat comes without warning, everything changes.
Her body ignites. Her instincts scream. And something primal stirs beneath her skin—
summoning a big, bad Alpha who knows exactly how to quench her fire.
When he claims her, it’s ecstasy and ruin.
For the first time, she believes she’s been accepted.
Seen.
Chosen.
Until he leaves her the next morning—
like a secret never to be spoken.
But Kaelani is not what they thought.
Not wolfless. Not weak.
There is something ancient inside her. Something powerful. And it’s waking.
And when it does—
they’ll all remember the girl they tried to erase.
Especially him.
She’ll be the dream he keeps chasing… the one thing that ever made him feel alive.
Because secrets never stay buried.
And neither do dreams.
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Invisible To Her Bully
Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
