Introduction

" I need a mate. Someone who can live this life with me and can love my son."
Just like the woman standing at the end of the hall. The red complimented her dark mahogany curls and deep brown eyes. She was pretty. All his nannies had been.

Though, as she stood, he felt that primal need rise up in him. It really had been too long since he’d fed. He felt the surge of desire coarse through his body, his pants tightening.

*****Bram's a vampire who finds a child on the streets and decides to bring him back home to live with him.
To make things easier for him between his businesses and learning to take care of a child, he goes in search of a nanny.

Izabella, who he swears won't fall for Bram's charm. She's young, and has decided to devote herself to her religion and demands to wait for marriage before having sex.

Chapter 1

Flashes of mocha skin shone as she twirled across the dance floor. An assemblage of flesh and blood collected in a primal meeting of the sexes. He could smell it, mingling with sweat. It was the potent scent of the beauty dressed in lace and sequins that had first attracted his attention. She was primed and ready. Bram licked his whisky-sour lips.

He’d been watching her for an hour. She was tiring. He could tell by the way her body kept pausing, breaking from the music to laugh or touch one of her girlfriends. Drops of sweat beaded her skin, shining in the multi-colored flashing lights pulsing over the dance floor. Her breasts practically spilled from the red-sequined bikini top she wore. A black lacy half-top did little to cover her but accentuated the red of the bikini nicely. It tied under her tits, black lace trailing down to the little ruby gem that pierced the skin over her belly button. Her manicured fingertips played over her flat belly, often roaming up to caress her beautiful breasts, before continuing to massage her shoulders and into her chocolate and caramel locks. Painted red lips moved with the words of the music playing over-head as crimson pumps slid across the slick dance floor.

The crowd shifted and he caught a glimpse of her in full. Black fishnets barely met the leather mini hugging her pert little ass. She bent over, her fingers curling around slim ankles as her hair flipped. He caught her honeyed eyes as she froze, noticing him for the first time. He let a half smile play at his lips as his burgundy eyes indolently traveled the length of her fishnets. He got a nice shot of her red lacy thong sprinkled with the sparkling sequins.

She stood, and Bram knew the little dance that followed was for him. Those painted red nails trailed up the fishnets carefully coming to play at her buttocks before fluttering to the black mini. She flipped her hair as she straightened, wiggling her ass in a manner that he found delightfully delicious. She watched him brazenly over her shoulder, fluttering her eyes. Her red pumps slid easily over the smooth patina of the floor; snapping her hips in a saucy manner that absolutely thrilled him as she turned.

Bram raised his glass to her before it hit his lips. She smiled, her hips swaying provocatively as she sauntered over. She twirled a caramel lock around her finger as she slid into the seat next to him. He smiled as her eyes traveled over his robust frame, cocking his brow as her eyes came up to meet his.

“Bartender.” Her voice was husky, demanding. “I need a tequila sunrise.” Bram’s attention was drawn to her delicate fingers as they pulled at the knot just beneath her breasts. His eyes followed the trail her hands made as she smoothed her mini skirt, crossing her legs just so to leave him with the tiniest view of skin between fishnets and leather. Bram knew her game and was ready to play along. He turned his head, signaling the bartender he’d take care of it.

The bartender chuckled as he slid her glass over to her. Bram smiled as the man behind the bar leaned in toward the woman. “This guy’s trouble. You should stay as far away from him as possible.”

She ignored him completely, addressing Bram, much to his delight. “You’re on a tab? I didn’t think they did that here.” She offered him a smile, pulling her plump lip between her teeth in a tantalizing manner.

“I’m a pretty good patron.” His own glass hit the bar, empty. The two men exchanged the briefest of glances before the bartender poured him another round.

The mocha beauty swirled her drink before sucking the straw. As her sultry lips closed around it, he imagined how those lips would feel around his throbbing cock.

“So, how long have you been watching me?”

“Only a few minutes.” It was a lie. He knew his aloof answer would interest her more than fawning over her.

“Ah.” She didn’t sound like she believed him. “My name’s Candy.” She thrust her hand toward him.

“Bram.” He allowed his fingers to caress her palm as their hands met for the first time. Her skin was silky and smooth, everything he’d imagined it would be. She smelled of coconut and lime, which only helped to pull him in further. She smelled good enough to eat.

“So, Bram, are you waiting for your girl to show up, or on the prowl?” Her honey eyes traveled up and down him as his had done to her earlier. Bram licked his lips, wishing she were removing his clothes with her hands instead of just her eyes. He knew women were attracted to his looks. He was tall and muscular, had black hair, and deep blue eyes. His chiseled jaw line and perfectly smooth skin were praised often. He also knew by the way women’s eyes lingered on his lips, that they were one of his best features.

“I guess you could say I’m… on the hunt.” His lips curled at the corners and he cocked a brow at her.

Her pearly-white teeth flashed as she slammed the tequila sunrise. She combed her hair back out of her face, as she did, her top tightened pressing her mocha-tanned breasts together, drawing his gaze. He allowed his smile to deepen as he pressed his glass to his lips again.

“What are you drinking?” She eyed the deep burgundy liquid in the glass.

“A red whiskey, very few bars carry it. Fortunately.” His fingers went to his collar and unbuttoned the top of his shirt. “Would you care to dance?” He asked, pulling his arms out of his blazer.

“I would love to.” Candy took Bram’s hand, leading him out to the dance floor. He had to prepare himself for the assault on his senses. It wasn’t easy, getting used to being around all these hot, sweaty bodies. He had to work up to being at the bar in general, let alone in the thick of everyone in the middle of the dance floor.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf

"White wolf! Kill that monster!"
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

514.4k Views · Completed · Jessica C. Dolan
Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé.
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.

He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."

I wanted to say yes to him.
