When Charlie wrote a short story about the scattering of Sheena’s ashes, he had no idea that it would make it to the local newspaper. That so many people would enjoy it, even Catrina.
He decided to write more, leaving stories on internet sites. When he received his first payment, he raced out and brought a new pair of socks to celebrate.
Coach was the first to visit the new open-at-a-press-of-a-button conservatory.

“I didn’t know you worked here,” he said.
“Just started.”
He blushed at the memory of his abusive message. He wanted to apologize when Jimmie, with a cough, pointed to the TV.
“The rugby’s on,” said Lorraine. She turned the sound up.
Lorraine’s video had made many laugh, including the residents in the home. In fact, many wanted repeats. One woman laughed so hard she cried.
“He’s not the ‘full cup of tea,’” she yelled, stopping many in their tracks.
The elderly woman hadn’t spoken in years. In fact, the last time she spoke, Lorraine was still playing rugby.
