Introduction
I didn’t answer him. All I could feel was hatred, sadness, and sorrow. This is the worst day of my life.
We faced the judge while I was trying to brush his hand off my arm.
The entire event happened with me trying to move away from him while he keeps on pulling me beside him.
The judge didn’t even ask me if I agree on marrying him.
“And now, I pronounce you husband and wife! Mr. Hastings, you may kiss your wife now.”
That phrase caused my whole body to shiver. I could still remember the time when he kissed me.
Sebastine faced me and lifted the veil above my head. I froze in place for a moment while I was staring at his face.
Slowly, he moved his face closer to me while looking straight into my eyes. My heart kept on beating so fast it felt like it was going to jump off my chest.
He put his hand under my chin and made me look at him as he claimed my lips.
I flinched but then I closed my eyes as I felt the warmth of his mouth.
I wanted to push him away, I wanted to punch his face but I just couldn’t. It felt like a spell was cast on me.
I tapped his chest for him to finally move away but he just won’t pull away from the kiss.
He only let go of me when he was finally satisfied. We were both panting.
His men started to clap while looking at us.
Chapter 1
Ava's POV
"So, what makes you think that we'd actually accept you as a part-time teacher here in our University?" asked one of the interviewers to me.
With my hands shaking, I took a deep breath and faced her confidently, at least that's the definition of confidence for me. Then I opened my mouth, "I am
actually...err... I'm a straight A student from kindergarten until now.
And I am also running for the highest rank in our class now. I really like children and I love teaching them...".
You can do it, Ava. No need to be nervous, you can do it, girl.
The woman and the man beside her looked at each other and nodded, "So,Thompson is your surname? Do you have any relationship with Mr. Edward Thompson?"
"Yes, he is my father."
Both of their eyes widened upon hearing what I just said.
They quickly stood up and bowed their heads at me, "G-Good Morning, Miss Thompson ".
"N-No, you don't have to be so polite to me. I'm just an applicant here, and so I just want to know if I get in?" I asked them with my fingers crossed and my heart beating incredibly loud that it could actually jump off my chest right now.
"Of course, Miss Thompson! You are in! You can now teach in our school whenever you want to start!".
"R-Really?! Oh, thank you so much, you don't know how much this means to me, thank you so much!".
"Y-You're Welcome, Miss Thompson, it's also an honor for us to have you here in our institution."
I was jumping enthusiastically as soon as I stepped out of that room. Teaching children has been my dream ever since I was a child, it was my mom's dream for me too, before she died.
And now it has already come true! I'm sure she's so happy for me.
Although I think the only reason why I got in was because of my surname, Thompson. My father, Edward Thompson, is known to be one of the richest men here in New York City.
But that doesn't mean I am rich too. Everything that he has, they don't really belong to me.
I'm just his daughter with one of their maids before whom he had a one-night stand with even though he already had a wife.
Afraid that dad's parents would get mad and shoo him away from their family, mom decided to just leave their mansion and escape to hide me from them.
She lived in a place where she thought everyone wouldn't be able to find her but she was wrong, because my grandparents are so rich that they can hire anyone just to locate where she is.
They took me away from my mother, I escaped their house when I was ten years old and went back to my mother but they took me back again.
Mom also told me to just stay at my father's house too. Then one day, she had a heart attack and died, I went to her burial, alone.
Until then, I lived at my father's house.
Their enormous mansion that could actually have a hundred families to live in.
If you're thinking that I live a wealthy and happy life since I'm a Thompson, then you are all wrong, they don't treat me as one of them anyway.
I do all the things that maids do, I serve them, wash their clothes, bring their clothes, carry their bags, water the plants, wipe the windows, floors, anything.
That's the consequence of living inside their house. "Hey Ava, where the hell did you go again?" Cathrina asked me as soon as I stepped inside the mansion.
"I applied for a job." I simply replied.
Catherina the oldest daughter of my father and his wife, his first and legal wife.
They have two daughters and one son in total who are, of course, way older than me. "A job? Why? Do you still need money even if dad's already giving you a monthly allowance?".
"It's not about the money, I really want to teach children ever since."
She just rolled her eyes, "Oh whatever, do what you want, just don't forget to do my assignments.
Tomorrow will be the deadline for all of that."
"Okay."
"Hey Ava!" There goes Cindy, the second to the oldest daughter of my father.
"Buy all of these, okay? I need that in my school tomorrow, I need that in my school tomorrow, and also, don't forget to go to Harold's house and tell him that I'm already breaking up with him.”
My eyes widened as I looked at her with confusion, "Why don't you just break up with him in person?".
"Shut up! Just tell him! I don't want to waste my time with his drama again!".
Cindy has the habit of dating different boys in her school, then breakup with them after a week, but what's worst is that I am the one who talks to his boyfriend and tells them that she wants a breakup.
I always have to make up stories and find possible reasons why she wants a breakup.
I just suppressed a sigh then I was about to go to my room and change my clothes when I suddenly saw Gabriel walking towards me with a smile on his face. "Geb!"
"Ava! You need to hear this new song that I composed!" he said, enthusiastically. Geb is two years older than me and really loves music.
Out of all the siblings I have, he's the one I'm closest to.
"Alright, I will just change my clothes and then we'll listen to it later, okay?".
"Okay! I'll wait for you at my studio."
"Okay!" Then I finally opened the door of my room and went inside with a smile on my face.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...
Angelina, the most powerful Alpha who conquered forty-nine packs, dies in a yacht explosion—only to wake up as Aria Sterling, a fifteen-year-old Omega's daughter who just died from bullying.
The original Aria's life was a nightmare. Humiliated when golden boy Kai Matthews posted her love letter online, then shoved to death by his girlfriend Bella Morrison. But that's not all her family faces:
"You got until Monday," the tattooed gangster sneered at Aria's mother. "Ten grand cash. Or I'm taking collateral—your kids' organs fetch top dollar. That pretty daughter of yours? She could make us money another way too."
Now Angelina's lethal combat skills awaken in this fragile body. No more hiding. No more fear.
Armed with an Alpha's ruthlessness and a mysterious blood-red pendant, she'll dismantle everyone who hurt this family—one calculated move at a time.
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
Danielle Harris is the daughter of an overprotective police chief and has led a sheltered life. As a kindergarten teacher, she's as far removed from the world of Harleys and bikers as you could get, but when she's rescued by the sexy and dangerous Austin Carver, her life is changed forever.
Although Austin 'Booker' Carver is enamored by the innocent Dani, he tries to keep the police chief's daughter at arm's length. But when a threat is made from an unexpected source, he finds himself falling hard and fast for the only woman who can tame his wild heart.
Will Booker be able to find the source of the threat before it's too late?
Will Dani finally give her heart to a man who's everything she's been warned about?
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.

My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate

A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Accidentally Crossing the Tycoon
Four years ago, the Bailey family faced a devastating financial crisis.
Just when bankruptcy seemed inevitable, a mysterious benefactor emerged, offering salvation with one condition: a contract marriage.
Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
