Introduction
"You have a body that can give a man multiple orgasms Alexandria but I am a hunter. I do the pursuing, not the other way around. Take your delicious ss somewhere else because am not interested. I have more important things to do," he said dismissively and looked at his laptop seeming unconcerned with my feelings.
When he raised his eyes again he cocked an eyebrow. I was unbuttoning my top while running the pink tip of my tongue around my lips. His eyes narrowed. I was now just in my lacy underwear.
"Can you say no to all these Drake Quintero?" I asked huskily as I touched my brasts under my bra. I slowly went towards him.
"Make me yours, you won't regret it, " I said almost like a whisper as I looked at his gorgeous face.
He can't help but curse with what I said. His eyes turned dark. My face broke into a seductive smile. He wanted me after all. He was just playing hard to get.
"Take me my boo..."I uttered in a breathy voice as I began to unhook my brassiere.
When I laid eyes on Dr. Drake, the most gorgeous doctor I had ever seen, I told myself that he would be mine. It was love and desire at first sight for me but he seemed to be not interested at all. With my perfect body and beautiful face, no man was immune to me. Even if the very rich and hot as hell doctor was indifferent to me, I would make him want me as much as I wanted him or more. It would be a battle between me, a very desirable determined female and a hot doctor who seemed to be just controlling his attraction to me.
Chapter 1
I was from a rich family and my parents owned a fast food chain but I wasn’t prim and proper as others would expect from someone who was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. I was gorgeous and had a great body and might appear to be a flirt but I hadn’t had any boyfriend since birth. I hadn’t found my ideal man yet.
"Hands down to you Lexi! You are a real queen girl! Imagine rejecting the handsome Gavin Montes in front of his friends?" Ivy couldn't help but praise me.
"The poor guy had no idea that behind that angelic looking face is a vulgar female with a filthy mouth! A 24-year old woman from a well-off family who graduated from a prestigious university but sadly with no good manners and etiquette. That gorgeous outside appearance of yours could lure any man I have to say just don’t open your mouth and talk because it would be a major turn off!” My gay friend Ola who is Orlando at night commented with one raised brow. He owned a beauty salon where I was a patron.
I just shrugged my shoulders at them. I had to agree that I was very attractive. I had flawless skin. My height of five feet four inches tall was proportioned to my almost hour glass body. In other words I was a natural goddess.
“Well you guys know that I can act perfectly in formal gatherings too but it could get tiring. Those kind of events are more for my older sister since she is a model. You know that I feel more comfortable being myself when I am with both of you,” I told them as I beam.
Ola and Ivy were from a middle-class family but I’d rather spend time with them than with people from the same social circle as my family.
"Maybe you flirted with Gavin so the poor guy thought you like him, am I right?" asked Ola.
"Of course not! You know how naturally seductive I am so maybe he misinterpreted everything. I don’t want to have any kind of relationship with that arrogant playboy!”
"Well just a word of warning, you better be careful! I don’t think Gavin will let what you did pass just like that. You embarrassed him in front of his friends!” Ola added.
"Excuse me but I didn’t say anything rude to him! I just told him that I am not yet ready to be in a relationship. It was his fault that he asked me to be his woman in front of everybody and their brother. Well good for him! He was too confident that I would say yes!”
"For a guy like him for sure that hurt his ego a lot so I agree with Ola. Be more cautious okay?” it was Ivy this time.
I just sighed heavily and at that moment, my phone started to ring. My older sister was calling.
“Shhh keep quiet! It’s my socialite sister Farrah,” I put a finger in front of my mouth.
“Lexi you need to go home right now! It’s an emergency!” my sister ordered.
Unfortunately Farrah’s boyfriend had an urgent matter to attend to so last minute he cancelled going with her. My sister’s friend Leo who was a famous fashion designer was holding a special event tonight. They were going to welcome the owner of Beauty First Clinic. I didn’t like going to such events but I couldn’t say no to my sister because she would kill me. Since she was a model, she frequently went to such affairs but always with someone.
"I can't wear this! It's too tight!” I complained.
She was forcing me to wear a red dress which was made by her friend who was hosting the event.
“Stop whining or we’ll be late! Make sure you take care of that dress! Leo will get angry at me if you soil or damage his masterpiece!” she warned me.
I just rolled my eyes and checked my hair and make-up which was done by Ola. I looked beautiful as ever. Everything was perfect except for the tight-fitting dress. It was supposed to be worn by another model but apparently she caught the flu so she couldn’t come too.
"Ginnie is slim and tall! She has small bre*sts! I am 36E so I can hardly breathe in this!”
"Will you please stop whining Lexi? I never ask any favor from you until now. I just couldn’t go alone in this event! Besides since we’re supposed to wear Leo’s creations, you have no choice but to wear that! You can leave after an hour okay? Come on! Let’s go! “
I chose not to comment anymore. My sister was right. I was the one who always asked favors from her.
"Fix yourself and your facial expression! I know you don’t like attending this kind of gathering but don’t you dare do something that would embarrass me!” she warned me and I pouted.
With one brow raised I sarcastically said ,"You should have told me earlier that I should act like Miss Congeniality so I could have printed a smiley and pasted it on my face!”
“Farrah I am tired of smiling! You said I can leave after an hour?” I whispered to my sister as I kept a smile.
I winced a little when she discreetly pinched my side. I was actually sick and tired of listening to another model she was talking to. The way the woman was speaking and acting looked so stagy. If I spend a minute more listening to her too husky voice , I was sure I would feel dizzy.
I cleared my throat and said to my sister without even throwing the model a glance, “I need to go to the powder room. I’ll be back soon.”
"Don't be too long. The special guest will be arriving anytime now," she reminded me.
I nodded and walked out of the function room of the hotel. I really needed a breath of fresh air. I was fumbling for my phone in my bag when I bumped into something solid.
"Hey!" exclaimed a baritone voice.
"Aw!” I uttered.
I almost lost my balance but two firm hands took hold of my arms. I raised my face and eyes to see who it was.
The man was towering. My mouth opened slightly when I saw a pair of dark gray eyes. I swallowed when I realized how good-looking he was. He was like a Greek God coming to life.
"Are you alright?" he asked and his brows furrowed.
I was about to answer when I heard a ripping sound. The lacy ribbons which were used to tie the front of the gown together gave way probably because the male in front of me looked so damn hot. I tried to cover my exposed chest but it was too late. The man’s dark gray eyes went automatically to my mountains.

I Loved You in Silence, You Betrayed Me in French
At my birthday party, my husband whispered to his mistress in French that he missed her. His voice was low, but I heard it all—the black lingerie, the bit about how pregnancy makes you more sensitive. His French clients around us were laughing. He turned and put his arm around me, claiming he was just helping his clients come up with sweet nothings.
He doesn't know I understand every single word. Just like he doesn't know that inside my body, I'm carrying his other surprise. And his mistress—she's pregnant too. Two wombs, one secret.
Confrontation would be too cheap. Tears are worthless. I quietly started cataloging the hidden networks my father left behind, activating the Swiss accounts.
In seven days, Zoey Smith will cease to exist. And what will my husband's reaction be?
When I Disappeared, He Regretted It
The moment the screen lit up, my entire world came crashing down.
The woman on the bed was Calista - that girl who grew up with us since we were kids. And that hand caressing her skin was wearing the wedding ring I had personally put on Matteo's finger.
"I've missed you so much..."
"You drive me crazy, baby..."
Those sweet words I knew so well completely destroyed me.
Everyone said we were the perfect couple, but who knew this marriage was built on nothing but lies?
Since he's so good at acting, I guess it's time I gave him a show of my own. I'm going to make sure everyone sees what this "perfect husband" really is...
He Never Loved Me, Until I Left
I put away the divorce agreement with a wry smile.
When he and my son completely disappeared, he finally panicked.
Three months later .
He knelt down on the streets of Chicago in despair, begging me to remarry him.
My six-year-old son looked coldly at his biological father and said, "Get lost, you bad uncle! You don't deserve to be my dad!"
The Family Sacrifice
I simply said one word: "Okay."
My parents and Gilbert were stunned. They rushed to have me sign the voluntary donation form, afraid I’d change my mind.
Some days later, they sent me to the operating room.
Dad said, "Yvonne will finally be saved. We're so proud of you."
Mom said, "After the surgery, we'll make it up to you."
Gilbert looked tenderly at Yvonne and said, "When you're better, where should we travel?"
What they didn't know was that the day I agreed, I'd just received my diagnosis, stage four cancer. Three months to live.
As I lay on the cold operating table, as the anesthesia began to take effect, I only wanted to know one thing:
If I die on this operating table, will they regret it?
He Thought I'd Never Leave
When he said he was being bullied, I believed him. When he kissed me on that rooftop, I thought he felt the same. When he asked me to transfer schools with him, I said yes without hesitation.
Then I heard him bragging to his friends: "She'd save her first time for me. Hell, she'd still be thinking of me on her wedding night."
The bullying was staged. The kiss meant nothing. He just wanted me gone—so his new girl could feel more comfortable.
He thought I'd beg. He thought I'd cry. He thought I'd never actually leave.
I left the country.
And ran straight into his stepbrother.
I Died While They Threw Her a Party
Their real daughter came home. She'd only been back two years. That's all it took to erase twenty-four.
When kidnappers grabbed us, I used my body as a shield. They beat me until something inside me ruptured. I was dying from internal bleeding, but no one could tell.
My parents wouldn't even look at me. "This is your fault! None of this would've happened if it weren't for you!"
"Get downstairs and apologize to your sister. If you can't, pack your things and get out."
They threw her a party at a downtown hotel while I died alone in my room.
I thought they'd be relieved. Maybe even glad. I thought they'd just move on like I never existed.
But when they finally learned the truth, they fell apart.
Bury Me in His Regret
The kidnapper pressed the gun to my temple and asked, "Choose your wife or your sister-in-law?"
Zachary didn't hesitate. "Let Valerie go," he said.
He actually chose to save his sister-in-law! In that moment, even the baby in my belly seemed to stop kicking.
Later, they locked me in the basement. Drugs to delay labor were pumped into my veins over and over. Zachary wanted to save the "firstborn son" status for his sister-in-law's child.
When warm blood finally soaked through my skirt, I dialed the number I knew by heart with shaking hands.
"Zachary," I whispered into the phone, "our child... can't wait any longer."
The Kidney That Killed Me
A few months ago, my sister was hospitalized with kidney failure. The doctor said she needed a transplant. My family's first thought was me—the backup daughter they'd kept around all these years.
When my husband Allen took my hand with tears in his eyes and said, "Only you can save her," I agreed without hesitation.
When the doctor explained the surgical risks and potential complications, I smiled and nodded my understanding.
My parents said I'd finally learned what sisterly love meant.
Even Allen, who'd always been cold to me, held my hand gently and said, "The surgery's safe. You're so healthy, nothing will go wrong. When you recover, I'll take you to Hawaii."
But they don't know that no matter how the surgery goes, I won't be around to celebrate.
Because I just got my own test results—I have terminal brain cancer. I'm going to die anyway.
After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.
