Introduction
Behind the closed doors of a sleek, high-rise office, Richard Montclair stared out at the city skyline, his jaw tight with desperation. The legacy he'd fought to build was slipping through his fingers.
There was only one way to save it.
An alliance-one forged not in boardrooms, but in marriage.
His daughter, Elena, would marry Jaxon Wentworth. A man she had never met, a name whispered in hushed tones across elite circles.
To Richard, it wasn't about love. It was survival.
He worked so hard to keep the Montclair company on the top and he was not going to watch it crumble away.
To Elena, it was a future she never chose.
And somewhere far away, Jaxon was about to be pulled into a game he didn't know he was playing.
This was no ordinary alliance.
This was a battle for everything.
Chapter 1
The evening sun poured through the tall windows of the Montclair estate, casting long golden streaks across the polished marble floor. Elena sat curled on the edge of the couch, a cup of tea warming her hands, unaware that everything in her life was about to change.
Her mother sat opposite her, flipping through a magazine, while her father stood silently near the fireplace, unusually tense.
“Elena,” he said suddenly, his voice firm. “We need to talk.”
She looked up, eyebrows raised. “Okay… about what?”
Her father stepped forward. “There’s been a decision. One that concerns your future—and the future of this family.”
She blinked. “You’re scaring me. What decision?”
He didn’t blink. “You’re getting married.”
The cup slipped slightly in her grip. “Excuse me?”
“To Jaxon Wentworth,” he continued. “It’s already in motion. The agreement will help stabilize our partnership with his company. It’s... necessary.”
Elena stared at him in disbelief. “You’re not serious. You can’t be serious.”
Her mother looked away, avoiding her gaze.
Elena stood up, her voice rising. “You want me to marry someone I’ve never met? Someone I don’t love? Like I’m some... bargaining chip?”
Her father’s tone remained calm but firm. “You’re not a child, Elena. This is about responsibility. About family.”
“This is about you,” she snapped. “Not me.”
A heavy silence filled the room.
She looked between them—her father cold and unbending, her mother silent like stone—and she suddenly felt like a stranger in her own home.
“I can’t do this,” she whispered, her voice trembling. “I won’t.”
Her father opened his mouth, but she cut him off, eyes blazing now.
“If this means so much to you, then maybe you and Mom can go ahead and marry him yourselves,” she snapped. “But I’m not going to spend my life with someone I don’t love. Someone I’ve never even met. That’s not who I am.”
With that, she turned and stormed out of the living room, heels clicking sharply against the floor. She didn’t wait for their reply. She didn’t care what they had to say anymore.
Her footsteps faded down the hallway, the final slam of the front door echoing like thunder through the grand room.
Richard Montclair exhaled slowly, rubbing his temples. “She’ll come around.”
His wife, Vivian, finally set the magazine aside. Her voice was low, touched with worry. “You should’ve told her differently. She’s not a pawn, Richard. She’s our daughter.”
“She is our daughter,” he said tightly, “which is why I’m trying to protect her—even if she doesn’t see it yet.”
Vivian looked toward the door where Elena had disappeared. “You’re protecting the company. But who’s protecting her heart?”
Richard said nothing. His silence was louder than any answer.
---
Upstairs, Elena slammed her bedroom door shut and leaned back against it, her chest rising and falling with shallow breaths.
How could they?
She dropped onto her bed, burying her face in her hands. Her thoughts raced—What did this Jaxon guy even look like? Was he cruel? Arrogant? Cold? Why her?
The anger gave way to exhaustion. Eventually, her eyes grew heavy, and she curled into herself under the soft glow of her bedside lamp.
The last thing she thought before sleep took her was—there has to be a way out of this.

Vengeance of the Forsaken Luna
"Bella." Ethan's tone shifted, taking on that warning edge I knew too well. "Faye is vulnerable right now. She's terrified you'll resent her, that this will divide the pack. The last thing she wants is for this baby to come between us."
"Then you shouldn't have done it." I met his eyes squarely, letting him see the ice in mine. "Go back to your son."
"For fuck's sake." He dragged a hand through his hair. "How many times—it was artificial insemination. They used my sperm, yes, but Faye and I never—"
Bella let out a cold snort. Such brazen lies. Her mate had an affair with his brother's partner, and his entire family helped force her out with nothing, all to make way for the mistress to take her rightful position. Poor fool—he thought she was just an unwanted adopted daughter, easy to dismiss and control. He never knew the computer genius he'd been searching for was his own Luna.
Since he'd tainted himself, Bella was done. She rejected him and reclaimed what was hers, rising to the top with help from Victor, who'd been secretly in love with her for years.
When Ethan tried winning her back: "You don't want our child growing up fatherless."
Bella smiled mockingly. "The child's father isn't you."

The head chef looked like he was silently praying for death.
I rushed forward. “Amara. Stop traumatizing these poor people.”
She spun around, delighted. “Sera! Good, you’re here. Taste this. It’s missing despair.”
The chef’s face morphed into existential crisis.
I grabbed her arm. “Put the spatula down.”
“But—”
“Down.”
With exaggerated offense, she dropped the spatula and muttered, “Fine. But if no one here has artistic vision, that’s not my fault.”
She went undercover to expose a mafia empire.
He offered her thirty nights to save her life.

COLD (Ruthless Player)
“Please… Nick, wait.” He pulled out, thrusted back in. “How much? Twenty thousand? Fifty? Hundred?” With every question, he thrust harder and harder. My neurons are frying with the confusing feeling in my brain. Torn between pleasure, fear, and panic. I couldn't utter a single sentence to save my life.
His cold eyes pinned me in place while he plundered my body with deep thrusts, which only added to my confusion. My dumb body mistook the mixed signals, my pussy becoming even wetter than before.
“I hope she'd paid you well, because I'm going to fuck you all night long, hard,” he growled. “Sleep, then do it all over again. I want to feel you come for me, Andrea, want to feel you squeeze my cock, milking me.
Begging for me to give you the high only I can, I'm going to fucked you until I fuck all my wife's money's worth, I want you to remember how hard I took you while you're meeting her.” I sobbed, moaned, and tried to scramble out under him.
“No, please…Nick, let….let me explain.” Nick abruptly pulled out. His eyes were cold but hooded.
Andrea was sent to take down billionaire magnate Nicklaus Montgomery.
Her mission was simple: get close, seduce him, find the proof, and disappear. Instead Andrea finds herself exposed—cornered into signing a contract that binds her to Nicklaus's side as his lover. In despair, Sable left, reclaimed her true identity, and married her childhood neighbor—Lycan King Caelan, nine years her senior and her fated mate. Now Darrell desperately tries to win her back. How will her revenge unfold?

To protect what’s mine
The Contract Wife: Marriage Of Malice
He didn't finish. He didn't need to.
I didn't tell him to stop.
Instead, my fingers curled into his shirt, clutching the fabric as though it was my only anchor. Something in him snapped—something he had been holding back for too long. His mouth found mine in a kiss that wasn't tender, but hungry, desperate.
I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.
"You drive me insane," he breathed against my mouth, his lips trailing to my throat. "I can't lose you, Ella. Not you."
My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.
