Chapter 1
I was on my way home from work. I had to leave earlier than my closing time. I have been sick lately. I just have to relax, I guess. My body felt sore, easily gets tired, and had headaches and so on, I should be worried but I wasn't because I was never almost sick. That doesn't mean you can't get sick.
I sighed, I drove slowly because I felt dizzy, maybe I should just come down and take a cab or something? That would be stressful so I decided to continue my slow drive home. Soon I got home, Carson, my husband, won't be home by now, he left earlier today to go sign some contracts, which was good because I don't want him worried about me being sick. Whenever I am sick, Carson stresses himself and refuses to go to work just to take care of me.
I giggled remembering the day I had a fever. He refused to go to work so he could be with me. Fulfilling all of my wishes. I am seriously so lucky to have someone like him in my life.
I drove into the garage and stopped the car.
I got out of my car and locked it, I spotted Carson's car. Well, that's a surprise, it was only 2 pm. Maybe he got the contracts and signed them. I'm so proud of him!
I guess I can't hide that I am sick today. I walked to my front door and unlocked it. The sitting room was dead silent.
Where was he? It's either he is here or he's in his home office. So if he is not here then he would be in his home office. I strolled to his little office and called "Carson?" I was replied with silence
"Carson?" I called again, this time my voice louder. He wasn't in the sitting room or his office. He must be in our room, then. But that's odd.
I mopped through the stairs to where our room was. "Sweetheart, I am home!" I say sweetly. I moved closer to the door, I stopped in my tracks when I heard moans. I giggled. Was he watching porn?
"Baby?" I called opening the door, my eyes widened, and my heart suddenly beats faster than ever. I could hear my heart beating against my chest, and tears gathered in my eyes.
They stopped, and she got off him, I swear I just saw her smirk at me, I heard Carson groan, and next to him was the girl I called my best friend.
I moved away from the door, closing the door behind me, I turned to walk away. This had to be a dream. Oh god, please let it be a dream.
Running out, I went to my car. I didn't want to be anywhere near them at that moment, but I didn't know why I waited for like five minutes, Hoping he would come to meet me and explain this. I drove off, going to only god knows where.
More tears spilt out of my eyes, why? Why would he do that? I thought he loved me.
And why does it have to be with Sara? Someone who was like a sister to me, I can't believe she would do such a thing.
It felt like my heart is been ripped off my chest.
My hands started shaking. I had to stop driving, I parked my car on the side of the road and started crying, so hard.
You would regret going to him someday! My aunt's voice screamed at me.
He's going to use and dump you!
Don't return here when he does, I won't accept you! You should reconsider getting married to him!
These made me cry harder. She had been right, I guess. She had always been against my relationship with Carson.
Someone knocked at the window of my car. "Hey, sorry for disturbing you but it's getting late and it's really dangerous out here." A guy said.
I slowly turned my head to look at the time. 6:57 pm?? I looked back at the man. "Thank you." I could barely hear myself, not sure if he heard until he nodded his head. "You're welcome." He said. I sighed and drove off.
I was so confused, I didn't know what to do, I finally got to the house, and my body felt numb.
When I got in, I saw Carson in the sitting room, he was talking to someone on the phone.
His eyes met mine for a brief minute and he cuts the line of whosoever he was calling.
"Sign that." I looked at where he was motioning at a paper on a paper holder, and my eyes widened when I saw its contents.
He was going to divorce me? I didn't want a divorce. Yes, I am angry at him for cheating, my blood was boiling but I didn't want to divorce him. He's Carson, the man I married, the man I love. I have always treasured him, told him how much I love him and he told me he loved me too. He showed his love for me in all kinds of ways. I can't believe this! "Cars-" he cuts me off when he snapped. "Just fucking sign it." he snapped.
"Carson, you don't have to do this. We can still make our marriage work out. Please, I love you, Carson, please! Don-"
"Make what work out, Tessa? I have been in this loveless marriage for three years! Just fucking sign the paper and get the fuck out of my house!" He gritted.
I was shocked. Loveless. Does he think our marriage was loveless? I was scared to say anything back to him because he looked so angry and I have never seen him this angry before. It scared me.
Were you thinking of staying with him after what you saw earlier?? My subconsciousness screamed at me. I just could not imagine not being with him.
With tears spilling out of my eyes I moved closer to him, "Carson, please don't do this, you've always said you love me a-" he cuts me off again.

When I Disappeared, He Regretted It
The moment the screen lit up, my entire world came crashing down.
The woman on the bed was Calista - that girl who grew up with us since we were kids. And that hand caressing her skin was wearing the wedding ring I had personally put on Matteo's finger.
"I've missed you so much..."
"You drive me crazy, baby..."
Those sweet words I knew so well completely destroyed me.
Everyone said we were the perfect couple, but who knew this marriage was built on nothing but lies?
Since he's so good at acting, I guess it's time I gave him a show of my own. I'm going to make sure everyone sees what this "perfect husband" really is...
He Never Loved Me, Until I Left
I put away the divorce agreement with a wry smile.
When he and my son completely disappeared, he finally panicked.
Three months later .
He knelt down on the streets of Chicago in despair, begging me to remarry him.
My six-year-old son looked coldly at his biological father and said, "Get lost, you bad uncle! You don't deserve to be my dad!"
He Thought I'd Never Leave
When he said he was being bullied, I believed him. When he kissed me on that rooftop, I thought he felt the same. When he asked me to transfer schools with him, I said yes without hesitation.
Then I heard him bragging to his friends: "She'd save her first time for me. Hell, she'd still be thinking of me on her wedding night."
The bullying was staged. The kiss meant nothing. He just wanted me gone—so his new girl could feel more comfortable.
He thought I'd beg. He thought I'd cry. He thought I'd never actually leave.
I left the country.
And ran straight into his stepbrother.
Bury Me in His Regret
The kidnapper pressed the gun to my temple and asked, "Choose your wife or your sister-in-law?"
Zachary didn't hesitate. "Let Valerie go," he said.
He actually chose to save his sister-in-law! In that moment, even the baby in my belly seemed to stop kicking.
Later, they locked me in the basement. Drugs to delay labor were pumped into my veins over and over. Zachary wanted to save the "firstborn son" status for his sister-in-law's child.
When warm blood finally soaked through my skirt, I dialed the number I knew by heart with shaking hands.
"Zachary," I whispered into the phone, "our child... can't wait any longer."
Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
My mate sees me and runs.

“I’m sorry, sweetheart. Was that too much?” I could see the worry in his eyes as I took a deep breath.
“I just didn’t want you to see all my scars,” I whispered, feeling ashamed of my marked body.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
