Introduction
However, Harper agreed to marry Logan on a mission of revenge. Instead of seeking revenge, Harper was driven mad by Logan's love and pampering. The entire country knew that Logan deeply loved the woman who was supposed to be his son's wife. Not only was she pampered by Logan, but Harper also gained the respect of everyone.
Seeing her father's happiness with his ex-fiancée, Ethan became upset. He felt that happiness should have been his. He regretted choosing another woman. So he used all means to win Harper back.
Chapter 1
"Please don't go. You've already called off our wedding six times. I can't bear the shame if you leave me again this time. Please, this time I'm really begging you," Harper said in a trembling voice. She hugged Ethan's legs, trying to stop him. Her face was red and wet from crying badly.
Previously, their wedding had been called off because Ethan's first love choked on food. Another time, Ethan had called off the wedding again because his first love wasn't feeling well. Every time they were about to get married, Ethan's first love always got into trouble, so Ethan always left Harper at the wedding venue without even considering her feelings.
Usually, Harper would always be understanding. She would always forgive him every time he came home and apologized. He promised that next time he would have a grand wedding to make up for all his mistakes. However, he had broken his promise again and again. He had repeated the same mistake over and over again.
This was the seventh time. If Ethan really called off the wedding this time, Harper would choose to give up. Seven times was the limit of her patience.
“Yvonnie would kill herself if I married you. Her life is nothing compared to yours,” Ethan said sharply.
“But everyone knows you’re going to marry me. We’ve been dating for five years. I never complained whenever you prioritized Yvonnie over me. I always gave in because I knew she was very important to you. You and she knew each other for a long time before I came into your life.” Harper tried to persuade her. She didn’t let go of Ethan’s leg at all, because she didn’t want him to leave the wedding venue.
"Since everyone is gathered here, I have an announcement to make. I'm canceling this wedding and ending my relationship with Harper. After hearing that Yvonnie was going to commit suicide just because I wanted to marry another woman, I realized that we loved each other and couldn't be separated. It's my fault for wasting these five years of my youth dating Harper," Ethan said brazenly.
"What do you mean? Don't you really love Harper?" Logan spoke up. He couldn't stand his son's arrogant attitude in front of everyone.
"I never said I liked her. You were the one who kept pressuring us to get married. If you hadn't forced me into a relationship with her, I wouldn't have wanted to spend even an hour with her," Ethan said firmly.
Hearing this confession, Harper felt more than just shame. She also felt a pain in her chest, making it impossible for her to speak. She released her grip on Ethan's leg, allowing him to pursue the woman of his dreams. Who would have thought that this five-year relationship had been nothing but a sham. If Ethan never loved her, he wouldn't have forced her.
Harper remained silent, her gaze fixed on the floor. Her shoulders heaved with sobs. The man she loved so much had apparently only seen her as a barrier between her and her first love.
Feelings of utter chaos, she let Ethan leave the wedding hall. She paled in place, as if frozen and unable to move.
"Forget that bastard. I've told you repeatedly to break up with him, but you keep forcing to marry him. Look what's happened now?" Liam said, holding back his irritation. How could he stand by when he saw his only daughter being treated so badly and humiliated in front of so many people?
"Stop blaming her, she's just a girl in love." Lisa helped her daughter to her feet. She wiped Harper's face with a tissue to wipe away the traces of her tears. "Your tears are too precious to cry over someone like him."
Harper fell silent. Her mother was right. If Ethan didn't want her, she wouldn't want him again. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her feelings. After she calmed down, she looked at everyone there.
“I didn’t want Ethan, he didn’t leave me. From this day forward, if anything happens to him, it has nothing to do with me. From this moment on, we’ll be strangers,” Harper said firmly.
Logan looked displeased. He stepped closer, his eyes meaningful.
“I’ve wanted you to be part of my family for a long time. If Ethan doesn’t want to marry you, then let me be your groom.” The 45-year-old man knelt down. He held out a massive 24-carat diamond ring. It didn’t even compare to her wedding ring with Ethan. It was so beautiful and captivating.
Everyone was shocked to hear and witness what Logan had just said. Had he gone mad? His son had just left his fiancée for another woman. Now he was trying to marry his son's ex-fiancée. Had he lost his mind?
"What are you doing? Do you want to further humiliate my daughter?" Liam was furious. He approached and grabbed Logan by the collar. His face was flushed, his breathing was labored, and the veins in his neck were clearly visible. He seemed truly furious.
"You misunderstand. I actually want to make up for all the wrongs Ethan has done. I will repay her for all the pain she has endured. I will make her the happiest wife in the world. I swear, for the rest of my life, I will love only her," Logan said seriously. He looked at Harper with a look of love. It was a look so different from the one Harper had ever experienced.
Could his feelings have suddenly changed? This was very suspicious.
"Stay away from my daughter. She deserves a man far better than you. You're an old man, not worthy of her," Liam said sharply.
Harper was silent for a moment. Logan had always been very kind to her. Even when she fought with Ethan, he always defended her. They lived in Logan's mansion, and Ethan had been living off his father's money. If she married Logan and became Ethan's stepmother, things would be very interesting.
Wasn't the best revenge for an ex-boyfriend to be his mother? She could easily avenge all her pain. She would make life difficult for Ethan, and Logan would continue to stand by her side. Wasn't this a very attractive offer?
"Let's go, Harper!" Lisa tugged at her daughter's arm.
"No, Mom. I'm going to marry him," Harper said firmly. She smiled meaningfully, now internally concocting a plan to avenge all her pain.

But when that same stranger's doctor appeared at my door, when twenty million dollars exchanged hands over a fake perfume bearing my secret identity, and when Damon's gray eyes locked onto mine with recognition I couldn't afford, I realized my carefully hidden life as the legendary perfumer Vera was colliding with a pregnancy that could cost me everything.
Could I protect my babies from the husband plotting my death, hide my true identity from the Alpha who's been hunting me for years, and reclaim the freedom I'd buried along with my dreams—even if it means standing alone against the wolves who see me as nothing more than a womb to be used and discarded?

After One Night with the Alpha
I thought I was waiting for love. Instead, I got fucked by a beast.
My world was supposed to bloom at the Moonshade Bay Full Moon Festival—champagne buzzing in my veins, a hotel room booked for Jason and me to finally cross that line after two years. I’d slipped into lacy lingerie, left the door unlocked, and lay on the bed, heart pounding with nervous excitement.
But the man who climbed into my bed wasn’t Jason.
In the pitch-black room, drowned in a heady, spicy scent that made my head spin, I felt hands—urgent, scorching—searing my skin. His thick, pulsing cock pressed against my dripping cunt, and before I could gasp, he thrust hard, tearing through my innocence with ruthless force. Pain burned, my walls clenching as I clawed at his iron shoulders, stifling sobs. Wet, slick sounds echoed with every brutal stroke, his body unrelenting until he shuddered, spilling hot and deep inside me.
"That was amazing, Jason," I managed to say.
"Who the fuck is Jason?"
My blood turned to ice. Light slashed across his face—Brad Rayne, Alpha of Moonshade Pack, a werewolf, not my boyfriend. Horror choked me as I realized what I’d done.
I ran away for my life!
But weeks later, I woke up pregnant with his heir!
They say my heterochromatic eyes mark me as a rare true mate. But I’m no wolf. I’m just Elle, a nobody from the human district, now trapped in Brad's world.
Brad’s cold gaze pins me: “You carry my blood. You’re mine.”
There is no other choice for me but to chose this cage. My body also betrays me, craving the beast who ruined me.
