But when she opens her eyes again, she’s no longer who she used to be. She’s become an ordinary high school girl—plain, overlooked, and the butt of everyone’s jokes.
Overweight. Bottom of the class. Abused by her stepmother. Framed by her younger brother. Mocked by teachers and students alike. Maybe the original owner of this body could endure it all—but she couldn’t.
They call her ugly? She’ll shed the weight, sculpt her body, and stun everyone into silence.
They call her stupid? Elite university presidents will fight to recruit her.
Top hackers will beg to learn her secrets.
Global financial tycoons will compete for her partnership.
This time, all she wants… is a quiet, ordinary life.
Yet as her true identity is revealed piece by piece, she rises—effortlessly—back to the very top of the world.
Chapter 1
On the rooftop of Wright Group Tower in Washington, chaos everywhere.
Evelyn Wright smashed the last piece of wooden stick in her hand. Finally exhausted, she was forced back to the edge of the rooftop.
And the one forcing her was none other than her half-sister, Molly Wright.
Everyone in Washington knew that the gambling tycoon Liam had two daughters. The younger daughter Molly had grown into a lovely young woman, talented in music, chess, calligraphy and painting - the dream girl of all the young elites in Washington. The older daughter Evelyn never appeared in public because she supposedly had autism.
But few people knew that Evelyn wasn't sick at all.
She was just sent to a remote island at age six for brutal training, becoming Wright Corporation's most lethal secret weapon. Over these ten years, she had secretly led Wright Corporation's assassin organization to eliminate countless tough opponents for her father, which was how the company maintained its polished image.
That's how Molly got to live her carefree life dressed in gold and silver.
But Molly didn't cherish it. She secretly abused alcohol and drugs, and eventually caused a disaster by killing the daughter of a military commander.
The gambling king couldn't afford to mess with military and political figures. The commander said that as long as the culprit confessed and accepted punishment, he could let bygones be bygones.
That very night, Evelyn received her father's order - assassinate the commander.
How difficult it was to kill a military commander - this mission was nearly suicidal, but she never disobeyed her father's orders.
But she never imagined that the so-called assassination mission was just her father's trap.
Her teammates who had fought alongside her for ten years died trying to save her, and she was once again tricked by her most trusted father into coming to this rooftop.
From the start, he planned to make her take the fall for Molly - no, not just take the fall, he wanted her dead!
"Dear sister, stop struggling. It's an honor for you to die in my place," Molly smiled smugly. "You can't figure out why, can you?"
"Father said that confessing isn't foolproof. Only a dead person's mouth can keep secrets."
A chill ran through Evelyn's heart. Her eyes swept over the bodyguards behind Molly and the assassins lying in ambush, but she knew Molly wasn't lying.
She had fought alongside these assassins for ten years - how could she not know their capabilities?
In her current physical state, there was no escape.
It seemed her father was really determined to kill her to cover for Molly.
Evelyn let out a heavy breath, her heart dead as ash, but when her eyes met Molly's smug gaze, they burst with intense mockery.
"I remember at your tenth birthday party, you tried to provoke me and I almost threw you out the window. You begged for mercy until your voice went hoarse, but afterward you changed your tune and said you'd get revenge." Evelyn climbed onto the rooftop ledge. She looked at Molly with contempt. "After all these years, this is your so-called revenge?"
The smile on Molly's face instantly vanished. She stamped her foot angrily and screamed, "Tie her up!"
The bodyguards quickly swarmed forward, and Evelyn seemed to have truly lost all her strength - she didn't struggle.
Only after she was tied up tight did Molly wave everyone away and walk forward arrogantly.
"Evelyn, go to hell!"
She copied what Evelyn had done years ago, trying to push her off the rooftop.
But instead of the expected begging, the next second, a pair of hands suddenly grabbed Molly.
Molly's pupils dilated sharply, looking in disbelief at Evelyn who had grabbed her tight.
"Dear sister, come to hell with me."
Evelyn's lips curved up, her smile as sinister as a demon crawling up from hell.
Once, in the most dangerous situation, she had freed herself from iron chains in five seconds - how could simple ropes hold her?
Since she couldn't escape, she'd take someone down with her.
Evelyn couldn't help but laugh thinking about her father's expression when he learned of Molly's death.
But the next second, the smile froze on her face.
A bullet went straight through her forehead.
In an instant, everything around her stopped moving, leaving only the blood drop from her forehead, falling onto layers of white snow.
"This station reports, Wright Corporation..."
"Patient's heart rate currently..."
Evelyn's eyes flew open to the blinding white of a hospital ceiling.
Noise surrounded her, but she precisely caught that sound source. Completely ignoring the IV needle in her hand, she leaped up and practically flew to the TV.
"Wright Corporation chairman, known to the outside world as 'the gambling king' Liam Wright, confirmed at today's press conference that his deceased eldest daughter Evelyn Wright was involved in multiple criminal cases and committed suicide out of fear. Second daughter Molly Wright is out of danger but remains unconscious. The relevant situation has been legally handled by the judicial department..."
Molly was alive, and she—
Evelyn looked at her hands in disbelief. These hands were white and chubby, not hers at all. And this body, so fat it probably couldn't climb over a wall...
The news said she was dead, so what was happening now?
"Evelyn Grant, what's wrong with you?" the nurse pushed her again.
She stepped back several steps warily, then suddenly rushed to the bathroom.
A completely unfamiliar face appeared in the mirror, and at the same time, memories that didn't belong to her flooded into her mind.
"Bang bang bang!" Knocking continued outside. Evelyn clutched her head that felt ready to explode, a tightly controlled groan escaping her throat.
After a long while, she raised her bloodshot eyes to look again at the face in the mirror that was completely different from her own.
She had actually transmigrated into this ordinary girl of the same age and with the same name.
Evelyn trembled as she pulled out the needle from her hand. Blood splattered, but it couldn't hide the intense hatred in her eyes.
Since heaven gave her a chance to start over, she wouldn't let either Molly or Liam go.
And the real cause of her death - that bullet...
Judging from the angle and speed of the bullet, it definitely wasn't an ordinary revolver, but more like a sniper rifle, and the sniper who operated it was no ordinary person either.
Never mind Molly - even Liam probably didn't have such connections.
Who was the person behind this, who not only knew Liam's plan but went to such great lengths to assassinate her...
Evelyn narrowed her eyes, lost in thought. She had a few suspects, but there were too few clues right now. If she could find the shell casing or confirm the wound on her body, she might be able to figure out the gun model.
Unfortunately, she didn't know where her body was now, or whether the scene had already been cleaned up...
"Evie, open the door!"
A woman's nagging knocking suddenly sounded outside. Evelyn rubbed her forehead, somewhat annoyed. But after a moment of silence, she still opened the door expressionlessly.
The woman's voice outside suddenly stopped, and she visibly shivered.
"Ev, Evie you..." She hesitated, unable to complete a full sentence for a long time.
The girl in front of her had no expression on her face, but her whole aura was completely different from before. Those usually timid eyes now carried a cold scrutiny that could pierce through souls, faintly revealing a murderous intent, like a demon crawling out of purgatory, filling the surrounding air with a rusty smell of blood.

Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.
I’m not here to rescue anyone.

Especially not someone like her.
She’s not my problem.

What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.

A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Invisible To Her Bully
Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
