Introduction
When it was Elsa's turn, she pointed at Hill's lower body. "Hill has a crescent-shaped birthmark. It's in a very private spot."
After saying this, Elsa collapsed onto the sofa laughing. Hill pretended to be angry, jumped up, and pounced on Elsa, smacking her on the butt.
I was frozen in shock. Hill's birthmark really was extremely private—you couldn't even see it without looking closely. I only discovered it myself after being married to him for a year.
Sensing my emotional shift, everyone stopped their roughhousing.
Elsa shrugged nonchalantly. "Zoe, don't overthink it. Before you got married, someone slipped Hill something once. I had no choice but to help him out. But don't worry, I promise he saved his first time for you."
Then she tapped her lips. "I used this place back then. Wore me out, honestly."
I felt my stomach churn violently and nearly threw up. Without thinking, I hurled my wine glass directly at Elsa.
"Sorry. Slipped. Just trying to help you rinse your mouth."
Chapter 1
On our third wedding anniversary, my husband Brandon Robinson invited a bunch of friends over for a party. Everyone was having fun playing games, and the rule was to reveal a private secret about someone there.
When it was Elsa Johnson's turn, she pointed at Brandon's lower body. "Brandon has a crescent-shaped birthmark right there, in a very private spot."
After saying this, Elsa collapsed on the sofa laughing. Brandon pretended to be angry, got up and pounced on Elsa, giving her butt a playful slap.
I froze. That birthmark of Brandon's was indeed very private - you really couldn't see it unless you looked carefully. I only discovered it a year after we got married.
Sensing my mood change, everyone stopped fooling around.
Elsa shrugged casually. "Zoey, don't overthink it. Before you two got married, someone drugged Brandon once, and I had no choice but to help him out. But don't worry, he definitely saved his first time for you."
Then she pointed at her own lips. "I used this back then - it wore me out."
I felt my stomach turn and nearly threw up. I threw my wine glass directly at Elsa.
"Sorry, my hand slipped. I was just trying to help you rinse your mouth."
Chapter One
Elsa screamed in shock: "Zoey, are you crazy!"
Brandon immediately grabbed tissues to clean Elsa up, and didn't forget to glare at me viciously.
"Zoey, it's just a game. Why are you throwing a fit!"
"A game?" I snorted coldly. "The game might be fake, but what she said is real. How long before we got married did this happen?"
I clearly felt Brandon's body stiffen. He impatiently threw down the tissue in his hand. "That's enough. It's our anniversary - do you have to ruin it? Apologize to Elsa now."
"I did nothing wrong, why should I apologize! That birthmark is in such a private spot, I don't believe she could have found it in just one time..."
"Enough!" Brandon roared, and a sharp slap echoed through the entire hall.
Everyone was shocked. I covered my burning face and looked at Brandon in disbelief. He actually hit me! In three years of marriage, this was the first time he'd laid a hand on me.
"Do you know how dangerous it was when I got drugged! If Elsa hadn't sacrificed herself to save me, I wouldn't even be standing here today."
Elsa carefully tugged at Brandon's sleeve. "Don't be angry, Brandon. It's all my fault. Don't let this little thing ruin your marriage."
Brandon's anger seemed to instantly disappear. He tenderly tucked Elsa's wet hair behind her ear. "Don't worry, I won't let you suffer any injustice."
The next second, Brandon kicked my knee. My legs buckled and he pressed down on my shoulder, forcing me to kneel before Elsa.
"You don't want to apologize? Fine! Then let Elsa get even!"
My knee hit the marble floor with a thud. The pain almost brought tears to my eyes. Before I could react, Brandon grabbed Elsa's hand, and a glass of wine slowly poured over my head.
Elsa panicked and let go of the glass. The shattered pieces exploded in front of me, some flying onto my arm and leaving bloody scratches.
But Brandon acted like he couldn't see it, lovingly cupping Elsa's face.
"Sorry you had to go through that. Feel better now?"
Elsa looked down at me, tears still on her face, but the corners of her mouth curved up slightly.
That expression was so quick, I almost thought I'd imagined it.
"Zoey, I'm sorry, this is all my fault. Please get up."
No one noticed that Elsa pulled my hand and pressed it onto the broken glass. The pain made me gasp.
Brandon pulled Elsa up, completely ignoring my bleeding palm. "You're my savior - what could you have done wrong!"
I endured the pain and slowly stood up. "Brandon, today you can only choose one of us - me or Elsa!"
Brandon froze, his eyes full of impatience at my unreasonableness.
In that moment, I understood everything. I turned and left without even grabbing my coat.
Someone urged Brandon, "Go after Zoey. It's so late, it's too dangerous for her to be out alone."
Brandon's cold voice came from behind. "Don't bother with her. She doesn't even have parents - where can she go without me?"
I paused mid-step. Brandon, you're wrong.
I do have parents. I just gave up my family to be with you.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
A Lesson in Magic
From Substitute To Queen
Heartbroken, Sable discovered Darrell having sex with his ex in their bed, while secretly transferring hundreds of thousands to support that woman.
Even worse was overhearing Darrell laugh to his friends: "She's useful—obedient, doesn't cause trouble, handles housework, and I can fuck her whenever I need relief. She's basically a live-in maid with benefits." He made crude thrusting gestures, sending his friends into laughter.
In despair, Sable left, reclaimed her true identity, and married her childhood neighbor—Lycan King Caelan, nine years her senior and her fated mate. Now Darrell desperately tries to win her back. How will her revenge unfold?
From substitute to queen—her revenge has just begun!
The Lycan Kings and the White Wolf.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
