Introduction
Chapter 1
“Ahhh!!!” she startles herself awake , she rubs her swaety hand on the sad of her face and feels the wetness around her forhead. She can feel her heart beat eratically and hear the ringing in her ear, as she brushes her fingers through her damp curls.
‘Again the nightmare’
She moves to lay on her side as she presses her face to the wet grass. She tries to breathe deeply and get her heartbeat under control. She barely sleeps but when she does she relives the same night and wakes up screaming. It's been two years since the incident but to her, it feels like it was yesterday. She often wonders why she hasn’t killed herself yet, it would be so easy to just die and finally have some peace.
‘What's the point of living anyway? I have nothing’ she asks herself constantly.
After she calms herself down she sits up and removes the leaves that fell on top of her. The shelter she created was good enough to cover herself from the pouring rain last night, Although she didn’t have enough time to add more leaves on the ground so she still got a bit wet. It’s better than the last place she slept. It was near the swamp and she almost got attacked by an alligator, only barely able to avoid her foot being choped on. Although luck has nothing to do with it, shes’ become a very light sleeper-when she can get some sleep in. It’s one of the ways her body has adapted in order to survive on her own. Last night was pouring so hard she could bearly see through the rain. She had found a giant tree that toppled over, it was perfect for hiding. She was looking up at the sun; taking in a deep breath when her stomach started growling.
‘Time for a hunt’
She doesn’t care much for what she eats, anything that will stop her stomach from growling will do. She took off the only clothes she had, quickly shifted into her wolf form and ran through the woods.
Her wolf loves it when she lets her take over and explore. The only reason she has been able to stay sane these past couple of years has been because of Nikita, and the feeling was mutual. After what they have gone through they have only each other to trust.
Nikita went through the woods sniffing and searching for her unlucky prey, using her natural hunting abilities. She had to learn on her own but with practice she hads become decent. The wolf inhaled deeply through her snout and looked at her surroundings trying to catch the scent of another animal, whatever animal it was, it would soon beunderneath her. As she ran through the woods feeling the fresh grass beneath her claws she soon caught the sight of a brown little thing hopping through the large field of grass.
Nikita honed in on the rabbit hoping further away as fast as it could and prepared herself. When she could see it clearly she launched forward as hard as she could and started running after it.
As she started to pick up her speed, she felt her mouth water as she got closer to the bouncing rabbit, already tasting it in her mouth. When she got closer she could hear its erratic heartbeat. By then it was too late soon she caught it in between her canines and snapped the head off with a loud crunch.
Satisfied with her quick catch Nikita layed on teh grass getting comdortable as she sank her teeth into the meaty flesh.
‘So what should we do today Niki?’ Aja asked, as she stayed in the background of her their mind, feeling the food nurishing them both.
Aja always felt like they were a team and all decisions were made together. Which is just another reason why she loved Nikita so much. Whatever questions she had, Nikita had the answers. Even the hard ones, she always brought it back to the Goddess Lynia, the mother of all werewolves. Nikita assured her that Lynia loved them and was always by their side. She was sure and Aja could feel the conviction from her wolf, Nikita was the only being Aja trusted.
‘We should just go back,’ Aja thought
Nikita protested wanting to run around abit more after she finished eating, the weather felt nice and breezing after the down our from last night and the sun was bright.
‘Ok, but only for a little while we don’t want to be out when it gets dark’
Nikita agreed and they ran around for a while smelling the fresh air and feeling the cool breeze on their fur. It really was wonderful to run freely without a care in the world. Nikita sped up, zig zagging through the trees looking up at the sun and feeling the warmth it provided. After a few hours of running around through the woods, Aja decided it was time they went back, she didn’t realize she had run so far from their little shelter and was feeling a bit anxious. Nikitas paws were light as they quietly went through the trees, making sure nobody was around before continuing on their path. This is what she loved about these woods, it was quiet and peaceful. Best of all it was void of people just her and the wild that surrounded her. There were a few times she heard voices of people hiking or site seeing. Even though this area is considered a national wildlife refuge and it's meant for people to visit, she was very well hidden. It's such a huge open area that she has made it her home, she wouldn’t mind staying here for a while. She is so greatful to be able to live within nature, better than the dark tunnels under the city or in abandoned homes, among other not-so-great places she’s had to hide in the past.
They finally got back and entered quickly, she shifted back to her human form and put on her clothes. The rest of the day went by like every other, she spent her time laying on the grass communicating with Nikita and going outside to find something else to eat before nightfall came around. She also added bark, sticks, and more leaves on the grass to lay on. For the most part, Aja and Nikita just enjoyed each other’s company thinking of randoms things and, discussions they would have in their mind. To a human, it would look like Aja was a deranged person. They would think about random things and make up stories about the life they wish they had. Aja didn’t like sleeping, she would get vivid flashbacks. She much rather stay up and think about other things. But unfortunately for her, within a few hours of laying on the grass and listening to the grasshopper’s chirping sounds, she fell asleep.

Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
