Introduction
But if anyone guesses it, you die.
Most contestants choose simple abilities: invisibility, teleportation, super strength. They begin dying within hours.
Evan Reed chooses something else.
He writes definitions. Exceptions. Appendices. Loopholes. Countermeasures. Hundreds of thousands of words that turn every sentence into a law of reality.
Now billions of viewers are trying to solve him, the system’s Judge has entered the game, and Evan is still typing.
Because his real weapon isn’t gravity control, conceptual erasure, or immortality.
It’s the fine print.
Chapter 1
Invent any power you want.

I was awakened by a harsh buzzing sound.
When I opened my eyes, there was a dark screen above my head, with red fonts popping out one by one, just like a hospital electrocardiogram. Every time it jumped, my temples hurt.
[Welcome to the 147th Rules Trial. ]
[You are participant No. 7 this year. 】
[Please read the following rules carefully. ]
I sat up with my support on the ground, surrounded by a pure white circular hall. The ground was like frosted glass, and a cold feeling came from the soles of my feet.
There are nine other people in the hall.
Some are wearing suits, some are wearing school uniforms, and some are wearing vests and underpants. There is a translucent blue light screen suspended in front of everyone, with a blank text box on it, and the cursor flashes.
I lowered my head and glanced at myself - plaid shirt, black-rimmed glasses, and there was still an unwashed instant noodle stain on my left wrist.
Okay, you won’t even let me change my clothes when I travel through time.
The screen above the head continues to jump:
[Rule 1: Each participant must write an ability in the editing box. ]
[Rule 2: Once the ability is submitted, it will take effect immediately without any restrictions on use. 】
[Rule 3: All participants will be monitored in real time by the public, and each participant will have an independent livestream. 】
[Rule 4: If any spectator correctly guesses the nature of a participant's ability, the participant will die immediately. ]
[Rule 5: There is no time limit for editing. 】
[Cannot be modified after submission. ]
I read these five rules three times.
The first time, I tried to understand them.
The second time, I shook.
The third time, I focused on the fifth item.
"There is no time limit for editing."
There is no word limit.
An idea detonated in my head.
The man in the suit to my left has started typing. He clicked twice on the light screen with his finger, and it was done in five seconds.
Two words were clearly written in his edit box——
"Invisibility."
Submit.
The light screen flashed and disappeared.
The man in the suit breathed a sigh of relief and flicked his wrist with a "That's it?" expression on his face.
The strong man in a sports vest on my right also submitted, four words——
"Physical Enhancement."
He is Marcus Hale, Participant No. 3. After submitting, he moved his neck twice, his joints cracked, and he grinned at me: "Man, what are you writing? Just finish it already."
I ignored him.
I stared at the blank editing box in front of me and started tapping with my fingers.
The first line——
"This ability (hereinafter referred to as 'the ability') is independently edited by Participant No. 7 Evan Reed (hereinafter referred to as the 'holder'). It takes effect immediately from the time of submission and is irrevocable, exclusive and self-executive. The complete definition of this ability shall be based on the full text of this document. Any explanation, speculation or summary of this ability shall not constitute a valid description of the essence of this ability unless the explanation is completely consistent word for word with the full text of this document."
Marcus Hale came over and glanced at my screen, and the smile on his face froze.
"You...what are you writing?"
"Disclaimer." I didn't even raise my head or stop pointing my finger.
"...?"
The second line——
"Article 1: Definition and Scope. 1.1 The core effect of this ability is: All descriptive statements written in the main text of this document, appendices, supplementary terms, footnotes, endnotes and all related texts will automatically become the effective rules of the world where the holder lives, provided they do not violate the internal logical self-consistency of this document. 1.2 The definition of 'descriptive statements' is shown in Appendix A. 1.3 The criteria for determining 'internal logical self-consistency' are shown in Appendix B."
Marcus Hale's mouth opened, but no sound came out.
He looked at his four-character superpower.
I looked at the densely packed terms and conditions on my screen again.
Her lips trembled.
"Brother, are you sick?"
I didn’t answer because I had already written item 17.
At this time, a clear tone sounded in the hall.
[Participant No. 1's ability "invisibility" has been correctly guessed by the audience. ]
[Participant No. 1——Death. 】
The man in the suit's body fell forward like a machine that had been unplugged.
It hit the frosted glass floor with a muffled sound.
Not moving.
The entire hall was quiet for three seconds.
Then, everyone’s livestream live chats exploded at the same time.
I glanced at the floating live chat window in my livestream with my peripheral vision, and the dense text flowed down like a waterfall——
"What does No. 7 say? It made me laugh so hard, hahahaha!"
"Brother, are you here to participate in the Rules Trial or to write your graduation thesis?"
"What the hell is Appendix A? This is a life and death game, brother!"
"I bet he won't survive the second round, just because of his IQ."
"Laughing to death, the funniest participant in the whole room, bar none."
I pursed my lips.
The speed of my fingers increased to 120 words per minute - this is the coding speed I have gained after eight years of working on the street.
By the time other participants had stood up and started looking at each other and discussing alliances, I already had three thousand words in my editing box.
When the system announced that the first scenario would be opened in twenty-four hours, there were twelve thousand words in my editing box.
When Marcus Hale came up to me for the fourth time and asked me, "How long are you going to write?"——
The word count in my edit box shows: 47,832 words.
I raised my head, rubbed my sore neck, and smiled at him.
"Just finished warming up."
How can I describe Marcus Hale’s expression?
It’s like a person walking into an examination room and discovering that other people’s test papers only have one page, while his own has eight hundred pages.
But the other way around.

Ria and the Balaur brothers never imagined how far their family would come.
After surviving betrayal, loss, and the lies that nearly destroyed everything they loved, they dedicated themselves to building a future. What began as a training facility for dragons soon grew into something far greater—a place where dragons and other species from around the world could learn, train, and thrive together.
Now the facility is flourishing. Their children have grown, many finding their own mates among dragons, shifters, and other species from distant lands. The family Ria fought so hard to protect has expanded beyond anything she once dreamed possible, bringing new friendships, new adventures, and a growing legacy of grandchildren.
As old secrets continue to surface, long-held beliefs about dragons and mixed-species bloodlines are being challenged. Truths buried for generations are finally coming to light, reshaping everything they thought they knew about their world.
The Rejected White Luna
"No... You can't do that."
Those words shattered Aria's world in front of the entire pack.
As the daughter of the Alpha of Silver Moon Pack, Aria was born with a powerful legacy. But with a weak wolf that could never shift, she became a disappointment in the eyes of her own people. She was mocked, ignored, and treated as a weakness instead of the future Luna she was meant to be.
She believed finding her fated mate would finally change everything.
Until Kael rejected her publicly and chose another.
"Because a mate who cannot shift is no mate at all. She's a weakness. And weakness spreads."
Broken but refusing to surrender, Aria leaves the only home she has ever known. But fate has a different plan waiting for her.
When she crosses paths with another powerful pack, Aria discovers a shocking truth: she has been given a second chance mate. The only problem? She never expected him to be someone who could change her entire destiny.
With a new bond awakening hidden powers within her, Aria is no longer the weak wolf everyone looked down on.
Now she has the chance to make those who hurt her pay.
But when Kael realizes the woman he rejected has become the one person he cannot lose, he wants her back.
Will Aria choose revenge, or will she find a love greater than the betrayal that destroyed her?
The Rejected Luna’s Rise
Luna Ariana Volkstane slid the formal rejection request across the table. "Let's end this bond. It's better for you, me, and your first love."
He just smirked. "You want me to reject you? You think you can break our bond that easily?"
So she did. Ariana cut ties with him completely, poured herself into her career, and rose to global fame as a legendary healer, her knowledge of rare herbs, wolf anatomy, and ancient magic sought after across continents.
The powerful suitors lined up. The Alpha of an overseas empire whispered, "Ariana, hurry up and perform the severing ritual. I can't wait to claim you." A powerful pack leader vowed, "I'll be there with you the day you break the bond." A legendary wolf attorney promised, "I'll handle your rejection case with the pack council myself."
Ariana just rubbed her temples. It's not that she didn't want the split, she wanted it more than anything, it's just that the Alpha she was mated to refused to let go.
Finally, she announced, "Whoever can officially get me rejected, I'll put you at the head table of my bond-breaking celebration."
Not long after, Alpha Damian was served the official rejection request right in the middle of an emergency pack council meeting. That same afternoon, he was attacked by rogues at the gates of his own territory.
When Ariana showed up at the pack infirmary with healing herbs, she repeated calmly, "Let's sever the mate bond. It's better for you, me, and everyone else."
But the cold, untouchable Alpha pulled her into his arms, his eyes blood-red with fury. "You want me to reject you? Over my dead body."
The mafia princess return
Invincible Upon Release: The Strongest Mage
Her family looked down on him, and even she herself said coldly: “You’re not worthy of being my husband.”
Everyone thought this newly released good-for-nothing was just a poor fool who’d taken the fall for his brother.
Thorne said nothing.
He merely raised his hand, gently pressing his bride’s forehead.
In an instant, the chaos in her eyes faded. Holy light surged from beneath the church, shooting into the sky.
The world’s only candidate for the Saintess, blessed with holy power, slowly opened her clear eyes before him.
The Devil’s Contract: Kiss Me Like A Lie
The air in the ballroom was suffocating, filled with the scent of expensive wine and predatory Alphas. I felt the familiar, terrifying burn start low in my stomach. My suppressants were failing. I am an Omega pretending to be a Beta, and my fiancé, Reign Montgomery, is a powerful Enigma who believes Omegas are nothing but weak whores.
I rushed to the restroom, locking myself in, praying the scent wouldn't leak. My hands shook as I dialed for help, but the door handle turned. Reign stood there. He didn't look at my face; he grabbed my wrist, pulling it to his nose, inhaling deeply. His dark, soulless eyes bore into mine. "You smell different," he whispered, his voice dangerously low. If he finds out what I really am, I’m dead.
Reign Montgomery promised himself he’d never get involved with an omega. Not romantically, not physically, not even by accident. He doesn’t trust them, doesn’t want them, and refuses to let anyone become a weakness.
Soren Fox has lived his whole life making sure no one ever learns what he truly is. An omega pretending to be a Beta, fighting in underground rings just to survive and keep his sister alive.
But one contract drags them into a dangerous partnership of lies, heat, and power, and when Soren is kidnapped, Reign realizes too late that the omega he never wanted has become the one person he can’t live without.

.
"I’m keeping her."
"What?"
Before I can react, he scoops her up. Her small body fits easily in the cradle of his talons. For a split second, she looks startled, but not afraid. Her hand rests against one scaled finger, and she stares up at him with that same curious wonder, as though she’s already forgotten she was ever meant to fear me.
"Put her down," I try to command, panic threading through my thoughts. "You’ll hurt her."
"She’s ours," the beast insists, possessive and fierce. "Our snowflake."
