Introduction
Chapter 1
Harper's POV
I knew it was bad news when Daddy called me into the office to talk.
When we want to discuss something nicely as a family, we do it around the dinner table. We don't get called into the office unless we are in trouble. As I followed Beta Zack through the pack-house, I felt that heavy sense of foreboding weighing me down. I saw a sort of pity in Zack's face when paused to let me catch up, and glanced back at me. I was already searching my mind, trying to think of what I might have done to get myself in trouble... but I'm really a pretty boring girl. I couldn't think of anything that might have triggered my father so badly that he would call me into the office...except for that accident.
We came to a stop in front of the heavy oak door. Zack knocked twice, and my father promptly called,"Enter!"
Zack opened the door, and stood aside for me to precede him into the room. It was so formal, it felt all wrong. And then he closed the door again, shutting me inside with my father. Daddy was hunched at his desk, and he didn't look happy. His handsome face was haggard, and somehow, he looked older today than he had just a few days ago. "Sit down, Harper."
I limped to one of the leather wing backed chairs that faced his desk. I didn't limp because I had bad legs, just because I'm still having a hard time with the morning sickness.
I sank gingerly down on the leather, sitting on the very edge, because somehow it didn't feel safe to relax. Daddy wasn't looking at me... he was looking at papers on his desk.
He cleared his throat several times, as if he was struggling to find the right words. When he looked up, his face had hardened, and when he spoke, he spoke with his firm Alpha voice. Not his Daddy voice. That made me shrink back further into the chair.
"Harper, as part of the treaty negotiations with the River Bed Pack, I have agreed to a marriage alliance. You, Harper Laurier, will marry the Alpha's son, Wyatt Elliot on the next new moon."
I felt like someone had punched me, knocked the air out of me. "What? Daddy! How could you??" I ,whispered in shock. Arranged marriages were an archaic thing of the past. Nobody did that any more, did they?
My father's expression turned pained. "I did it for the sake of our pack, Harper. I tried to protect you, but you're having their Alpha heir. We are small and vulnerable, and we can't say no to them...This political alliance will ensure our safety and survival. This is a good opportunity for us..."
I felt so many emotions whipping through me, I couldn't grab a hold of them.
“But I don't remember what happened that night! I just want to raise my baby alone. If you want to take advantage of this chance, you have other options...” I had one older sister, who was smart and strong, and was the heir of Alpha. Neither of us had found our mates,we were all single and available.
I was almost sure if the Alpha had ever seen the three of us, he wouldn't choose me as his heir's mother. I am the most ordinary, nondescript, and insignificant of the Alpha's daughters...except for my fault. It hit me like a slap in the face.
Without my father answering me,I knew why he had sacrificed me. I'm the weak one. I'm the expendable one. And I'm the one who lost her virginity and became the humiliation of the pack...
"Its not what you think, Harper." My father said quietly. "It has nothing to do with your.. condition." He never knew quite how to refer to my fault but I knew everyone in my pack have cursed me behind my back. My father didn't elaborate further, and that irritated me.
"Don't I get a say in this? Don't you need my consent before you sell me off "for the sake of the pack"? What if I refuse?"
My father's face blanched for a moment, and then darkened. "If you refuse, I will disown you, and you will be exiled from the pack for your premarital preg."
His words hit me like a slap in the face. My own father would throw me out of the family and out of the pack and make me go rogue? Who was this man, behind the desk? Surely this wasn't my Daddy. He wouldn't have done this to me.
I felt a hot tear run down my cheek, and I could only think, if Mama had been here, she never, ever would have allowed him to do this to me. But she was locked up in her room a long time ago, and I haven't seen her for a long time.
For a few moments I seriously considered the option of refusing and being exiled. I didn't really stand a chance, as a lone she-wolf without a pack. I wasn't physically strong as usual with this baby, but more importantly...I couldn't stand the idea of marrying a stranger. That night was chaotic and I was drugged, I don't know anything about this Alpha.
This thought broke my heart. His responsibilities as Alpha had to come first... even if it meant sacrificing his own daughter. Although everything inside me was raging against it,l had to obey his order. Not only for him, but for the pack that I loved.
My shoulders slumped forward in defeat. I could no longer meet his eye,and stared down at my toes instead. I couldn't find the words to speak, so I simply nodded.
I didn't see his face, but I could hear the relief in his voice. I wonder if he'd secretly been worried that I would actually choose exile over a forced marriage. But when he spoke, it was the heartless, stern, Alpha voice again. "You will pack up your things. You will leave tomorrow in the morning."
My head jerked up. "So soon? But you said, on the new moon?"
"I said the marriage would take place on the new moon. The alpha has requested you to come immediately. Emma will come and help you pack" He shuffled the papers on his desk, as if they were suddenly more important than his daughter. "You are dismissed."
Dismissed? I don't ever remember my father speaking to me like that...like I was some underling to order about.
I made my way back to my room in a stupor, passing pack members in the hall but not really seeing anyone, or hearing their greetings. I shut the door in my room and managed to lean back against it before the strength left my legs and I sank to the floor. Being forced to marry a stranger was bad enough, but it had deeper, more far reaching implications.
I would be forever tied to a man I didn't love, and I would never get to experience the joy and completion of finding my mate.
That's what every wolf longed for, as soon as they came of age. To find your goddess-given soul mate, the magical person who would complete you and make you whole. All happiness and satisfaction was tied up in that one, fated person. And I would be denied it, forever. Great big tears of self pity rolled down my cheeks as I absorbed the unfairness of it all.
After awhile a knock came at the door, and Emma, a sweet little omega who worked in the pack house poked her head in. "I was told to come assist you, Miss Harper." I sighed and hauled myself to my feet. I might as well resign myself to my miserable fate.
"I need to pack,"' I said dully. "I'm leaving in the morning."
"Oh, of course." She was too submissive to dare to ask where or why. I wondered if my sisters knew already, or if they were being kept in the dark too. I wasn't sure I could face themn right now. I pulled two suitcases out of my closet that I had only used once when mother took us on a trip to Mexico. "What exactly do you want to pack?"
I sighed and pulled open my drawers."Just the absolute essentials Emma,"I said, pulling out my favorite clothes and throwing them on the bed. I was a no-nonsense kind of girl when it came to fashion. I wondered idly if there would be a real wedding dress for this farce of a marriage, or if we were just going to stand before the officiant in our street clothes while it was made legal.
I looked around my room, trying to gauge what other things I needed to take. I slipped my mother's delicate porcelain jewelry box into the bag. There was my leather bound journal, and my laptop. Other things seemed too childish to take to your marriage home.. like the old, worn stuffed bear that had graced my pillow since I was six years old.
After adding in the practical toiletries and other necessities,l sighed and declared the work finished. I felt a little sad that the entire of my 19 years of life could so easily be condensed into two suitcases, and another fat tear rolled down my cheek.
I'd never felt so worthless and unloved in all my life. But now I had to face the facts. My own father considered me expendable. The River Bed Pack had demanded a bride with their heir, and I had been, quite literally, thrown to the wolves.
I thanked Emma for her help, and quietly closed the door behind her. My suitcases were standing neatly by the door. I grabbed my old, well loved teddy bear and curled up on the bed,and tried to shut my mind to all the hurt and all the worries that were eating at me. My mother would have said,"Chin up,sweetheart. Face the world head-on."Thinking of my sweet mother only made me cry harder, until I fell into an exhausted sleep.

"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Invisible To Her Bully
From Substitute To Queen
Heartbroken, Sable discovered Darrell having sex with his ex in their bed, while secretly transferring hundreds of thousands to support that woman.
Even worse was overhearing Darrell laugh to his friends: "She's useful—obedient, doesn't cause trouble, handles housework, and I can fuck her whenever I need relief. She's basically a live-in maid with benefits." He made crude thrusting gestures, sending his friends into laughter.
In despair, Sable left, reclaimed her true identity, and married her childhood neighbor—Lycan King Caelan, nine years her senior and her fated mate. Now Darrell desperately tries to win her back. How will her revenge unfold?
From substitute to queen—her revenge has just begun!
Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
The mafia princess return
Badass in Disguise
"Jade, I need to check your—" the nurse began.
"OUT!" I snarled with enough force that both women backed toward the door.
Once feared by Shadow Organization that drugged me to replicate my abilities into a more controllable version, I had escaped my restraints and detonated their entire facility, ready to die alongside my captors.
Instead, I woke up in a school infirmary with women arguing around me, their voices piercing my skull. My outburst froze them in shock—clearly they hadn't expected such a reaction. One woman threatened as she left, "We'll discuss this attitude when you get home."
The bitter truth? I've been reborn into the body of an overweight, weak, and supposedly dim-witted high school girl. Her life is filled with bullies and tormentors who've made her existence miserable.
But they have no idea who they're dealing with now.
I didn't survive as the world's deadliest assassin by allowing anyone to push me around. And I certainly won't start now.
Accidentally Crossing the Tycoon
Four years ago, the Bailey family faced a devastating financial crisis.
Just when bankruptcy seemed inevitable, a mysterious benefactor emerged, offering salvation with one condition: a contract marriage.
Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
