Chapter 1
Shit, I had been so excited about finally seeing Adam again. I packed everything and arrived two days early. Just to find out how my mate had exactly been enjoying his time, The evidence hit me like a brick wall. Honestly, I should have seen something coming. He had seemed a bit distant for the last few months but I thought he was just tired from the late nights at the office. After all, it was his idea for me to leave Essex and move into London with him as it was. Closer to his pack and family even though leaving my pack's burial grounds killed me but I still left for him. Especially since I had a positive test a few weeks ago and the excitement was bubbling from me since I hadn't been able to reach him. We had always wanted a family but he hadn't wanted to mate Mark until we had moved into the packhouse.
Right now, all I can do is grab his bedroom door frame and slam my hand over my mouth to stop the sobs leaving my throat as the tears roll down my face. The brunette is the first to move rolling off Adam's body.
His black is tousled and scratch marks over his tattooed chest. His eyes were still hooded with lust and a hickey on his shoulder and his erection was painfully obvious. The brunette quick launching at me with superhuman-like speed grabbing my head and pulling me backwards against her naked body before I even registered what was happening she had a knife to my throat.
My stomach plummets to the floor. "Fuck,"
How has wanting to surprise my mate with the fact I'm pregnant deteriorated to being held at knifepoint by a woman?
“Please,” I rasp “Put down the knife."
She hisses through her teeth at me in response pushing the knife deeper against my skin.
" Eliza, knife down. now,” Adam growled at her his voice sounding feral and animalistic. Eliza? As in The Eliza that's married to Damian, his brother?
I remember seeing them once on the day id met Adam. I attended a small banquet for charity last year and had only been a passing glance.
"You don't want to kill my merchandise after all. " Adam smirks at me his sweet almond smell making the bile rise in my stomach, merchandise? Is that what I am to him? Some product?
He looks and me his eyes turning cold and hardened "Why?" The tears streamed down my face everything in the last year had been a lie and id loved a man who had been nothing more than an act.
"Why, it's simple." He says locking his eyes with me as he strolled across the room. " You are worthless with nothing to offer No one has ever wanted you apart from that pitiful pack of yours that got slaughtered, but you do have a slight allure of being a female alpha, do you know how many alphas would pay for merchandise like you? You are going for top dollar and you're going to make me rich. "
I squeeze my hand into a ball and dig my nails into my palms to keep from crying like a baby.
" Did you think I didn't know about that mistake growing in your stomach? " His face contours into an ugly smirk.
"We could dispose of it quick,” Eliza says voice so deep it sounds like a growl. “That way, she won’t go down in value,"
My head screamed at me to run sending my adrenaline into overdrive. I elbow. Eliza got away with a small cut along my chin as I pivot and sprint down the hallway. Fuck why couldn't Adam have lived in a small flat like me? I wasn't used to a house this size the stupid thing was bigger than my Apartment Complex. my hand slips over the cold metal of the bannister as my shoes squeak at the stairs. Just as my hand reaches for the Door handle I fill my body being tugged back by the Sharp Sensation.
“ Eliza, I told you to leave her” Adam bellows, making the fine hairs on the back of my head stand on end. Terror quickens my pulse. Did I just get stabbed?
I stumble on my feet fall onto my knees a try and shove aside my mounting panic as I try and focus on getting out I can see Elise pulling away from me and going towards Adam and I fumble for my car keys my fingers closing around the cold metal fumble for my car keys. My fingers close around the cold metal, I pushed to my knees then my feet and I reach for the door handle again when I feel something hard and heavy slam into my body pinning my back against the door a shock wave of pain explodes and my body radiate him from the wound of my back and all the breath leaves my lungs in a grunt he has his hand wrapped tightly around my neck He glares down at me, his eyes arctic. “Where do you think you’re going?” The force of his cold rage freezes me to the spot. I’m trapped in his icy stare.
“Let me go,” I stutter. “you know I can't do that” he growls. Tears prick the backs of my eyes.
I’m not delusional or weak, It should be me who’s furious—not him. Frustration and rage mingle with my terror, making me swallow back a surge of nausea. Up until now, he was so focused on building our future. Adam never showed any interest in other women apart from me he scented me out, and he said we were mates. I can see the cogs turning behind his eyes and then something I’m not quite sure of clicks into place
Everything about this man screams deception. His touch burns my skin like hot knives, and his words infuse my wounds with salt. I pull at my arms, trying to loosen his grip, but he’s too strong.
"This will make the pain fade.sleep well little alpha."

Instead, my fingers curled into his shirt, clutching the fabric as though it was my only anchor. Something in him snapped—something he had been holding back for too long. His mouth found mine in a kiss that wasn't tender, but hungry, desperate.
I gasped into him, his hand sliding up to cup my jaw, holding me as if afraid I might vanish.
"You drive me insane," he breathed against my mouth, his lips trailing to my throat. "I can't lose you, Ella. Not you."
My head fell back, a soft sound escaping me as his fingers memorized my waist. My anger melted beneath his desperation.
"James..." I whispered, more plea than protest.
His hand caught mine, fingers threading together tightly. "I'll bring him back. I swear it. Just... don't turn away from me. Please."
The word please—low, ragged, almost broken—undid me more than anything else could have.

Kane feels it. His grip tightens, punishments turn brutal, and he hides the truth of what I am.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
They'll Regret This
My fiancé didn't just dump me—he proposed to her that same night. My so-called family handed me bus fare and a one-way ticket to the countryside.

The undefeated shadow queen of the underground fighting circuit. And the true heiress to a fortune that makes theirs look like pocket change.
Now my ex-fiancé begs on his knees. My fake sister's jealousy is eating her alive. And that cold, arrogant CEO who once threw our engagement contract in my face? He's hunting me down like a man possessed, desperate for one more chance.
They threw me away like trash to upgrade their lives.
Joke's on them.
I was always the upgrade.
