Hanson Joy · Ongoing · 50.4k Words
Introduction
Elena, a werewolf who hasn’t wolfed out yet, was mistreated and maltreated by her own pack and family, and worse, her sister despised and hated her for no reason at all.
She gets even more dissatisfied with her life when the Alpha of a Great Pack rejects her as his mate and accepts her sister instead. His reason? She wasn’t up to his standard, and he wouldn’t want to associate with a low life.
What happens when the moon goddess gives her a new mate, a far more dreaded and wealthy one, mocking all those who despised, abandoned, and rejected her?
The story takes another twist as Elena doesn’t accept or recognise him as her mate. She was too broken to even see or understand that her mate was right in front of her.
Will he be able to love Elena as expected and bring her out of the misery she has accepted as her reality? Or will he further make her life more miserable than her previous mate?
Chapter 1
Chapter 1
Sabrina's day was like no other, waking up early before the sun ascended in the sky to go look for food with her father before the Aliens filtered the whole place. This was the life humans had been subjected, to their whole lives, enveloped in fear and trepidation.
"Sabrina... Sabrina, snap out of it. What are you thinking about?" Logan's voice rang out.
"Oh my!" Sabrina let out. "I'm so sorry father." She apologized sincerely.
"How long was I zoned out for?" Sabrina muttered I saw her breath.
"We don't have much time left, Sabrina. We have to move out before the Aliens surround the whole place, by then, it will be too late for us to run." Logan let out.
"Right father...but...but what if the Aliens are already in the forest, the war is far from over and is blowing hot."
"That's nonsense talk, Sabrina, you and I know that the aliens are most active at night and now is our best chance to go out and source for food, at least to stay alive while we can...we are still going to die one or another," Logan said, looking up ahead and trying to hide the immense pain he felt from making its way to his voice.
Sabrina's eyes bulged as her father's words sank in. He was right; they were all going to die one way or another. Sabrina recalled that all the people she knew had all died at the hands of the aliens or were captured by them to be used as slaves for their Alien king.
Anger and resentment burned in her chest toward the aliens, but there was nothing she could do about it, she was stuck in this loophole. She stared at her father's face, trying to read his expression and get a hand at what was going through his mind but her efforts were futile.
Her father's expression was indiscernible unless there were in the face of danger. But Sabrina could make out one thing that was running through her father's thoughts; how they would gather up enough food to last them till the aliens got back.
"How long will you two be gone?" Kate wheeled herself into the room, breaking both father and daughter's train of thought.
"I'm not sure, but in case we do not return... please do not come to look for us," Logan said, the last sentence dripping with dread and fear. This was the only way for them to survive. Logan thought it was wiser that they died while striving to survive than to wait and let death come to them instead when they knew that death was just a stone's throw away.
"Okay!" Kate swallowed the bile in her throat before she responded.
Sabrina's face fell onto the floor as beads of sweat gathered on her forehead. "I don't want to do this!" She muttered to herself in fear.
"Did you say something, darling?" Kate asked with concern etched in her tone.
"Yes, mother!" Sabrina let out as she turned to face her mother. "I said, I don't want to do this anymore. I'm tired of living like this, I'm tired that we're always risking our lives!" She yelled out but stopped for a moment to catch her breath.
"Why can't our death come to us, why do we always have to chase after it? What difference would it make if we died tomorrow instead of right now?!"
"Keep your voice down, any alien lurking around might hear you!"
"And so what mother, are we not meant to die by their hands anyways?"
"Don't talk like that, Sabrina!"
"Let her be, Kate. It's the truth, it'll do us no good to keep it concealed anymore." Logan said and wiped the sweat from his forehead.
"C'mon, Sabrina, let's go before the aliens come," Logan said, putting his sweaty palms on his daughter's shoulders.
Sabrina shook his hands off her shoulder and made her way out of the house. Logan and Kate watched on until her back disappeared from their sight.
Kate let out a deep sigh when Sabrina was out of sight. "I don't want to lose our daughter..." She trailed off as she covered her face with both palms.
"You won't...at least not today," Logan said.
Kate gasped, her face shooting up to meet her husband's gaze. "What?!" Kate asked, her eyes bulging in anguish.
"Wait up for us, will you... we'll be back before you know it." Logan said and made his way inside to grab his gun. He stuffed it into his pocket before making his way out of the house to join Sabrina.
"Well, I'll be damned if they don't return," Kate said, clutching her chest.
The door opened again and Logan walked in. Kate gasped for the umpteenth time as she traced her husband with her eyes. Her eyes seemed to ask why he was back in there.
"I came to grab a sack, just in case, we get to see enough food to last us for the rest of the week," Logan said for clarification and made his way out of the house.
"Sabrina, wait up!!" He called after his daughter.
"Please let them make it back home today." Kate prayed silently in her heart as she wheeled herself back into the room. She had barely made her way across the room when she heard a loud explosion.
"Oh my god, no!" Kate yelled as she turned around and wheeled herself to the door. Kate's fingers trembled as she stretched them toward the door when suddenly she remembered her husband's words.
".....In case we do not return... please do not come to look for us."
"No, no, no. I can't possibly let that happen!" Kate yelled out as her face contorted in anguish.
"My family, I can't just watch and let them die this way!" Kate yelled as she tried to open the door but another explosion came, throwing her out of her wheelchair.
"Damn it!" Kate cursed as she tried to get up from the floor. "I need to reach them." She added.
She struggled to get up from the floor but her efforts were futile. She cursed at herself for being so weak and the fact that she was crippled and couldn't do anything to save her family only fueled her frustration.
"Damn it!" She yelled out curses, slamming her hands on the floor. She dragged herself across the floor until she got to the door. Severe pains coursed through her legs as she walked but she ignored them and continued to make her way forward, the zeal to get to her family only diminished the pain that she felt.
"I must get to them, I can't just sit back while they are out there crying to be rescued."
The floor began to tremble and Kate could tell that another explosion was coming and it was going to hit big. She held onto the floor, closed her eyes, and gritted her teeth, waiting to hear the explosion.
After a few minutes, she opened her eyes and looked around the room, her sweat pouring onto the ground as she looked around.
"What happened, why didn't it come?!" Kate said but before she could get all the words out, another explosion came, sending the door flying in her direction.
"Noooo!"

On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
