Introduction
Chapter 1
Winslet Reed had three ribs broken by the caregiver Nina Price sent. She was stabbed over twenty times.
While she still had consciousness, Julian Reed and Jay Reed, her brothers, decided to pull the plug.
Her oxygen tube was removed. Her heart rate gradually weakened.
The nurses' voices drifted into her ears.
"Such a shame. If they'd kept treating her, she could've made it."
"Her family's heartless. She didn't even need the amputation, but they said she bullied her sister and insisted on teaching her a lesson."
"Her brother not only gave up on treatment—he signed the organ donation forms..."
What? She didn't need the amputation? She could have been saved?
Julian and Jay wanted her dead.
Winslet tried to struggle, but her body wouldn't obey. She could only feel, in helpless despair, her chest cavity being cut open, her organs removed.
Kidneys. Heart. Corneas.
While she still had vital signs, every organ that could be harvested was taken. Nothing left but an empty shell.
Why? She was their blood, yet Nina got to enjoy twenty years of the life that should have been hers.
Giving up everything for Nina wasn't enough. For Nina's sake, her family humiliated her, tortured her, abandoned treatment, and let her die in despair.
Hatred and grief tangled together. Before death, Winslet shed her last tears.
God, I'll trade my soul for this.
The pain they gave me—I'll return it a hundredfold.
...
Time passed. Or maybe it was just an instant.
When Winslet regained consciousness, the roar of an engine pounded in her ears. Searing pain shot through her left leg.
She opened her eyes to find herself pinned in a race car seat, the safety belt cutting into her body, the roll cage crushing her left leg.
This was... the crash that destroyed her leg.
What's happening? Was she reborn?
The acrid smell made her want to vomit. Everything felt unbearably real.
Suddenly, Jay's icy voice came through the phone. "Winslet, have you lost your mind? Why did you ram Nina's car? Get out and apologize. Now."
Winslet's whole body trembled. She looked down at her hands—intact, fingers unbroken.
She glanced at the rearview mirror. In the reflection, she wore her helmet, her face unmarred by ugly scars.
She really was reborn. Back before the tragedy happened.
Jay's impatience peaked. "Are you deaf? Get out and apologize to Nina!"
Winslet turned toward the window. Not far away, Julian stood with Nina crying in his arms.
Nina kept her head down, but her eyes shot a provocative look at Winslet.
In her past life, Nina's taunting had worked.
Winslet had demanded to know why Nina framed her, screaming "I didn't hit her," begging Julian and Jay to believe her, to save her.
But no one believed her. They thought she was lying, faking the pain to dodge responsibility.
She'd called her fiancé Cedric Locke for help. He'd told her she deserved it.
Winslet's left leg bled continuously. Only after her face turned deathly pale and she passed out from the pain did Julian and Jay finally have someone drag her out.
When she woke up, her leg was gone.
Afterward, no one checked the surveillance footage. No one listened to her explanation.
Everyone believed Nina. They thought Winslet had hit her, that losing a leg was what she deserved.
Because Nina's father had died on the track for the racing team, Nina was the "hero's daughter"—gentle, thoughtful, tearful.
And Winslet, the Reed family's biological daughter, was nothing but a "vicious, jealous monster" in their eyes.
In her past life, she'd kept waiting for Julian and Jay to save her.
This life? She'd save herself.
Winslet took a deep breath, forcing herself through the agony in her left leg, reaching for the safety belt buckle.
Everything hurt, but her hands didn't stop.
The buckle released.
She kicked the deformed car door open with her right leg and tumbled to the ground.
Her knees scraped raw, her palms bled, but her left leg still moved.
She braced herself against the door and stood. Cold sweat streamed down her temples.
Jay saw her emerge and frowned. "You're fine. Were you just putting on a show?"
Winslet didn't answer. She just removed her helmet. Blood ran down her forehead, blurring her left eye.
Blood? Jay froze for a second, lifting his hand as if to wipe it away.
Nina spoke up, her voice wounded. "Winslet, I know you hate me, but I never thought you'd hate me enough to ram my car..."
Julian looked at her with disappointment. "Winslet, apologize. Starting today, you're grounded. Nina gets your spot in the race. That's your penalty."
Winslet stared at Julian and Jay.
In her past life, they'd authorized her amputation. In the end, they'd even pulled the plug and donated her organs.
She'd thought Nina had deceived them. Turns out she was the one deceived—by family. She'd given them everything, including her life.
Winslet's lips moved. Old habits almost made her explain.
The words reached her mouth, then she laughed bitterly. What good would explaining do?
She'd explained her whole life. Would they ever believe her?
Just then, a tall man rushed over.
Cedric. The man Winslet had loved for ten years, the one she'd begged her parents for three years to arrange an engagement with.
He didn't even glance at Winslet. He went straight to Nina, grabbing her hand and checking her over carefully.
After confirming Nina was unharmed, he turned around, eyes blazing with fury. "Winslet, you're disgusting."
"That necklace was a gift I gave Nina. What right do you have to be angry? You've had everything your whole life. Nina has nothing. Instead of looking after her, you tried to run her down. How vicious can you be?"
Looking at Cedric's cold, contemptuous expression, Winslet felt numb. In her past life, hearing those words had shattered her.
She'd begged him to believe her. He'd said, "Winslet, you make me sick."
Memory and reality overlapped.
Staring at that face she'd once loved and hated, Winslet spoke firmly. "Cedric, you gave my engagement gift to someone else. Our engagement is over."
Instant silence.
Cedric froze. Nina froze. Jay and Julian both froze.
Everyone knew how much Winslet loved Cedric.
To marry him, Winslet had agreed to every condition, pleaded with her father.
To help Cedric inherit his family business, she'd handed over all the shares her grandfather left her.
Now she was calling off the engagement?
Cedric's expression shifted. Then he sneered. "What game are you playing now? You hit Nina, then announce you're breaking our engagement. You think this'll get my attention? Pathetic."
Julian frowned too. "Stop changing the subject. Apologize to Nina. Now."
Jay was more direct. "You haven't embarrassed yourself enough? Apologize, or we won't forgive you."
Apologize? Forgiveness? Forget it.
Winslet looked at those three familiar faces and felt her disappointment crystallize. No one cared if she lived or died. No one believed her.
All they did was berate her, vent their anger.
Winslet raised her hand and pointed at the surveillance camera. "That camera still works. If you're not blind, check the footage. After that, I'm sending the recording to the police."
Hearing this, Nina's face changed. "Winslet, we're family. Do we really need to make this ugly? It's okay if you don't apologize..."
Winslet let out a cold laugh. "Who's family with you? Do we share blood?"
"The injuries I suffered today, all the damage to the team's equipment—I'm getting every penny back."

Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.

"Yes, Alpha," I pulled my dress over my body, it dropped over my head and fell to the ground behind me. I was left in nothing but my matching bra and thong. My hands covered my chest on reflex.
"Let me see."
My hands dropped to my sides.
I lowered myself into his lap, facing him. His eyes peered into mine, and I could feel his hot breath fan my face. His dick responded to all my moves, hardening against my now-moist vagina. I swallowed hard, allowing my lips to part in a ragged breath. His hands trailed up to my waist.
"No touching."
