Sexy Dirty Grinder (Book 1 of Legacies of the Fortuna Nike)
FM Publishing · Ongoing · 38.2k Words
Introduction
Soon after catching her boyfriend fucking her mentor, the Fortuna Nike informs her of the rules and conditions of her scholarship that weren’t even hidden in the fine print: an arranged marriage with whatever member they choose.
If she complies, her brother’s freedom is guaranteed. It should be an easy decision, but the thought leaves her shaking with dread.
Just as she resigns herself to the demands of the Fortuna Nike, Dorian Knox, a well-known playboy of the Fortuna Centurions, approaches her with a mutually beneficial—if insulting—offer: pretend to date him and bypass the Society’s matchmaking.
Unfortunately, Dorian is also the asshole who got her fired.
Dorian knows what he looks like, what he drinks like, what he fucks like, and most importantly, what he plays like. He revels in every wild party and vicious check into the boards as it’s the closest he’ll ever get to telling the Society to fuck off.
After his center’s high school sweetheart romance falls apart, the Society decides that Dorian needs a rebrand to help manage the fallout of the Centurions’ image. Threatened with losing everything he’s worked for and the freedom of his younger sister, he decides to play along… to the very letter of the Society’s laws.
He just needs a woman to play at being his girlfriend who won’t catch feelings and will do as she’s told.
The irritatingly no-nonsense maid who sets his blood on fire will have to do.
Chapter 1
"Time's almost up, but I know you've got to get to work. I love you, Lyd."
Lydia forced the smile to stay on her face, kept her voice light, and avoided the newest black eye and the slow-healing cut on Quillan’s lip. He’d grown paler from the lack of sunlight and buzzed his hair down to the scalp again, too.
She bet someone had pulled him around by it again. Maybe it had attracted the wrong kind of attention. Again. New guards? His cellmate? Someone else? She didn’t know. Quillan never gave her specifics. He couldn’t without risking more trouble, and he was too exotic-looking to stay out of trouble no matter what he did.
Where she had inherited more of their mother’s looks in the dark tone of her skin and her frame, Quillan had taken on a lot more of their sperm donor’s looks. He had a much lighter skin tone than she did, nearly light tan in the winter, a slim waist, and though he’d put on a lot of muscle over the years in jail, she knew that it did him little to no good against the kind of prisoners he was with in Statesville.
Real murderers.
Her eyes burned. Her stomach churned, threatening a revolt. She swallowed the burning bile and held her smile in place.
Keep it together, Lyd’.
Maybe she could pick up another shift at the Bar.
"I love you, too, Quill’. I'll coordinate with grandpa not to hog all of your visitation."
Quillan laughed, low and a little wry. Was his voice cracking on the edge? His voice trembled a little.
“Let the old man have his kicks.”
The call disconnected, taking all the air from her lungs and most of her strength with it. She swayed forward until her forehead rested against the cold metal of her locker. A tremor ran through her, and she smothered the whimper clawing its way out of her. Smothering the sound behind her hand, she forced her stomach to settle and her legs to bear her weight.
She didn’t have time to wallow or sink right now. Her shift started in about ten minutes. Ten minutes to change and get across the lawn to her assignment.
Ten minutes? She could do it in seven.
Sucking in a breath, she shook off the despair, dried her eyes, and opened her locker. Her own dark brown eyes looked back at her, slipping over the high, round cheekbones and the light brown skin dotted with freckles. She grabbed her brush and swiped a bit more gel through her hair to tame the flyaways threatening to turn back into curls.
Her flat iron had finally given out on her this morning while she’d been going over her budget. She had to make the last pass she’d managed last for as long as possible, but this time of the year, the island’s humidity made that nearly impossible.
She’d have to come up with the money for a new one sooner rather than later. Her straightened hair was the only reason she still had her job. Her supervisor thought she was Hispanic and looked for any reason to fire her that she could get away with. If she knew Lydia was half-Black, she wouldn’t try to be half as sneaky about it and just outright fire her.
She swabbed Shea butter over her lips and huffed. She was down to the last of it, like her gel, her lotion, and most other necessities she couldn’t afford to replace right now.
It was impossible to hate her sperm donor more, she was sure, but in moments like this, she wondered if there was some undiscovered space for more fury.
A glance at the time, said she didn’t have time to think more about it.
She threw her bag inside, grabbed her apron, and locked the locker again, hustling to the time station. Grabbing the tablet, the keys, and a fresh cup of coffee with cream and sugar, she darted to her assigned golf cart full of cleaning supplies with a whole five minutes to spare and took off.
The first taste of the ultra-fancy coffee the Fortuna Resort kept for the staff jolted her awake. The cool, humid breeze of the early morning cooled her skin as she drove to the Knox Villa.
Knox had owned it since Lydia had started working for the Resort. It was the first and only villa she’d been assigned. She like to think it was because she was quick and efficient, but she figured out that hockey villas were reserved for staff whom they wanted to quit.
They were all several steps past superstitious and very particular, but with they paid to own a piece of the Resort, could anyone blame them?
She tapped her foot and rolled her shoulders as she reached the charging station beside the villa. The car parked in the driveway was as crooked as ever, but she really hoped he wasn’t there.
She’d been lucky to never run into him. She didn’t want that to change today. Her stupid had-to-be-pristine white maid shoes were hard from all the white paint she’d coated them with to make them last a little longer, and she was pretty sure her supervisor was going to call her out about it.
Knox would probably throw a fit at the sight of them, and losing this job wasn’t an option right now.
She’d just barely made enough to pay for all of her books and supplies for the semester and could start contributing meaningfully to Quillan’s legal fees. With a bit of luck, the next leg of her marketing campaign would increase her sales traffic, and she could get them to the retainer amount.
She pressed her hands together, shut her eyes, and offered up a prayer to whichever god might hear her.
Please keep my brother safe until I can get him out. I promise we’ll take it from there.
Lydia left the rest of her coffee in the cup holder, hopped out, plugged the cart in, checked in on the tablet, and dragged the caddy from the back toward the side door. The wheels caught and bumped on the separations between the giant stones that made up the walkway.
“¡Buenos Días, Lydia!”
She smiled and waved at Hector as he rode past on his riding mower in his wide-brimmed hat and sunny smile.
“Buenos Días, Héctor.”
“Brace yourself.” He shook his head and shuddered. “You know how they are with that big Cup. It’s a mess in there.”
“It always is. Thanks for the warning.”
Knox had played for the Centurions since he graduated high school and had an addiction to wild parties during the off-season. Until they started training, the mess would be several steps up from normal in every villa owned by a hockey player. It was probably going to be even worse since their star center had broken up with his high school sweetheart just before the championship game.
She pulled a mask over her face and keyed in the code. The smell of spilled liquor and the familiar green scent of weed wafted out when she cracked the door.
“Housekeeping!”

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.
Goddess Of The Underworld
When the veil between the Divine, the Living, and the Dead begins to crack, Envy is thrust beneath with a job she can’t drop: keep the worlds from bleeding together, shepherd the lost, and make ordinary into armour, breakfasts, bedtime, battle plans. Peace lasts exactly one lullaby. This is the story of an orphan pup who became a goddess by choosing her family; of four imperfect alphas learning how to be better. Steamy, fierce, and full of heart, Goddess of the Underworld is a reverse harem, found-family paranormal romance where love writes the rules and keeps three realms from falling apart.
Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
Let Them Kneel
Cast out by her pack. Forgotten by the Lycans.
She lived among humans—quiet, invisible, tucked away in a town no one looked at twice.
But when her first heat comes without warning, everything changes.
Her body ignites. Her instincts scream. And something primal stirs beneath her skin—
summoning a big, bad Alpha who knows exactly how to quench her fire.
When he claims her, it’s ecstasy and ruin.
For the first time, she believes she’s been accepted.
Seen.
Chosen.
Until he leaves her the next morning—
like a secret never to be spoken.
But Kaelani is not what they thought.
Not wolfless. Not weak.
There is something ancient inside her. Something powerful. And it’s waking.
And when it does—
they’ll all remember the girl they tried to erase.
Especially him.
She’ll be the dream he keeps chasing… the one thing that ever made him feel alive.
Because secrets never stay buried.
And neither do dreams.
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.
