Signed the Divorce, Now He's Begging on His Knee
Eudora · Completed · 238.9k Words
Introduction
When he disgustedly tore my clothes and roughly pressed me down, I tremblingly told him: "I'm pregnant!" But he sneered, saying I was acting. Even after I lost the child, he was still happily chatting with the perpetrator's family.
Finally, I was tired and exhausted. All my love and endurance meant nothing to him.
When I threw the divorce papers in his face, I thought it was the end, but it was just the beginning. When he gripped my wrist tightly, pinned me against the car door, and sealed my lips with a punishing, possessive kiss, I shamefully felt something... What does this man really want?
Chapter 1
From Sophia Brown's Perspective:
August 20th was a day I would never forget.
Because on this day, not only did I confirm my three-week pregnancy, but I also witnessed with my own eyes my husband James Smith's affair partner, his deceased brother's wife, Amelia Martinez.
"The shot hurt so much, I want Daddy to kiss it better!"
From my spot in a corner, dozens of meters away from the children's clinic, I had a clear view of a little girl in a pink princess dress cradled in James's arms.
She was putting on an adorable act with a sweet, childish voice—it was Isabella Smith, the five‑year‑old daughter of James's deceased brother and Amelia.
And my husband James readily accepted this title, kissing Isabella on the cheek with a gentle smile.
"Does it still hurt now?" James asked softly.
"Still hurts a tiny bit. If Daddy kisses Mommy once, I will be all better!"
"Isabella, stop that nonsense!" Amelia playfully pinched Isabella's face, then smiled as she stood on her tiptoes and wrapped her arms around James's neck.
Right as they were about to kiss, I called James.
He must have hated me for ruining their "happy family of three" moment, because I could clearly see how annoyed James looked, and even his voice when he answered was cold. "What is it?"
"James, where are you? Can you come home?" I gripped my phone tightly, trying to stay calm, but all I got in return was his cold rejection.
"I'm busy."
"But James, I have something very important to tell you. It won't take long."
"If you need money, I'll have my secretary transfer it to you."
"No, I..."
"Sophia." He called my name coldly, his expression icy and disgusted.
"Smart people should know when enough is enough."
I was James's legal wife and was carrying his child in my belly. I just wanted to share this joy with him, to tell James he was going to be a father.
To him, I had turned into a greedy woman who never knew when enough was enough.
The busy signal after he hung up sounded, followed by a notification. "Five million dollars received."
I stood frozen, watching Amelia pull at his sleeve with a tender expression, her voice soft. "James, what if Sophia really does have something urgent? Maybe you should go check."
James just sneered at that. "She always plays these disgusting little tricks. I've already sent her money; no need to pay attention to her."
"You can't say that. Sophia's an orphan who grew up without love. Maybe she just loves you too much and wants to hold onto you, so she..."
"If she really loved me, she wouldn't have used such dirty tricks to drug and trap me in the first place. All she wants is my money and power."
No, James, I was a victim that night too! I had no idea why I woke up beside you either!
I was shaking all over, wanting to rush up and explain, but James didn't notice my presence at all. Holding Isabella with one arm while Amelia held his other, he smiled faintly. "Alright, let's not talk about unpleasant things. I promised Isabella we'd go to the amusement park today."
"Daddy's the best! I love Daddy the most!" Isabella cheered, hugging James's neck tightly.
They walked out of the hospital looking so close that anyone would have thought they were a happy little family.
Meanwhile, I, James's actual wife, looked like a thief hiding in a dark corner.
Actually, even if I had confronted them, what would it have changed? In these two years of marriage, this wasn't the first time I'd tried to explain to James, but all I ever got was his mockery.
He must despise me completely. After all, if it hadn't been for what happened that night, and if not for Grandma's insistence, he probably would have married Amelia ages ago.
James came home very late. When he saw me, his face showed no expression as he went straight into the bathroom.
To the sound of water running, I gathered up the clothes he had taken off.
James was very particular about his appearance, always impeccably dressed in suits. But now, his expensive tailored suit not only had cartoon stickers on it but also ice cream stains—clearly Isabella's doing.
He was so kind even to his niece, Isabella. Would he love our own child even more? Was there a chance things between us could get better?
When this thought came to me, even I found it a bit ridiculous, but I couldn't help feeling a bit hopeful. However, James's indifferent voice soon came from behind me. "Why didn't you take the money I sent?"
"I told you, I don't want money."
When I received the transfer, I returned the money to the original account. But James just stared at me for a moment, then curved his lips mockingly. "I understand."
What did he mean?
Before I could react, his cold, damp hand suddenly reached into my collar. I shuddered from the stimulation, trying hard to hold his hand back. "James, we can't, I...!"
James didn't give me a chance to speak. He grabbed my chin and kissed me roughly, his long fingers deftly untying his own bathrobe as he leaned down.
"You call me, then refuse the money—isn't this what you wanted all along?"
"No, James, I didn't!" I shook my head desperately, struggling to avoid his cold kiss, trembling all over.
"James, not today, I'm already..."
Suddenly feeling nauseous, I couldn't help dry heaving a few times. I felt terrible all over, but James just watched me and suddenly laughed coldly. "Acting again? You were pretty eager when you climbed into my bed back then. Now you're playing the virtuous woman? Sophia, you're disgusting!"
He was my husband, the father of the child in my belly, yet he was calling me "disgusting"?
I looked at James, shaking all over. His handsome face was completely unreadable, except for the deep disgust written on it. My mind went blank, and I let out a frantic, desperate cry.
"Who's more disgusting than you? James, I've been proper and well-behaved since we got married. I've never done anything inappropriate. But you? You have feelings for your dead brother's wife, and you let your niece call you daddy. James, what right do you have..."
"Sophia!" James's face darkened suddenly. He pushed me down on the bed, his reddened eyes like a desperate trapped animal, sending chills down my spine. "Try saying one more word?"
I knew I shouldn't provoke him further, but thinking of what I saw at the hospital during the day, thinking of the child in my belly, I couldn't control my emotions. "If you can do it, don't be afraid of me saying it. James, you bastard, don't you dare touch me again. I hate you..."
James ripped my dress apart and tied my hands with strips of fabric, his eyes filled with unprecedented violence. "Sophia, you asked for this!"
His kisses landed harshly—less like affection and more like an angry release of frustration.
I cried from the pain. Feeling him about to have sex with me, my mind went blank, and I screamed desperately. "James, you can't touch me, I... I'm pregnant!"

Entitled.

Still.
The image of her standing in the doorway, clutching her cardigan tighter around her narrow shoulders, trying to smile through the awkwardness, won’t leave me.
Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.

Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.

Peace lasts exactly one lullaby. This is the story of an orphan pup who became a goddess by choosing her family; of four imperfect alphas learning how to be better. Steamy, fierce, and full of heart, Goddess of the Underworld is a reverse harem, found-family paranormal romance where love writes the rules and keeps three realms from falling apart.
A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Invisible To Her Bully
Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
