Introduction
Chapter 1
Crescent Moon
Under the light of a crescent moon, the forest was alive with the howls and growls of werewolves. These vile creatures usually hide during full moons, but on nights like this, they roam freely through the dark woods, indulging in their primal instincts. It is their most vulnerable state, making it the perfect time to hunt them down.
I give myself one last glance in the mirror before heading out. My reflection shows a fierce and determined hunter, ready to face any challenge that comes my way. My hair is tightly pulled back into a bun, ensuring it won't get in my way during the hunt. I'm clad in my signature hunting gear - an armor laced with Wolfsbane. This powerful herb will cripple any wolf that gets too close to me, making for an easy kill. I double check to make sure my silver bullets are loaded and ready for use - another weapon in my arsenal against these dangerous creatures.
My father's voice interrupts my concentration as I carefully load my crossbow. He pokes his head into the room, calling me by my full name. "Amina," he says, smiling proudly at me. "Ready, my dear?" I nod once and sling the crossbow over my shoulder, making sure it's secure before shouldering my rifle as well. My father's gaze lingers on me for a moment longer before he turns to address my mother and younger sister, MaZet, who is also preparing for her first hunt. "Bag Shadow Tate," he instructs us, referring to our family's coveted trophy deer that has eluded us for years"and put our family back on top. The Hales will rise again." I square my shoulders and give a determined nod. "Yes, Papa," I reply confidently, ready to prove myself and bring honor to our family name..
Mama had once been a striking beauty, with high cheekbones and thin lips that seemed out of place on her square face. But those days were long gone, replaced by a hardened expression and sharp features that bore the weight of her past. In her youth, when the wolves still honored the treaty and peace reigned between our worlds, Mama had resembled Mazet, with her captivating appearance and untamed spirit. Back then, the world had been kinder to her. She didn't need to sleep with knives laced with Wolfsbane on her waist or silver bullets hidden under her pillow. She didn't have to constantly keep a finger on the trigger.
As for me, I take after my father - his wild blue eyes a clear mark of his heritage from the Hale family, renowned as the greatest werewolf hunters of all time. Our family's legacy boasts over a thousand captured wolves, a feat only surpassed by our rivals, the Scott family, just a year ago. The pressure to continue this legacy weighs heavily on me as I am tasked with capturing the most powerful werewolf - the Alpha of the Crescent Pack. He lives up to his name, moving like a shadow in the night. Rumors say he cannot be seen or heard unless he wishes it. With countless killings under his belt, he is a legend among our kind, often shared around bonfires as a cautionary tale. The pressure to capture him weighs heavily on me as his reputation as the most powerful werewolf looms over us all.
The narrow hallway was painted a soft green, and as we walked down it, Celia waved us off with a kind smile. She was our housekeeper, but she felt more like family. I always admired her slender figure, as if she were carved from the pages of a magazine I wasn't allowed to read. Her hair had just started turning silver, adding an air of wisdom to her youthful face. But the two missing front teeth reminded me that she had experienced hardships in life. She smelled of lavender and cigarettes, a unique yet comforting scent.
Celia had been with our family for as long as I could remember. Daddy had hired her seventeen years ago after werewolves raided her village. They had captured their children for breeding and killed their men. Celia was the only one who managed to escape.
As we reached the front door, daddy patted us on the forehead before we glided through the front lawn. Our house was small but cozy. It was a three bedroom house built in the sixties and situated on top of the hills. The grass was greener here in winter, almost glistening under the sunlight.
We split up as soon as we reach the forest's edge, our hearts racing with adrenaline. I quickly put on my advanced glasses, equipped with heat sensors and night vision, and take off into the thick trees. My heart thunders in my chest as I push deeper and deeper into the woods, weaving through the dense foliage at breakneck speed. The trees seem to merge together in a blur as I fly past them, determined to outrun whatever danger may be lurking in these dark and unknown depths
The darkness of the forest surrounds me, broken only by the occasional slivers of moonlight cutting through the thick canopy. Shadows dance and twist around me, seemingly alive and waiting to consume me.
As I fly through the forest, I catch glimpses of writhing bodies and tangled limbs, skin glistening under the moonlight as they engage in primal acts of pleasure.
The forest is a dark and untamed place, tree trunks as thick as castles and leaves that block the faint light of the moon. Figures move in the shadows, their bodies a tangled mess of limbs and hair as they engage in carnal acts.
Repulsive, vile creatures that leave a sickening taste in my mouth. I feel my stomach churn at the mere thought of them, as if my body is instinctively rejecting their existence. The very idea of their presence is enough to make me physically ill and sends shudders down my spine.
As I pass by, I catch sight of a couple entwined in passion. Small kids. No older than I am. Their bodies move in perfect harmony, like two halves of a whole. The moonlight casts a soft glow on their entangled forms, making them seem almost ethereal. It is clear that they are mates, lost in the euphoria of their love and unable to resist each other's touch. Mesmerizing is what they are, an effortless symphony of desire and pleasure. But I cannot linger for too long, lest I am caught intruding on their intimate moment. My footsteps quicken as I continue on my way, leaving behind the intoxicating scene of two souls united in love.

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
