The Alpha King's Breeder
Jeclyn Karl · Completed · 161.0k Words
Introduction
"Yeah, it's just Neomi reminding me of the C-section time." Jason scoffed.
"She's replying nervously."
I sighed.
"If it were a natural birth…"
He interrupted me before I could finish. "It's not going to be a natural birth. Neomi and I have already decided, and you agreed to it by signing the contract," he said, his tone firm as I furrowed my brow in frustration.
I didn't need a reminder, the mention of his Luna on his lips made me feel different. A painful reminder that it was just a flirt. Deep within I wanted more, the warmth of my mate around me but it was stolen by Neomi.
I walked over to the dresser, at least, to let me look beautiful for my birth process.
"Oh, right. That's true. I almost managed to forget that I'm just a walking womb that you and your wife have been renting out."
To save her father, Nyla is forced to sign a breeder contract with Jason, the Alpha King, and his wife, Neomi, agreeing to bear them a child.
In the Moonlit Shadow Pack, having a breeder was strictly forbidden, so Nyla must stay in a secluded place. Alpha Jason, excited about the pregnancy, decides to stay with the breeder during the process- unaware that Nyla is his mate. His bond with her grows stronger every day...
Chapter 1
Nyla POV
I came out of the bathroom with water dripping from my hair and dried it with a towel. I couldn't shake the feeling of uncertainty within me. The day I had patiently waited for was finally here.
He was wearing a dark blue robe, holding his phone, with a worried expression on his face.
"Are you okay?" I asked, forcing a tight-lipped smile.
"Yeah, it's just Neomi reminding me of the C-section time." He scoffed.
"Oh, right. That's true."
"Thanks a lot," I said sarcastically, smacking my lips together with the nude lipstick on my lips.
"I almost managed to forget that I'm just a walking womb that you and your wife have been renting out."
He walked over to the dresser, his hands pressed on the chair I sat on. I could see his reflection in the mirror.
"Look all I can say is that all of us and that includes you agreed to what's happening today."
"After today it's going to end."
Hmm, I rubbed my buggy stomach and my mind wandered away from the experience. It was both sweet and bitter. Once I thought of not having any pup but here I am almost 8 months gone on the due date.
I gasped, raising my head to the mirror, he was still right behind me.
"Finally I will be able to get some sleep again. But not you," I smiled and continued, "But you will be waking up all the time getting food and changing diapers."
"Yeah," he said with a hint of desperation, I'm sure he was going to make a good father. I could see that in his eyes. He couldn't wait to hold the tiny pup in his arms.
He ran his hand through my hair, gently arranging them and putting them in a ponytail.
"I just want you to know that in a few hours, you'll be with your father again."
After the operation, I heard a soft knock on the door and footsteps approaching.
I sensed a presence beside me. I was too weak to open my eyes, it felt as if bricks were pressing down on them, coupled with the intense pain in my legs.
"Nyla, how are you feeling?" a familiar voice asked, close to my ear.
"I feel so nauseous," I replied in a voice barely above a whisper.
"It's okay. Slowly it will wear away but don't forget to have a light dinner even if you don't feel like it," she instructed.
"You will never see me again."
"Here, call me even whenever you need me," She held my wrist with her hands, inscribing something on them, and slowly I slipped into subconsciousness.
I felt like I was in a moving train, shaking my body from one end to the other, I sprained my eyes open, and images were spinning like tiny television sets floating in space, my gaze blurring. I couldn't see the person behind the wheel but it sounded like a man driving, on a phone call.
"Yeah, yeah man."
"I have got her in the car with me."
"Yeah, don't worry about it," he continued his discussion over the phone. I couldn't comprehend what he was saying. I still felt nauseous, weak, and vulnerable. My wolf was weak too.
"Don't worry about it, the hospital handed her over to me fast," the last I heard.
As flashes of headlight grew dim, my eyelids grew heavy and I felt a gentle pull into darkness.
The murmur of voice echoed into my ears.
"What's going on?" a voice pulled through.
"Maybe she's lost," another said, it was a feminine voice.
"Is that a pup? It's tiny."
"Can I help you?" The voices came one after the other. I'm dreaming or something I asked myself.
The last I remembered was getting prepared to head to the hospital with Jason beaming with excitement.
It was going to be a C-section and I couldn't wait to meet my father. After this whole I was in anticipation I held dearly to my heart.
"Miss, wake up," another voice said, who has all these voices in my head?
I sprained my eyes open and the bright blinded my vision. I held a hand over it normalizing to the intensity of the light and saw faces looking down on me, their eyes full of concern.
The cry of the baby brought my attention and I tried to steady myself by sitting up. My eyes widened at the tiny pup beside me. I couldn't comprehend what was going on.
Where are mine? Why was I here with a pup beside me? Wasn't Jason and his Luna supposed to have the pup?
A woman pushed through the crowd that surrounded me, her eyes flashed with anger.
"Who did you steal the pup from?"
"Call the enforcer," another said.
I shook my head in disbelief.
It began to play all together in seconds, I had been rejected and stuck with a pup I didn't ask for.
A painful way to wake up after giving birth.
The tons of pain clashed over me like someone was slowly using a knife to pierce through my body. The pain was overwhelming like it was eating me up bit by bit.
I shifted to adjust my position and just then a crash of pain flipped through my upper thigh and lower abdomen, a painful reminder of going through the knives.

I Loved You in Silence, You Betrayed Me in French
At my birthday party, my husband whispered to his mistress in French that he missed her. His voice was low, but I heard it all—the black lingerie, the bit about how pregnancy makes you more sensitive. His French clients around us were laughing. He turned and put his arm around me, claiming he was just helping his clients come up with sweet nothings.
He doesn't know I understand every single word. Just like he doesn't know that inside my body, I'm carrying his other surprise. And his mistress—she's pregnant too. Two wombs, one secret.
Confrontation would be too cheap. Tears are worthless. I quietly started cataloging the hidden networks my father left behind, activating the Swiss accounts.
In seven days, Zoey Smith will cease to exist. And what will my husband's reaction be?

What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
My mate sees me and runs.

Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
