Introduction
Chapter 1
Autumn' POV
The gorgeous crystal chandelier reflected a gorgeous light, and the pure white European table and chairs exuded an aristocratic atmosphere. The tall fireplace finely carved by white marble was the most eye-catching focus, like a well-designed artwork. The sculptures and large paintings on the hearth were full of artistic power, making the whole venue show the atmosphere of style and high quality, and the huge gold candelabra showed the wealth of Bright Moon Pack.
In the venue, boys and girls in dresses raised their glasses and talked happily with the sound of violins.
It was a party to find a mate for Alpha, and all unmarried she-wolves had to attend, even me who was attending school abroad.
I stepped into the venue wearing black high heels, the tailored dress outlined my sexy curves, silver sequins shone like stars in the light, and the V-neck opening trimmed the neck more slender.
The chatter around me slowly stopped, and all eyes were fixed on me. They looked at me like a commodity, and these eyes made me feel uncomfortable.
"Who is she? It's beautiful!"
"I don't know, I've never seen her."
"I think I've seen her before, she's the girl named Autumn who couldn't turn into a wolf!"
All those greedy eyes moved away after hearing that I was disabled.
I took a sip of my champagne and smiled to myself, I was almost used to such stares.
When I was 16 years old, I was diagnosed with a congenital disability that prevented me from turning into a wolf, and since then I have been an object of shame for the other pack members. I have always longed to find a mate who could accept me, but this could only be my extravagant hope.
A man stopped me and gave me a gentleman's smile. "Beautiful lady, may I invite you to a dance?" Before I could answer, he took the glass I was holding and handed it to a passing waiter.
I shook my head and was about to say something when a teasing voice came from the right corner of the ballroom. "Is this Levin's way of dancing with a loser?"
Loser? I froze and looked toward the owner of the voice.
It was a black beauty in a low-cut gown who shook the red wine glass in her hand and said mockingly. "It's good to see you again, Autumn, are you here for the selection as well? I don't think Alpha would take a fancy to a disabled wolf."
The murmurs rang out around me again, and I secretly clenched my fists.
I remembered her, the school bully when I attended Wolf Pack School, who should be related to all what I have suffered at school, the door being unlocked when I went to the bathroom, the notebook being torn up halfway through my homework, the freshly typed rice being poured into other people's leftover food...I could never forget those sad days of being bullied for the rest of my life.
I straightened my thoughts and tried to sound as smooth as possible. "It's good to see you, my old school friend. Look at you, nothing has changed except two more years of French snails and cream of mushroom soup, and your heart is still as ugly as ever."
Iona didn't seem angry, seemingly, she was satisfied that the mood of the venue was being moved by her and wasn't about to stop there.
"I heard that you've gone into hiding abroad?" Her voice raised two degrees as she stomped toward me on her high heels, her body twisted like a snake. "Since you changed schools, we've had one less person to play with. You know, we miss you so much."
But her eyes were full of contempt.
"I don't care." I wasn't going to have much to do with her.
I grabbed my glass back from the waiter and was about to walk through the crowd of onlookers when Iona stopped me again.
"I advise you to go back home while you can. This party is to find a Luna who can lead the wolves, do you think the Alpha will choose you?" Iona said aloud with her hands spread out in mock surprise.
"Listen Iona, the Moon Goddess will find Luna for the Alpha, and she will be the leader who can fight alongside the Alpha. She is also the respected leader of the wolves. The divine selection was not decided by your ugly mouth."
"You uncultured thing!" Iona's voice became shaky and shrill, and I saw her hands were about to raise.
"What are you doing? You can't be so unreasonable here!"
My sister with a head of blonde curls; slim cut red plunging velvet dress was bright like fire, set off her S-shaped sexy curves, bare shoulders and arms with strong lines. The high-cut design revealed her long and white legs, and every step she tool was calm and strong.
Ava stopped in front of Iona, "Autumn is right, the Moon Goddess will surely find a strong and gentle Luna for Alpha to lead us to defeat witch. and never someone who bullies wolf pack members like you!"
Iona glared at me and fled with her tail between her legs.
"See, they're a bunch of cowards, and you have to be tough with them." Ava said gently to me.
"Thank you, Ava," I feel warm at the moment, she always helps me to chase away the bullies.
A noble couple approached, "Hello Dr. Ava, how are you doing?"
Seeing that my sister was busy socializing, I couldn't be bothered to say softly. "I'm going out to get some air."
I was guided by the attendant to the back garden, where a woman walked past me with a red jeweled ring and a red rose emblem on her dress telling everyone that this was a noblewoman.
I looked enviously at her beautiful back as she departed. "Luna will be like that, right? Beautiful and full of wisdom, the Alpha will definitely choose someone like that."
The green and white stone path took me to a fountain, and I watched with delight as the scattered water sprinkled coolly with the wind, reflecting a thin rainbow under the wall lamp.
On that side of the pool, there stood a man. He was tall and slender; his silver hair fluttered gently with the breeze, and his thin bangs fell in front of his forehead. His nose was high; his two thin lips were tightly closed; and his gray-blue eyes exuded an aristocratic air of arrogance.
I stared at him in awe, I had never seen such beautiful gray-blue eyes, like shooting stars cutting through the silent cold dark night.
There seemed to be silence all around, and all I could hear was the sound of my heart beating violently.
Gabriel's POV
"It's time for you to get over there." Dane bounced cheerfully in my head, always anxious about finding our mate.
Now I was so annoyed that I scratched my hair haphazardly. "I don't understand why you guys must want me to pick a woman! What does defeating witch have to do with Luna? One more woman will only be a burden to me."
"Luna can assist you and bring new hope to the wolf pack. We've been suppressed by witch for too long, it's time to regroup our morale and wipe them out in one fell swoop."
"Bullshit!" I didn't believe such words and tilted my head and drank half a glass of red wine. "Dane, give me some time, with my strength I can definitely train a strong team and command them to defend the wolves."
"Gabriel, look at it clearly, we can no longer afford such needless sacrifices." Dane shook his head and spoke again. "You are the Alpha, you have to plan for the long term for the pack, working together has always been fundamental to the pack's sustainability, and you need a good mate."
"Is this how excellent mates are found? Don't you think this method of selection is ridiculous? One look, one feeling and you know she's Luna?" I continued as I angrily poured my wine all down my throat. "What if she's a weak werewolf?"
"You have to trust the Moon Goddess, she will help you find a mate that is right for you. she will be a wise and strong leader. The wolves need the Alpha and Luna who will fight alongside the Alpha."
"That's what everyone says."
It seemed unable to persuade me anymore and paused. "The ball should be starting, it's time for you to go inside."
I impatiently set my glass aside in one place, even though I was reluctant, I still had to continue the drama.
As soon as I turned around, a woman in a silver dress across the room was staring at me adoringly, and I just got bored.
I'd seen this kind of woman too many times, they're keen to find a strong mate. I grunted coldly, not wanting to pay attention, and walked towards the venue.
"If she's too weak, I'll finish her off myself!"

I Loved You in Silence, You Betrayed Me in French
At my birthday party, my husband whispered to his mistress in French that he missed her. His voice was low, but I heard it all—the black lingerie, the bit about how pregnancy makes you more sensitive. His French clients around us were laughing. He turned and put his arm around me, claiming he was just helping his clients come up with sweet nothings.
He doesn't know I understand every single word. Just like he doesn't know that inside my body, I'm carrying his other surprise. And his mistress—she's pregnant too. Two wombs, one secret.

Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.
It’s not my problem if Tyler’s an idiot.
It’s not my business if some spoiled little princess has to walk home in the dark.

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
