Chapter 1
"Ahh…Maverick." I moaned passionately as my hands clutched to his hair.
I bit my lips in pleasure just to reduce the delightful sounds of my moans as Maverick buried his face in between legs.
I felt my nipples hardening as he came forward to my lips and next to my ears whispering,
" I Alpha Maverick Oakley, reject you now."
I was so lost in pleasure that I couldn't understand his words.
"Huh?" My lips moaned out, my eyes still closed in pleasure savouring every moment.
Suddenly I felt a push, in seconds I was on the cold marble floor. My eyes blinked violently as I realized I was on the floor.
I quickly looked at Maverick who had a smile on his face, there was no remorse in his eyes. I had confusion on my face wondering what just happened.
Maverick got up and immediately began to dress up, I looked at myself realizing I was naked and quickly grabbed the duvets to cover my body.
"What is wrong, Maverick?" I managed to ask.
"Isn't it obvious?" He questioned, his eyes blazing with fury.
" I really don't understand ." I muttered wondering about the sudden change of behavior.
Before he could give me a reply, the door creaked open and a figure entered. I froze immediately. I saw it was Lyra, my step-sister. She was always unlucky and only her presence signified that I was going to have a bad day.
"What's going on? It looks like a mess." She asked, her large cocoa brown eyeballs scanning the room
" I don't think it's any of your business." I snapped at her angrily, wishing Maverick could tell her to leave so I could put on my clothes.
" Don't —" Maverick cut me off but Lyra was quick to stop him.
"Hold on , I will speak to her myself." She turned to me, " I think you forgot your place and how you were born."
I swallowed hard immediately. I didn't want to be reminded of that scary past.
" What are you talking about?" Maverick asked and my heart raced in fear.
" It's nothing, Alpha mate." She answered immediately.
I was relieved she didn't expose it but then I thought I heard something wrongly.
" Why did you call him mate? He's mine not yours." I yelled at her angrily.
" I think you're becoming too dumb, what's this?" She asked, approaching me and my heart raced in anticipation,
" Let her be, Lyra." He stopped her and she halted immediately, a frown on her face.
Maverick quickly walked to her side and planted a kiss on her forehead, her nose and finally her lips. I froze instantly, not making any attempt to move forward to stop them as my eyes flooded with tears.
I quickly got my composure and rushed to them pulling Maverick away from her.
I got a slap for that and I had not recovered from that slap when I felt another on my left cheek, I guess it was from Lyra.
" Has your wolflessness affected your brains?" Maverick asked as he grabbed me by the neck making me choke, asides that his fingers dug into my skin making me bleed. The sight of my blood scared me.
" You're choking me, Maverick…" I managed to mutter.
" Don't call me that, you don't have that right. I reject you as my mate. Lyra is my true mate." He yelled and finally released me.
I struggled to breathe the first three seconds.
" Why did you do this to me?" I knew I was making a grave mistake questioning his orders but I needed answers to why he had rejected me after giving him everything he asked.
" You want to know the truth?" He inquired.
" Yes…"
" You were just a toy to satisfy my desires. I couldn't help it morevever you submitted yourself to me. You don't expect me to belong to a whore."He expressed shamefully.
I broke down on hearing those words,
" This shouldn't be happening." I muttered to myself.
" This isn't fair. You're making this up. Please reconsider your decision. I will do anything." I pleaded.
" I'm making up everything, my love?" He asked in a sneer, " Just look at someone responsible for the calamities in the pack talking about made up events. You are cursed and you are aware."
" You were betrothed to me, it's a curse to leave me." I reminded, folding my hands in a plea.
" You're already cursed. Nothing has changed." He said with a low and menacing voice.
I fell to his knees, I couldn't face another rejection, this was going to be the third rejection.
" Stop embarrassing yourself. You are a lady with dignity. Oh I forgot, you're a whore." He sneered and laughed.
" Was I just a play toy to you?" I asked in tears.
" Exactly and anything more humiliating than a whore."
I swallowed, pleading with him was worthless. " I , Flora Ravenwood, accept your rejection."
I could see from their faces that they were surprised at my decision, I quickly wiped my face and took my clothes to the bathroom where I changed in split seconds and left.
I left the motel and the only thing I could think of was having a drink, to help me gather up enough courage.
As I rode on my scooter the only thing that was in my head was the humiliation I just experienced.
I was just a tool the whole time. He didn't have any single feeling for me and the worst was that I put in all of my efforts, despite being cursed to be a whore and not able to resist any man. I tried my best to stay away from the males just so I could make my body belong to Maverick only. But he used me.
" Get me some drinks, two beers." I ordered and sat down hastily as soon as I got there.
" Tell me why you sound so grumpy." The bar attendant inquired.
My eyes sent the signals of warnings and she immediately hurried away to get the drink.
I was enjoying every bit of getting my emotions drowned, Maverick was slowly fading from my head . The alcohol was taking effect.
" Hey you, stop taking so much you can't handle it." I heard someone say grabbing the beer bottle from my hand.
" Mind your business, mister." I snapped and retrieved my bottle.
"Take it easy." He whispered into my ears and I got turned on immediately.
Whispering had always been my weak point, I tried hard to fight back grabbing him by the collar and smashing my lips on his but there was no control. His eyes were more sexier than I had ever seen,
I didn't want to hurt Maverick but he had used me. This was a perfect way to forget all my pain.
I immediately grabbed the stranger by his collar and forcefully pressed my lips on his.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...

The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
