The Alpha's Rejected Queen
Jen Doll · Ongoing · 42.6k Words
Introduction
Luca Blackstone had just two principles which he ruled by; power and dominance. After being betrayed by the woman he’d once given everything to, he signed his heart away to the devil and became a cold, ruthless Don since then. He rejects Elara when the revelation happens. She’s nothing more than a weak omega and he wants nothing to do with her. At least that’s what he thought. When she comes back in a way he never expected, he finds himself regretting his decision and resolves to get her back. Fighting for her love will be harder this time, especially as sinister forces threaten to break them apart completely.
Chapter 1
Elara's POV
The sharp, metallic scent of blood filled the air as I knelt beside Luca. My hands were trembling as I pressed a cloth to his side, trying to stop the flow. His muscles were taut beneath my touch, the deep gash across his abdomen a brutal reminder of the fight he had barely survived.
Luca Blackstone, the notorious Alpha of the Blackstone Mafia Pack, had once again taken down his enemies. This time however, it didn’t come without a cost.
I shouldn’t be here, I told myself. But I couldn't stay away try as I may. Luca’s eyes were closed, his lips pulled into a frown. His eyes opened and they fell on me. I held my breath, afraid that doing anything would shatter this fragile moment.
The moonlight cast an eerie glow across his face, highlighting the sharp angles of his jaw and the fierce, unforgiving look in his eyes. Even wounded, he exuded power, the kind that made everyone tremble in his presence. Well…everyone except me.
“Sorry.” I mumbled when he winced.
I pressed harder on the wound, my heart racing as Luca’s gaze flicked toward me. His lips were curled slightly, almost as if he was amused by my attempts to help him.
“You don’t have to do this, Elara,” His voice was hoarse as he spoke. “I’ve survived worse.”
“I know,” I whispered. My throat was tight with emotion that threatened to explode out into the surface.
“But that doesn’t mean you don’t need help.”
He didn’t respond immediately. He just continued to stare at me with those icy blue eyes, as if trying to read my soul. I swallowed hard, my pulse quickening under his intense gaze. Being this close to him had to be torture.
I’d spent years watching him from afar, knowing I was nothing more than an insignificant speck in his world. He was the Alpha, the leader of one of the most powerful mafia packs in Nightshade City. And I was just an omega. Weak, insignificant and without any value.
The air between us shifted, a strange tension settling in. As I leaned closer to check another wound, it hit me like a ton of bricks. The scent of his blood mixed with something else, something that made my heart seem to stop. It was faint at first, but unmistakable.
Luca’s scent.
It wrapped around me, warm and intoxicating in its own way. I froze as the realization hit me like a freight train. Luca stiffened too, his nostrils flaring as his gaze darkened.
No. It couldn’t be. I backed my hands away from him and leaned back. The truth was undeniable. I felt the mate bond snap into place with a force that nearly knocked the breath out of me.
We were mates.
Alpha Luca Blackstone was my mate. The man that I’d always secretly yearned for but felt like he was way out of reach. He was my mate.
My hands stilled on his skin as the shock ran through me. My heart started to race, different emotions flooding my chest. After years of feeling invisible and unworthy, I’d finally found the one I could call mine. I was fated to be the mate of Luca Blackstone.
I had no idea that the hope that flared in my chest would be short-lived.
Luca’s eyes that were once narrowed in pain, were now widened with anger. His lips twisted into a snarl as he pushed me away, hard enough that I stumbled back. I was barely able to catch myself as I fell.
“No,” he growled, his voice like ice. “No, this can’t be.”
My heart was shattering into pieces as he glared at me with pure disgust.
“Luca, I-” I started to say but he cut me off, standing up despite his injuries. His massive frame loomed over me like a dark shadow.
“You? You’re my mate?” His laugh was bitter and harsh.
“An omega? A weak, worthless omega?” His words were like daggers, each one slicing deeper into my already bleeding heart.
I could barely get a word in as he fumed. This couldn’t be happening. This wasn’t how I expected finding a mate to be like.
“I won’t accept this,” Luca continued, his eyes blazing with hatred. “I don’t need a mate and if I did, it sure as hell wouldn’t be you.”
My throat tightened as I fought back the tears burning behind my eyes. How could he be so cruel? I had known Luca was ruthless, but this... this was just unbearable.
“I didn’t choose this,” I whispered, trying to steady my voice. “Neither of us did.”
“But I can reject it,” he spat, his voice filled with anger. “And I do.”
The air around us seemed to thicken, as if the weight of his words had the power to crush me. The mate bond that had once filled me with hope now suffocated me.
“I, Luca Blackstone, reject you, Elara Winters, as my mate and Luna.” He declared, his voice carrying across the clearing where a few pack members had gathered to witness the scene. His words echoed in the silence, each syllable slamming into me like a punch to the gut.
I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think.
The pack members watched, their expressions a mixture of shock and pity. No one moved to stop him, no one defended me. Why would they? I was nothing to them. Just a useless, pitiful omega.
I felt the bond sever at his words, the pain ripping through my chest like a knife. I gasped, clutching at my heart as if that would somehow dull the agony. If only it could.
Luca’s eyes were cold and emotionless as he turned away from me. His rejection was final. I was nothing to him. Not his mate. Not his equal. Just a broken omega who never stood a chance.
Without another word, I turned and ran away from the room. I didn’t stop running even as I passed the pack boundaries. There was no place for me here anymore. The wind whipped through my hair as the moonlight cast shadows on the path before me, but I didn’t stop. I couldn’t stop.
Tears blurred my vision, but I kept going. Luca’s cruel words continued to echo in my mind like a broken record.
“You were never meant to be my Luna.”

On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.

A Lesson in Magic
Claimed by the Alpha's Love
Four years ago, Fiona's meticulously planned conspiracy turned me from an ordinary omega into a prisoner carrying the weight of a murder charge.
Four years later, I return to a world that has changed beyond recognition.
My best friend Fiona, who is also my stepsister, has become the perfect daughter in my mother's eyes. And my ex-boyfriend, Ethan, is about to hold a high-profile mating ceremony with her.
The love, family bonds, and reputation that I once cherished have all been taken by Fiona.
Just when I had reached my breaking point, questioning the very purpose of my existence, the legendary Alpha Lucas of Moonhaven suddenly appeared in my life.
He is powerful and enigmatic, a figure that all werewolves hold in awe.
Yet, he shows an extraordinary persistence and tenderness towards me.
Is Lucas's appearance a gift from fate, or the start of another conspiracy?
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
