"I accept you as…" I paused as his words sank in.

Chapter 1
Edna
It had been four days since Darrell returned and I had only seen him twice.
The first time he'd saved me from his mother's torturous beatings and the second was when I had gone to welcome him with home made pie.
Neither of those encounters were encouraging. Darrel had not only changed physically, he'd changed emotionally towards me.
Or maybe I was just imagining things.
He'd been the one to stop his mother from beating me up twice after all and he'd been awfully busy, receiving visitors and trying to get the pack in order.
Maybe he was just tired, maybe I had seeked him out at the wrong time. But what about Lilian?
What on earth was she doing in his room and in a towel? The image made me furious with jealousy and anger. How was it that he was spending time with Lilian but not me who'd waited five years patiently for him? And how could Lilian betray me? We were supposed to be friends…
I shook the tears away threatening to spill from my eyes.
It didn't want to look weak by crying anymore even though I was very weak.
I let out a sigh as I truged towards the kitchen, it was 3am.
After the beating I had gotten throughout the week , I wasn't trying to be late again.
We'd been working tirelessly to get things in order just in time for Darrel's coronation.
After his father fell sick a few years ago, the entire pack has been waiting for Darrel to take over from him and now that he was back, the pack was running Helter skelter, trying to make his coronation a good one. His mother had even invited the most eligible girls in the pack to compete for his hand. She wanted a Luna of her choosing and from what I had seen, Darrell was not privy to her suggestions.
As I got to the dinning hall, the first person I saw was the headmaid, she was staring at me with a snarl on her face.
I greeted her and took my place behind the long dinning table waiting for the Luna to come in and address us on what to do.
Tonight was Darrel's coronation and I was having mixed feelings about the whole thing. There wasn't much else to do since we'd all been working tirelessly for the past four days but the Luna still insisted that we all wake up as early as 3am to get things preparerd…
Lilian walked in just then and I felt my heart rip out of my chest in betrayal. The memory of her with Darrell made me want to cry but I looked away from her.
I didn't want anything triggering me.
The Luna walked in just then and we all bowed in greeting.
"Oh, Good you are all here." She said, staring pointedly at me. I averted my gaze as subtlety as I could. I wasn't looking for any trouble from her today. My entire body was still hurting from the beating I had gotten from her a few days ago.
"Alright. As you all know, today is my son's Coronation party. I want everything to be spotlessly perfect. No mistakes or you'll all face the consequences together!" She spat, her eyes trained on me with a burning hatred that made me uncomfortable.
"Now, I'll assign each of you to your own jobs…"
She began to assign jobs to the maids. Some were to work as waitresses during the party while others were to be in the kitchen.
"Edna, you'll spend the time cleaning up the entire pack. You'll start with laundry and then you'll tend to the grasses and feed the live stock."
She said, a slightly devious smile on her face.
I groaned knowing that I wouldn't be able to see Darrel get coronated or even get to see him at all.
I wanted to congratulate him and talk to him. It was apparent that he was angry about something and I wanted to know what and also just be in his arms.
The Luna left after a brief talk with the head maid and we immediately got to work.
I wasn't sure how I was going to be able to finish my assigned job in time for Darrel's coronation so I decided to write a congratulatory letter to him just in case I didn't make it and also for him to forgive me if I had done anything to make him mad and also that we needed to talk.
When I was done writing the letter, I pleaded with one of the newer maids who was going upstairs to add the letter to his breakfast tray and then went to work.
I plopped down on the floor, tired and stressed out of my mind. It was already dark out and I was very sure, Darrel's coronation party had started. I had not heard anything from him all day and I assumed he was maybe busy or he didn't get the letter I sent him.
That didn't matter. I was still going to get to see him after the coronation, maybe tomorrow and we could talk. I missed him so much and I wanted to tell him how much I missed him and also talk about what happened between us five years ago.
"What are you doing lazing around you mixed blood!". A familiar voice spat.
I quickly stood up from where I laid and dusted my clothes as I bowed to the headmaid.
"Miss Agatha…"
"Save your excuses. We need more hands in the hall. Get dressed and come with me.
She growled.
A smile broke out of my face. I was going to see him after all.
quickly, I dressed up in the clothes the headmaid provided and quickly followed her into the hall, holding a tray of champagne that I was meant to serve the guests.
The hall was filled with people from the pack and outside the pack, all elegantly dressed in their best attire.
As I advanced into the hall, a strong scent wafted into my nostrils and then a strong feeling that felt like I was being pulled towards someone took over my body.
What was going on?
I wondered as the feeling got stronger the more I moved.
Wait. I knew this feeling. My mother had described it to me before. My fated mate was near.
I looked around, trying to figure out who it was.
My eyes locked with Darrel who was being coronated and I realized that he was in fact my mate.
I sucked in a deep breath as he stood up from his chair and began to walk towards me.
His eyes glowing and trained on me. The crowd gave him way as he walked towards me.
I could practically hear my heart beating as he neared me.
An involuntary noise escaped my lips as Darrell stopped in front of me.
"MATE"
He growled.

"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
