Introduction
Aaron gently pulled down the straps of her dress, sliding them off her shoulders. She took a deep breath, feeling exposed under his intense gaze, her vulnerability and nervousness evident. He inhaled the scent of mint that surrounded her, overwhelming his senses. She winced when his hand tenderly touched her wound. "I apologize, babygirl. I was careless and failed to protect you," he whispered, taking a sharp breath. He tightly grasped the hem of her dress in response.
She was heartbroken when she realized that her father had sold her to the devil of her life for 100 million. She made it difficult for him to cope with his carnal desires. Not only did he have to deal with her attitude, but also her tantrums.
Chapter 1
No!! Noo... that's a sin!! Please don't touch me!! Ugh, I can't stand your touch!" She shouted, pushing back as the headboard of the bed hit her back.
Meanwhile, he smirked wickedly as he approached. His handsome face, twisted with an evil smirk, made her break out in a cold sweat. He loomed over her, causing her to scream in fear. She despised him with every fiber of her being. Her screams echoed throughout the room. As he hovered over her, he muttered, "and I am a sinner," and slipped his hand into her shirt. She let out a loud scream, struggling to breathe. Suddenly, she woke up, realizing that it was all just a terrible nightmare.
She struggled to catch her breath, finding herself lying on the bed. Feeling safe and secure, she let out a sigh of relief. Meanwhile, her father's voice echoed from downstairs, calling out her name inquiring if she was awake and addressing her with affectionate terms. It was time for her to attend school, as she was a student in the twelfth grade. "Yes, dad," she responded, her voice carrying back to him. Hastily, she rose from the bed and made her way downstairs.
Just last month, she had celebrated her eighteenth birthday, marking her transition into adulthood. Knowing his unwavering commitment to his promises, she feared his return. Determined to fulfill his words, she pushed aside these thoughts and hurriedly prepared herself for school. She swiftly gathered her backpack, aware that she was already running late.
"Are you studying diligently?" Her father asked.
"Of course, dad. I scored 93% in the midterms. How could you forget?" she whined playfully, as he chuckled.
"Okay, okay, I remember," he said, raising his hands in surrender. She raised an eyebrow, doubting him.
"I really do!" he insisted, slightly annoyed. She giggled cutely, and he smiled at his beloved daughter.
Meanwhile, her father's phone rang, displaying the name "Aaron." Sarah tensed at the sight of the name on the screen and focused on her breakfast. Her father answered the call, saying, "Hello, my friend. How are you doing?" He began the conversation.
She listened quietly, feeling her father's gaze on her, his eyes turning red with anger. Nervously, she swallowed. She had never seen her father this angry before. Her father hummed in response, and the call ended. He rubbed his face in frustration, indicating that something had happened.
"What's wrong, dad? Is everything alright?" she asked, trying to decipher her father's worry. He sighed and reassured her by patting her hand, "We will find a solution, Sarah. Just focus on your studies," he said, patting her head. She couldn't find the words to respond, so she simply nodded.
Her mind was consumed with thoughts about the phone call. What could Aaron have said to her father that would make him so worried? She wondered. After finishing her breakfast, her father drove her to school, which was a 20-minute drive away. Throughout the entire journey, she glanced at her father multiple times, noticing the worry and fear clearly etched on his face.
Soon, the school building came into view and the car came to a halt. Sarah was preparing to exit the vehicle when her father addressed her, saying, "Sarah?"
"Yes, Dad?" She turned back to face her father.
"Do you trust your father?" he asked hesitantly and with fear. He was aware of the suffering she would endure due to his actions. Sarah smiled, causing her father to feel even more guilty. "Of course, Dad, I trust you more than anyone," she said, smiling wholeheartedly. She truly adored her father.
Her father smiled back, burdened with guilt, and bid her farewell. She waved goodbye and hurried into the entrance of her school. She rushed down the hallway and directly to her classroom, where the teacher was already present, displaying a less than pleasant demeanor. Sarah huffed and puffed, trying to catch her breath. "May I enter?" she requested, seeking permission, but received a sour reaction from her teacher.
Her mathematics teacher and she did not have a good relationship. They harbored a deep dislike for each other, which resulted in Sarah despising mathematics.
"Please ensure that you are punctual in the future, as failure to do so may result in disciplinary action," admonished her mathematics teacher, causing her to roll her eyes before taking her seat. She placed her bag on her desk and took a moment to catch her breath as the teacher resumed the lesson. Suddenly, she felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around to find her long-lost best friend, Adah. A wave of happiness washed over her, and she greeted her best friend with a smile, which was met with a chuckle.
"Oh my goodness, Addy!" Sarah exclaimed, attracting the attention of everyone in the room and once again getting into trouble. Her teacher glared at them disapprovingly. "I believe we are here to study, not to..."
BOOM! A loud gunshot rang out, causing all the students to flinch. Some screamed, while others ran out of the room. Sarah froze, unsure of what had just happened. Her heart pounded loudly, and her mouth went dry. However, her mind was consumed by the thought of someone's name, as she knew who had the power to cause such chaos. Someone who was influential and dangerous.
Meanwhile, she felt a tap on her shoulder. "He has arrived," Addy said with a smirk, taking Sarah's hand and practically dragging her out of the room.
Sarah tried to break free from her grip. "Who has arrived, Addy? What are you talking about? And where are you taking me?" she questioned repeatedly until Addah stopped in front of a massive wooden door. Sarah tensed up, sensing his powerful presence in the air, carried by his strong cologne. Addy's hand gripped the doorknob, giving it a slight twist, and then pushed Sarah into a dark room.
Sarah's breath caught in her throat as she observed the presence of the identical gentleman, seated with one leg crossed over the other, leisurely smoking a cigar. His captivating grey eyes locked onto the young girl, causing her to tremble under his intense scrutiny. The man exhaled a cloud of smoke from his cigar, reclining in his chair, thereby intensifying the discomfort for the girl. Sarah's breath hitched once again as she laid eyes on her most dreaded nightmare, Aaron. She harbored an intense loathing for him, coupled with an overwhelming fear. His penetrating gaze sent shivers down her spine, inundating her mind with a multitude of distressing thoughts.
"Hey there, babygirl, did you miss me?" He smirked, raising an eyebrow. His voice was all rough and it sent shivers down her spine. Sarah's mouth went dry, and she clenched her fists on the edge of her skirt. Nervously, she gulped and stood up, taking quick, shallow breaths.

At my birthday party, my husband whispered to his mistress in French that he missed her. "You drive me crazy, baby..."

The Family Sacrifice
I simply said one word: "Okay."
My parents and Gilbert were stunned. They rushed to have me sign the voluntary donation form, afraid I’d change my mind.
Some days later, they sent me to the operating room.
Dad said, "Yvonne will finally be saved. We're so proud of you."
Mom said, "After the surgery, we'll make it up to you."
Gilbert looked tenderly at Yvonne and said, "When you're better, where should we travel?"
What they didn't know was that the day I agreed, I'd just received my diagnosis, stage four cancer. Three months to live.
As I lay on the cold operating table, as the anesthesia began to take effect, I only wanted to know one thing:
If I die on this operating table, will they regret it?
He Never Loved Me, Until I Left
I put away the divorce agreement with a wry smile.
When he and my son completely disappeared, he finally panicked.
Three months later .
He knelt down on the streets of Chicago in despair, begging me to remarry him.
My six-year-old son looked coldly at his biological father and said, "Get lost, you bad uncle! You don't deserve to be my dad!"
He Thought I'd Never Leave
When he said he was being bullied, I believed him. When he kissed me on that rooftop, I thought he felt the same. When he asked me to transfer schools with him, I said yes without hesitation.
Then I heard him bragging to his friends: "She'd save her first time for me. Hell, she'd still be thinking of me on her wedding night."
The bullying was staged. The kiss meant nothing. He just wanted me gone—so his new girl could feel more comfortable.
He thought I'd beg. He thought I'd cry. He thought I'd never actually leave.
I left the country.
And ran straight into his stepbrother.
I Died While They Threw Her a Party
Their real daughter came home. She'd only been back two years. That's all it took to erase twenty-four.
When kidnappers grabbed us, I used my body as a shield. They beat me until something inside me ruptured. I was dying from internal bleeding, but no one could tell.
My parents wouldn't even look at me. "This is your fault! None of this would've happened if it weren't for you!"
"Get downstairs and apologize to your sister. If you can't, pack your things and get out."
They threw her a party at a downtown hotel while I died alone in my room.
I thought they'd be relieved. Maybe even glad. I thought they'd just move on like I never existed.
But when they finally learned the truth, they fell apart.
Bury Me in His Regret
The kidnapper pressed the gun to my temple and asked, "Choose your wife or your sister-in-law?"
Zachary didn't hesitate. "Let Valerie go," he said.
He actually chose to save his sister-in-law! In that moment, even the baby in my belly seemed to stop kicking.
Later, they locked me in the basement. Drugs to delay labor were pumped into my veins over and over. Zachary wanted to save the "firstborn son" status for his sister-in-law's child.
When warm blood finally soaked through my skirt, I dialed the number I knew by heart with shaking hands.
"Zachary," I whispered into the phone, "our child... can't wait any longer."
The Kidney That Killed Me
A few months ago, my sister was hospitalized with kidney failure. The doctor said she needed a transplant. My family's first thought was me—the backup daughter they'd kept around all these years.
When my husband Allen took my hand with tears in his eyes and said, "Only you can save her," I agreed without hesitation.
When the doctor explained the surgical risks and potential complications, I smiled and nodded my understanding.
My parents said I'd finally learned what sisterly love meant.
Even Allen, who'd always been cold to me, held my hand gently and said, "The surgery's safe. You're so healthy, nothing will go wrong. When you recover, I'll take you to Hawaii."
But they don't know that no matter how the surgery goes, I won't be around to celebrate.
Because I just got my own test results—I have terminal brain cancer. I'm going to die anyway.
After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
