Brattys Wicked (Bratty) · Ongoing · 32.1k Words
Introduction
As they pressed against the cool, metal shelves, Tex’s hands roamed her body, discovering the contours of her curves as she responded with soft gasps that sparked more fervor within him. Being wanted, carved by their instincts, overwhelmed them both. Each moment became a dance of passion, an unrelenting pursuit of pleasure that was more primal than anything Tex had ever experienced.
In the heart of Texas, 28‑year‑old Tex Stone is the definition of laid‑back good ol’ boy—funny, loyal, happiest in the woods with his friends and a cold drink in his hand. He wants simple things: a quiet life, true love, and someone to share the campfire with.
But on one wild camping trip, everything changes.
What starts as a night of jokes and stargazing turns deadly when the “wolves” they hear in the dark aren’t a distant pack—but a solitary predator that chooses Tex as its only victim. One bite, and his life is split in two.
As the full moon rises after that fateful night, Tex realizes the truth:
he’s become a werewolf.
Now he’s caught in a brutal battle between the man he’s always been and the beast clawing under his skin. With his senses sharpening and his hunger growing, every touch and every glance threatens to spiral into something raw and uncontrollable—especially around the one person his heart has always wanted.
Can Tex control the monster inside long enough to protect the people he loves?
Or will the curse consume him, turning his search for love into a dangerous, wild adventure where the line between man and beast disappears?
Chapter 1
Tex Stone leaned back against the gnarled trunk of an ancient oak tree, soaking in the warmth of the Texas sun filtering through the bright green leaves above. The light danced on the ground, casting dappled patterns that mimicked the effortless flow of time on this perfect summer day. The comforting scent of pine mingled with smoke from the crackling campfire nearby, a scent that always felt like home. Laughter rang out from his friends, the familiar sound wrapping around him like a warm blanket, and Tex found himself smiling, his heart light.
Tex was the quintessential laid-back stoner, embodying the carefree spirit of the Texas plains. His days revolved around simple pleasures: good friends, the occasional herbs and a dream of finding true love one day. He had always believed that he would stumble across that love amid laughter and bonfires, just like this one.
“Hey, Tex! Pass the marshmallows!” called out Jake, the life of their little group. With his beard and boisterous laughter, he had a knack for turning the ordinary into an adventure. Tex chuckled and tossed the bag of marshmallows across the fire with a grin, watching as Jake cackled with delight, catching the bag just in time.
Sitting there, surrounded by friends — Megan, Jake, Kyle — they roasted marshmallows, competing to see who could create the perfect golden-brown snack. Each successful roast was celebrated with cheers and laughter. It was moments like these that reminded Tex how fortunate he was to have such close bonds, to feel this sense of camaraderie. Life was good, and he was blissfully unaware of how quickly it could all change.
As twilight descended, painting the sky with hues of violet and azure, an unexpected chill crept into the air. The vibrant sounds of the forest were amplified in the dimming light — the rustle of leaves, the hoot of an owl, the crackle of the fire. A tinge of unease flickered in the back of Tex's mind, but he brushed it off. “Just the woods,” he muttered to himself, taking a long drag from his joint, the smoke swirling away like his worries.
“Alright, everyone! Story-time!” Kyle exclaimed, his voice ringing out across the campsite as he playfully pointed a finger at Tex. “You know Tex has the best ghost stories!”
“Ha! You really want me to scare the crap out of you guys?” Tex replied, grinning. “What if I told you about the old legends of the woods? You know, the tales of beasts that roam when the moon is full?”
Megan rolled her eyes, but there was a nervous smile on her face as she settled in closer to the fire. “Oh come on, Tex. Don’t tell me you actually believe in that stuff?”
As the night grew darker, casting shadows that danced among the trees, Tex started recounting tales of old legends, voices low and eerie. They spoke of wolves that walked on two legs and the curse of the full moon — stories meant to send chills down the spine. The laughter began to fade, replaced by an unsettling tension from the unknown, and Tex began to wonder if he should have kept these stories to himself.
Then suddenly, the laughter truly stopped.
A low, menacing growl pierced the stillness, and the friendly chatter was replaced by an oppressive silence. The sound vibrated through Tex’s body, causing him to freeze mid-sentence. Heart racing, he turned toward the tree line where the darkness seemed to thicken. “Just a deer,” he said so quickly. The lie felt flimsy even to his ears, but he was desperate to maintain a sense of calm.
But the instinctual fear curling deep in his stomach told him otherwise.
Within moments, the shadows shifted dangerously, and before Tex could register what was happening, panic erupted among his friends. Thick, dark shapes moved behind the trees, creeping closer in deliberate silence. Then, from the depths of the woods, emerged what they thought were wolves — sleek, powerful shadows slinking toward the glow of the campfire, their eyes glinting like shards of glass.
“Run!” Jake shouted, his voice cutting through the air, and the group scrambled for safety. Inside, Tex felt terror clawing at his throat as his instincts kicked in. Every story, every legend he had ever heard about the woods flooded back, a paralyzing mix of fear and disbelief.
In the chaos, Tex stumbled backward, desperately searching for a way out. He could hear the screams of his friends echoing in the distance, the sound of branches snapping underfoot. But suddenly — a searing pain sliced across his forearm, sharp claws raking against his skin. He looked down in shock, realizing he was the only one injured in the fray.
Terror engulfed him completely as he stumbled back into the underbrush, struggling to escape whatever nightmare had just invaded their peaceful evening. He was shaken, breathless, blood trickling down his arm, but the fear that riveted through him was inexplicable — more potent than anything he had experienced before.
Hours later, after adrenaline had faded and darkness fully enveloped him, Tex lay awake, staring up at the full moon hanging high in the sky like a malevolent guardian. It shone with an eerie brilliance, illuminating the surrounding clearing. Here in the night, alone with his thoughts, he felt different — a strange unease gnawed at him.
He was restless. A gnawing craving stirred deep within, instinctive and primal, thrumming beneath his skin like a live wire. He couldn’t shake it, despite the telling of tales and the closure he’d hoped to feel with the night. Tex closed his eyes tight, willing himself to sleep, but it was elusive, teasing him, whispering secrets of darkness in the corners of his mind.
With each breath, the unspeakable truth loomed larger in his consciousness. Something had changed in him that night — the transformation lay just underneath the surface, bubbling and raw, ready to unleash itself. What he had witnessed, the chaos, the fear, and the pain, would haunt him for what felt like an eternity.
Finally, the quiet of the forest settled around him. Each crackle of a twig, every rustle of the leaves, felt amplified, as if nature itself was aware of the shift in his being. Tex swallowed hard, the taste of dread mixing with uncertainty.
At that moment, he did what he had always done — he leaned into hope. Maybe it was just a nightmare, a result of too much smoke and too many ghost stories. The night would pass, dawn would rise, and everything would return to normal. When the sun broke over the horizon, it would wash away the darkness, and perhaps he would be able to shake off the unease that lingered in his bones.
But little did he know — the true nightmare had only just begun. That night marked the inception of an insatiable hunger, a primal instinct that would blur the lines between man and beast, reality and nightmare. As Tex lay beneath the full moon, he couldn't begin to fathom the trials and tribulations that awaited him, or the journey that would lead him to embrace his fate.
As the first hints of dawn crept into the sky, the world around him began to stir, as nature awoke from its slumber. But with the light came shadows, and with those shadows rushed the promise of change. Tex Stone, the laid-back stoner, would soon discover that his life was about to take a twist he had never anticipated — a transformation that would lead him to the edge of darkness and an identity he had never imagined.
The journey was only beginning, and the beast within him was waiting, ready to awaken.

Triplet Alpha: My Fated Mates
"No." "I'm fine."
"Fuck," he breathes. "You're—"
"Don't." My voice cracks. "Please don't say it."
"Aroused." He says it anyway. "You're aroused."
"I'm not—"
"Your scent." His nostrils flare. "Kara, you smell like—"
"Stop." I cover my face with my hands. "Just—stop."
Then his hand on my wrist, pulling my hands away.
"There's nothing wrong with wanting us," he says softly. "It's natural. You're our mate. We're yours."
"I know." My voice is barely a whisper.

On my eighteenth birthday, everything changed. My first shift released a scent of white musk and first snow—and three former tormentors stood outside my door, claiming I was their fated mate. All three of them.
Overnight, the debt vanished. Asher's commands turned to vows, Blake's fists became trembling apologies, and Cole swore they'd been waiting for me all along. They declared me their Luna and promised to spend their lives atoning.
My wolf howls to accept them. But one question haunts me:
Would that eleven-year-old girl, freezing and certain she would die, forgive the choice I'm about to make?
