Introduction
As her dhampir abilities emerge, so do the enemies who would see her captured or destroyed. A powerful vampire named Valerian wants her for reasons unknown, and the bond between her and Lucian is growing stronger—pulling her deeper into a fate she never chose.
With her life hanging in the balance, Evangeline must uncover the truth about her past, control the power rising inside her, and decide if she can truly trust the man whose hunger for her is both her greatest protection… and her greatest threat.
In a world of blood and betrayal, love may be the most dangerous thing of all.
Chapter 1
The city pulsed with life beneath the silver glow of the full moon. Neon lights flickered, and the sound of distant laughter mixed with the hum of passing cars. Yet, within the walls of a grand estate on the outskirts of town, a girl stood on the precipice of a life she never imagined.
Evangeline Sinclair had never felt like she truly belonged. Raised in privilege yet haunted by an unshakable sense of otherness, she often found herself staring into the mirror, searching for an answer that never came. Her father, a cold and distant businessman, dismissed her questions about her mother, who had died when she was just a baby. All she knew was that her mother had been different—unlike anyone else in the world.
Tonight, something was different. A strange heat coursed through her veins, an aching hunger she had never known. Her senses sharpened—the ticking of the antique clock in the hallway rang in her ears, and she could hear the rustling of leaves outside, as if whispered secrets rode the wind. A scent—rich, intoxicating—filled her nostrils, making her stomach twist with longing.
She stumbled toward the open balcony, gripping the railing as a wave of dizziness struck her. Below, a lone figure stood in the courtyard, his presence sending a jolt through her body. He was tall, imposing, and undeniably beautiful. The moonlight bathed him in an ethereal glow, illuminating his sharp features and piercing crimson eyes.
And then, he moved.
In the blink of an eye, he was in front of her. Evangeline gasped, her heart hammering wildly in her chest.
"You’re awakening," he murmured, his voice smooth as velvet. "I’ve been waiting for you."
She should have run, screamed, demanded answers. But instead, she could only stare, captivated by the stranger who seemed to know more about her than she did herself.
The night her true nature was revealed had finally arrived.
Evangeline’s breath came in short, shallow gasps. "Who are you?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.
The man took a slow step closer, his gaze never leaving hers. "Someone who has been watching over you from the shadows," he said. "My name is Lucian. And you, Evangeline, are not what you have been led to believe."
Her fingers tightened on the balcony railing. "What are you talking about?" Her voice wavered, caught between fear and an unexplainable curiosity.
Lucian’s lips curved into a knowing smile. "Your blood calls to me. It always has. Because you are not just human. You are dhampir—born of both human and vampire blood. And now, your true nature is finally waking up."
The world tilted around her as the words sank in. Dhampir. The word felt foreign yet eerily familiar, as though it had been buried deep within her all along. "That’s impossible," she breathed.
Lucian reached out, his fingers ghosting over her wrist. At his touch, a pulse of energy surged through her, sending a shiver down her spine. "Your body knows the truth, even if your mind resists it," he said. "But you don’t have to face this alone. I will help you understand what you are."
Evangeline’s heart pounded, a storm of emotions raging inside her. Everything she thought she knew about herself, her family—her very existence—was crumbling around her. And yet, deep inside, she felt the stirrings of something powerful, something that had always been there, waiting to be set free.
The night was only just beginning.
A sudden crash from inside the mansion made her jump. Evangeline turned sharply, her pulse quickening. She could hear the distant shouts of the household staff and the unmistakable sound of something—or someone—forcing their way inside.
Lucian’s expression darkened. "They’ve come for you," he said, his voice now edged with urgency. "We need to leave. Now."
Fear coiled in her stomach, but before she could question him, Lucian wrapped an arm around her waist. In the next instant, the world blurred around her as they vanished into the night.
The air rushed past her, cold and sharp, as they moved with unnatural speed. Her breath caught in her throat, her mind struggling to grasp what was happening. One moment she had been standing on her balcony, and the next, she was somewhere else entirely—a darkened alley, far from the estate.
Evangeline stumbled as Lucian released her. "Where—where are we?" she asked, her voice unsteady.
"Somewhere safe, for now," Lucian replied. His gaze flickered toward the street beyond the alley. "But they won’t stop hunting you. You are more valuable than you realize."
She swallowed hard. "Who are they?"
Lucian hesitated before answering. "Vampires who fear what you might become."
Evangeline’s blood ran cold. "And what exactly am I becoming?"
Lucian took a step closer, his voice dropping to a whisper. "Something powerful. Something that could change everything."
Before she could press for more answers, a sudden movement at the alley’s entrance caught Lucian’s attention. He moved faster than she could follow, pressing her back against the cold brick wall as he shielded her with his body.
"Stay quiet," he murmured, his breath warm against her skin.
Evangeline’s pulse roared in her ears. Footsteps echoed down the alley, slow and deliberate. A figure emerged from the shadows, cloaked in darkness, their red eyes gleaming like embers in the night.
Lucian’s grip on her tightened. "They found us."
Evangeline barely had time to react before the figure lunged.
Lucian moved in a blur, intercepting the attacker mid-air. A clash of inhuman speed and strength erupted in front of her as she pressed herself against the wall, watching in stunned silence. The alley was filled with the sounds of snarls and the sharp clash of fists striking flesh.
Her instincts screamed at her to run, but her legs refused to obey. Something inside her stirred, a pulse of raw energy unlike anything she had ever felt. Her vision sharpened, the darkness peeling away to reveal every detail—Lucian’s swift movements, the predatory gleam in the attacker’s eyes, the faint flicker of moonlight reflecting off sharpened fangs.
Then, the assailant turned, their gaze locking onto her. A cruel smile twisted their lips. "The princess awakens at last," they sneered.
Evangeline’s breath caught. Princess?
Before she could process their words, Lucian struck a final, brutal blow, sending the vampire crashing into the far wall. The figure slumped, unmoving.
Lucian turned to her, his expression unreadable. "We need to go. Now."
Evangeline hesitated for only a moment before reaching for his outstretched hand. Whatever was happening to her, whoever she truly was—there was no turning back now.

By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Triplet Alpha: My Fated Mates
"No." "I'm fine."
"Fuck," he breathes. "You're—"
"Don't." My voice cracks. "Please don't say it."
"Aroused." He says it anyway. "You're aroused."
"I'm not—"
"Your scent." His nostrils flare. "Kara, you smell like—"
"Stop." I cover my face with my hands. "Just—stop."
Then his hand on my wrist, pulling my hands away.
"There's nothing wrong with wanting us," he says softly. "It's natural. You're our mate. We're yours."
"I know." My voice is barely a whisper.
I spent ten years as a ghost in the Sterling mansion—a debt slave to the triplet Alphas who made my life hell. They called me "Carrot," shoved me into frozen rivers, and left me to die in the snow when I was eleven.
On my eighteenth birthday, everything changed. My first shift released a scent of white musk and first snow—and three former tormentors stood outside my door, claiming I was their fated mate. All three of them.
Overnight, the debt vanished. Asher's commands turned to vows, Blake's fists became trembling apologies, and Cole swore they'd been waiting for me all along. They declared me their Luna and promised to spend their lives atoning.
My wolf howls to accept them. But one question haunts me:
Would that eleven-year-old girl, freezing and certain she would die, forgive the choice I'm about to make?
