Introduction
"But there's something about you that makes me come closer," I said boldly despite his eyes screaming the word dangerous.
He roughly pinned me against the wall, taking a whiff of my scent. "Do you know who you are talking to? No dragon has ever been a match for me, and no lady has ever satisfied my sexual needs, so be careful, little one, because you might likely be wishing for death."
I should have been scared, but my wolf found him fascinating, so I leaned closer and said, "Well, I'm the one to come close enough to tame your untameable dragon."
If you are a fan of reading about the prince charming coming to save the lady in distress, then this isn't for you, because the lady in distress would be the only key to calm the ticking monster from unleashing its wrath on the people.
Garcia is a young lady who had one job, which was to flee for safety, but she ended up fleeing into the hands of the man who is not just a monster but also contributed to the deaths of her pack. Now his enemy also wants her so badly. Would they fight over her, or would they be ready to share her?
Chapter 1
Hello guys! I'm the author of this book. I'd appreciate it if you could add the book to your shelves. I know I'm asking too much of you, but please don't skip the book without caring to add it to your shelves. I'm on my knees because it'll be an encouragement to me, and it'll help me to give frequent updates. I had planned a rollercoaster of emotions. Dropping your comments will give me ideas on how to make every page a turner. Thank you for embarking on the journey with me.
Garcia's POV
The bloodbath, the death, and the screaming of agony made me jolt in fear. I immediately woke up and found myself in the forest, where I had slept. My heart was aching, and tears burned my eyes; I couldn't move, nor could I say a word. I remembered what happened to me and how I ended up in the forest. My heart was beating erratically, and I noticed that the place was still dark. I was trying hard to decipher my environment, and I was glad that I was safe. I remembered the way both my parents were killed, so I had to run away to avoid any more disappointment.
Tears filled my eyes, and I just needed to calm my nerves. I drew in a sharp breath while trying to adjust to my environment. The feeling was still new to me; this was the first time I found myself in such a crucial situation, and it made me slightly restless. So I stood up from the ground. I needed to find shelter because I didn't want to end up like a rogue wolf. The forest was still dark, so it made me scared. I couldn't find my way ahead; my heart was beating so fast, and I wanted to get rid of every thought of pain and misfortune. I was running so fast; I could feel the tears threatening to fall on my cheeks; I could feel the pain, the hurt, and the agony. I tried as hard as possible to keep calm, but everything was hurting while I was thinking about what I had experienced before coming here.
But then I heard the loud sound of horses trooping in my direction. I was breathing so hard. I recalled how I had narrowly escaped death—how my parents were killed right in front of my eyes. I don't want to experience that again. I closed my eyes and told myself that everything was going to be alright, but I could also feel my wolf; she was as scared as I was. So I immediately started running even faster. I could hear the sound of trooping horses getting closer. I was so scared, and I didn't know how to escape.
I clearly remember how those groups of dragons came and burned the entire pack and left our houses with nothing. Other people were riding horses; they came to finish off any survivors. It made me very restless and uncomfortable when I thought of how my mother cried and my father gave up his life to save me. Guilt haunted me as those thoughts seeped in. But then I heard the voice of the riders: "There she is; she's sitting over there." When I heard that, I closed my eyes and waited for death because there was no use fighting. But then I remembered, my brother, that I'd do anything to be with him.
I remembered how he had run away; I had to find him at least. So, with a heavy breath, I stood up and started running towards the deepest part of the forest, despite knowing that they had already seen me and that their horses were getting closer. I still wanted to find a way out of this situation, so I urged myself and continued running.
The thought of everything came like a shocking bolt. "Get her!" one of the men yelled at the top of his voice, so they increased their speed, and so did I. Even though I knew for sure that I couldn't compete with the speed of a horse, I still managed. With a heavy sigh, I came to a halt when I saw where I was. I was standing on high land, and below was water flowing in waves.
It was clear that it was a river and that it was leading somewhere. I attempted to see the end of the angry waves, but it was unending. No, I can't jump into that deep and angry water. I turned to see the horses getting closer and closer. "Faster and get a hold of her," one of the men yelled even louder this time. I turned to look into his eyes; he had a scar beside his right eye. I was terrified; I couldn't move an inch, and my body wavered. But then I had just three seconds to think; I had to jump or be caught and eventually tortured.
'Jump,' my wolf sounded so loud that I lost my balance, and I ended up falling to the ground. I closed my eyes and waited for the pain. The place was so high to the extent that it took twenty long seconds before I landed in the water. I didn't know how to swim, yet I ended up landing. In such a mess, I tried swimming, but my body felt heavy, and when I looked down, I noticed my leg was stuck between two rocks. I can't swim either, nor can I remove my leg from between the rocks. I was struggling and calling out for help. The pain was too much for me to bear; as if that's not enough, I heard a loud rumbling wave; it was aiming at me, and it was unwaveringly fierce. I closed my eyes and waited for death.
There was only one wish I had, which was to at least get the opportunity to meet my brother again, but I couldn't. It made me feel like I had failed, and I felt even more guilty. I was lacking air, so I opened my mouth to breathe, but I ended up gulping a huge chunk of water. And I had already given in to death.
The darkness enveloped me and overtook me. It was almost like an eternity when I was brought to the light. And I saw a young man with long silver hair; his long lashes fluttered, and his golden-hued eyes melted my soul. He was wearing white linen clothes matching his silver hair; his lips were the purest red; and his silky hair made me awed in fascination as I stared at him. I touched his face, and I felt the softness of it; it reminded me of a baby's skin.
Then I asked, "Am I in heaven, and are you an angel?"

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...
