Introduction
Chapter 1
A hooded figure walked the hallways of the prestigious Rosevale high, frantically searching for her class.
Oh no! Not again she muttered her forehead creasing. A ripple of gasps swept through the hallway. The sound of feet pounding the floors of the hallway could be heard from a mile away, phones flew into the air and voices rose like crashing waves. A crowd of excited students pushed past each other, stretching out their necks, screaming a name, desperate for a glimpse.
Another popular student has arrived, with a lot of crowd this time. It seemed he was the most popular of them all.
Squeezing through past the sea of bodies, then heading down the hallway, she finally found her designated classroom.
She pushed the door open after two nervous breathes and stepped in anxiously.
It was a well known fact that students at Rosevale high were spoilt, rude brats but she didn't expect them to misbehave in the presence of the teacher.
Some were taking selfies, going live, gaming and applying makeup, totally ignoring the presence of the teacher.
Adjusting her hoodie, she moved away from the doorway letting it close, it's sound drawing every attention to her.
She moved to the teacher with shaky knees wondering why the stares were getting to her.
You have a new classmate the teacher said before turning to her. Introduce yourself my dear.
“ Hi everyone, I'm Akira D. Octavio.
Does the D stand for Donovan asked blue haired girl making her classmates scoff and snicker.
That's not possible, it probably stands for a d**k, a Donovan wouldn't be dressed like this low-life a cute looking boy said while sizing her up.
That's enough! Stop being mean to your new class mate and welcome her with open arms.
Maybe you should welcome her with open arms yourself, you too belong to the same class anyway, and stop telling us what to do a blonde girl rudely retorted.
The teacher obviously used to treatments like this did nothing or said nothing other than asked Akira to find a seat.
She found the closest seat to the window sat down and began taking notes on her PC.
So engrossed in the lesson was she, she didn't notice who walked in or the catcalling from the boys. She also didn't know the person was standing.
Someone tell the low-life secretary to get off the CEO's seat the rude girl said slamming her PC shut with force.
Akira wanted a quiet highschool life but she wasn't going to tolerate bullying of any kind.
Careful there, you won't want to break something thrice the amount of your fake hair blonde, she retorted holding the gaze of the other girl fearlessly.
The girl was taken aback, she didn't expect her to talk back at her.
How dare you talk back at me, don't think you're worth it just because you were lucky enough to be admitted here on scholarship, you're just worthless trash who's contaminating the air in this school.
Then find another seat, don't tell me you want to share the same seat with this filthy trash?.
You're not getting away with this, said the girl before walking away in defeat.
Before we proceed let's do a little introduction of Rosevale high.
Rosevale high is a school for the wealthy, with state of the art facilities and world class teachers. It was the best school in the country,a school only the wealthy could afford.
The students who attended were rich and popular, some of them celebrities and children of celebrities like the children in Akira's class.
It was time for lunch after two more lessons. Akira picked up her back pack and left the classroom and was heading to the cafeteria when she collided against a dark haired girl knocking down her books.
I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to, Akira apologized while helping the girl pick up the scattered books.
It's fine mistakes happened, she responded with a smile surprising Akira.
I'm Violet she said extending a hand to a shocked Akira. Akira shook her hand still feeling puzzled.
Wipe that surprised look off your face, there's still a few good people at this school Akira, and don't be surprised I know your name, you are already popular thanks to your hoodie.
Anyways do you mind walking me to the library to drop this books, then we can go get lunch together, and oh the squad would be so pleased to meet you said violet pulling her with her.
I don't think I have a choice here do I? You're already stringing me along.
The two girls headed to the cafeteria after returning the books at the library.
Ignore them, violet said pulling her towards a group of students seated at the far end of the cafeteria.

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
From first crush to wedding vows, George Capulet and I had been inseparable. But in our seventh year of marriage, he began an affair with his secretary.
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...

A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
