Introduction
When she gets accepted into a 90-day elite hockey program, filled with experienced players and newbies, she sees it as her chance to finally get noticed and take her hockey career to another level.
But she never expected Nolan Hayes to be there.
Nolan is her older brother, Brian's best friend, handsome, wealthy and talented who have known each other for years, but Nolan and Brynlee have never really been close. She used to have a little crush on him, but she gave up on it a long time ago because she never thought he would see her in that light.
Now they are living in the same house and training together for the next 90 days.
Brynlee wants to focus on hockey and prove that she deserves to be there.
Nolan doesn't seem interested in getting close to her either. But as the days go by, things between them slowly start to change.
With competition, new friendships and unexpected feelings getting in the way, Brynlee soon realizes that these 90 days might change more than just her hockey career.
Chapter 1
Brynlee's Pov
I woke up that morning with huge smile on my face. I was just certain today was going to be a great day. I jumped out of bed in haste and entered the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. Then I left my room to the kitchen where I was greeted with the smell of pancakes and sweet coffee.
"Good morning Parents" I sang
Dad who was frying the pancakes, still in his pyjamas turned around and beamed
" Morning kiddo. You woke up on the right side of the bed didn't you?
I laughed, " Certainly.
Mum quietly listened as she beat the eggs
" I and your dad are going to see my aged mother. So I want you to be of best behavior
I rolled my eyes" Mum, I'm not a baby! I'm 19?
She smiled " Just be a good girl..
I didn't want my mood to ruined this morning. My parents always do this. I don't even go out much, except to run errands or visit my childhood friend, Vanessa.
" Mum she's always being a good girl.. this overprotectiveness will not help her to grow " My older brother, Brian chipped in.
He strolled in sleepily still in his pajamas. I gave him a grateful look.
" Good morning, mom and dad"
They grumbled a good morning while he took his seat beside me.
" Right mom. I'm not a child. Soon when I go to college, you'll hardly see me I promise!" I said
Mum gasped while Brian bursted into laughter..
" You are unbelievable!" She looked at her husband for support, but was denied anything as dad had already plugged in his earphones and was about to leave the kitchen with his dish loaded with pancakes and eggs.
Dad winked at us and left the kitchen while Mom clenched her fist and scowled her face.
" It's still early in the morning Mom. Put on a smiley face please" Brian scoffed as he stood up and collected the spatula from her to serve us breakfast.
She huffed and removed her apron before throwing it on the counter then left the kitchen..
" She's so dramatic!" I giggled..
" Just like you" Brian smirked
I picked up a pancake and threw it on his face. He jumped like a kangaroo and I held my stomach as I laughed. The Walker Family is indeed dramatic.
I watched Brian calmly cleaned his face with a paper towel before adding more pancakes to my plate.
" So any plans for today?
Brian squinted his eyes to think
" Oh right! I'm meeting with a couple of friends and my girlfriend"
I nodded. Brian had lots of friends and I couldn't count how many they were. He's this extroverted guy who everyone liked at the first glance. He was handsome too with curly dark hair and brown eyes and tall bulky features. He also had a beautiful girlfriend, Winifred who was one of the popular cheerleaders girls in college. I was jealous of him sometimes, it seems he just got some kind of luck. Everything just goes smooth for him, let's not talk of his academics. He had straight A's and he's an active member in Basketball.
" Earth to Bryn. What are you thinking about?" Brian snapped his fingers in my face and I sighed.
" It's nothing.
I drew my plate closer and stabbed a warm pancake into my mouth.
" Hold on. Let me serve mom's breakfast in the dining then we'll talk" He gave me a reassuring look and I felt better instantly.
He always knew if I was worried or just have mood swings and he always found a way to make me feel better.
I had already eaten two pancakes when he came back and sat beside me.
" Tell me, what wrong Bryn
I pout my lips " It's just some random thoughts. I've never shared this with you before, I just feel like I need to.
He put his arm around my shoulder
" I'll not judge you"
I sighed again " I guess I'm not just lucky. Everything works out for you and not me"
When I uttered those words, I couldn't help myself but to feel cringe.
" Brynlee. My life isn't perfect as it seems. Yes I have lots of friends, but most times I feel like I'm just on my own. I definitely just have a best friend..
I already knew who it was. They've been friends since forever and he once lived in our neighborhood before they moved away.
" Nolan Hayes?
Brian nodded " Exactly! He's my best buddy and you..?
He smiled at me " You hold a special place in my heart and I'll be the friend you'll never ever replace..
I wanted to cry because I'm just so lucky to have a loving brother. I pulled him into a hug
" Thank you for making me feel better, Brian.
He patted my back and pulled back " It's nothing. Just a big bro looking out for his little sis.
I smiled and continued eating my breakfast. As Brian, sipped coffee, his phone rang.
"Hey man!" Brian's face brightened..
There was a pause before he stood up sharply
" You are in town?...When are you visiting?
I stopped eating until he ended the call and covered his plate
" Who's that?
Brian grinned " Nolan. He's coming to visit me...
I gasped. My heart started pounding in my chest. Nolan Hayes, my brother's best friend, the one I've been crushing on for years but had a feeling he would never look at a tiny girl with no curves. I silently crushed on him for years since I entered puberty. He always visited Brian when he still lived in the neighborhood, but he never really talked to me..
I sighed in resignation and made a decision to spend a long time with Vanessa outside today. I don't want to stay in the same environment with him, maybe because I was shy or just don't know what to say. It's been a year and the half since he last visited Brian and three years since he left the neighborhood..
" He's never going to like me. " I reassured myself and stood up, suddenly losing my appetite.
I went upstairs to my room, to clean up and shower before I placed a phone call to Vanessa asking where we'd meet.

Iron And Glamour Just Don't Mix
Well… Sometimes you just might turn out to be right.
It turns out, the fae stole my little brother. In his place? A pixie with boundary issues and a talent for home repairs.
I’ve spent my life taking care of everyone else. So when my baby brother is taken, I don’t hesitate. I walk straight into a faerie mansion and make a bargain with its infuriatingly charming master.
Kie is everything you’d expect from a dangerous fae, beautiful, political, and entirely too amused by me. Power wrapped in a smirk. Sensual, mischievous, and far too aware of the effect he has on people. He agrees to help me find my brother.
For a price.
Now I’m bound by a faerie bargain and navigating a world of glamour, manipulation, and ancient rules I definitely should have learned sooner, enchanted forests, political games, magical contracts, and a fae lord who treats seduction like a perfectly reasonable negotiation tactic.
Iron is how I keep people out.
Glamour is how he draws them in.
And apparently, they just don’t mix.
Falling for My Boyfriend's Uncle
My boyfriend skipped our anniversary for her—the girl who called me a whore.
He left me walking home in the dark. When my apartment caught fire, he ignored my calls.
But his uncle showed up.
The one with the scarred knuckles and the cop badge. The one who looked at me like he wanted to burn the world down for me—or maybe burn me down instead.
Now, we live under the same roof. Three people. One bed too close.
Every time my boyfriend touches me, I flinch. Every time his uncle looks at me, I burn.
He's dangerous. He's forbidden. He's everything I shouldn't want.
Is he saving me... or does he just want to own me?
Some fires don't just burn. They consume.
Invincible Upon Release: The Strongest Mage
Her family looked down on him, and even she herself said coldly: “You’re not worthy of being my husband.”
Everyone thought this newly released good-for-nothing was just a poor fool who’d taken the fall for his brother.
Thorne said nothing.
He merely raised his hand, gently pressing his bride’s forehead.
In an instant, the chaos in her eyes faded. Holy light surged from beneath the church, shooting into the sky.
The world’s only candidate for the Saintess, blessed with holy power, slowly opened her clear eyes before him.
The Family Books 1-3 (A Mafia romance)
The saint to my sinner. with her innocent eyes and devilish curves.
A Madonna that was meant to be admired but never touched.
Until someone took that innocence from her.
She left.
The darkness in my heart was finally complete.
I avenged her, I killed for her, but she never came back.
Until I saw her again. An angel dancing around a pole for money.
She didn’t know I owned that club. She didn’t know I was watching.
This time I won’t let her escape.
I will make her back into the girl I knew.
Whether she likes it or not.
2/ Judge and Jury- I can’t stop watching her.
I’m not even sure I want to.
Taylor Lawson, blonde, beautiful, and totally oblivious to how much dangers she’s in.
She’s also the one juror in my upcoming murder trial that hasn’t been bought.
The one who can put me behind bars for a very long time.
I know I should execute her.
After all that’s what I do.
I am the Judge.
I eliminate threats to The Family.
And Taylor is a threat.
But I don’t want to kill her.
Possessing her, making her love me seems like a much better plan for this particular Juror.
3/ Rags and Ritches-
Let Them Kneel
Cast out by her pack. Forgotten by the Lycans.
She lived among humans—quiet, invisible, tucked away in a town no one looked at twice.
But when her first heat comes without warning, everything changes.
Her body ignites. Her instincts scream. And something primal stirs beneath her skin—
summoning a big, bad Alpha who knows exactly how to quench her fire.
When he claims her, it’s ecstasy and ruin.
For the first time, she believes she’s been accepted.
Seen.
Chosen.
Until he leaves her the next morning—
like a secret never to be spoken.
But Kaelani is not what they thought.
Not wolfless. Not weak.
There is something ancient inside her. Something powerful. And it’s waking.
And when it does—
they’ll all remember the girl they tried to erase.
Especially him.
She’ll be the dream he keeps chasing… the one thing that ever made him feel alive.
Because secrets never stay buried.
And neither do dreams.
The Rejected Luna’s Rise
Luna Ariana Volkstane slid the formal rejection request across the table. "Let's end this bond. It's better for you, me, and your first love."
He just smirked. "You want me to reject you? You think you can break our bond that easily?"
So she did. Ariana cut ties with him completely, poured herself into her career, and rose to global fame as a legendary healer, her knowledge of rare herbs, wolf anatomy, and ancient magic sought after across continents.
The powerful suitors lined up. The Alpha of an overseas empire whispered, "Ariana, hurry up and perform the severing ritual. I can't wait to claim you." A powerful pack leader vowed, "I'll be there with you the day you break the bond." A legendary wolf attorney promised, "I'll handle your rejection case with the pack council myself."
Ariana just rubbed her temples. It's not that she didn't want the split, she wanted it more than anything, it's just that the Alpha she was mated to refused to let go.
Finally, she announced, "Whoever can officially get me rejected, I'll put you at the head table of my bond-breaking celebration."
Not long after, Alpha Damian was served the official rejection request right in the middle of an emergency pack council meeting. That same afternoon, he was attacked by rogues at the gates of his own territory.
When Ariana showed up at the pack infirmary with healing herbs, she repeated calmly, "Let's sever the mate bond. It's better for you, me, and everyone else."
But the cold, untouchable Alpha pulled her into his arms, his eyes blood-red with fury. "You want me to reject you? Over my dead body."
The Unbreakable Oath
The Devil’s Contract: Kiss Me Like A Lie
The air in the ballroom was suffocating, filled with the scent of expensive wine and predatory Alphas. I felt the familiar, terrifying burn start low in my stomach. My suppressants were failing. I am an Omega pretending to be a Beta, and my fiancé, Reign Montgomery, is a powerful Enigma who believes Omegas are nothing but weak whores.
I rushed to the restroom, locking myself in, praying the scent wouldn't leak. My hands shook as I dialed for help, but the door handle turned. Reign stood there. He didn't look at my face; he grabbed my wrist, pulling it to his nose, inhaling deeply. His dark, soulless eyes bore into mine. "You smell different," he whispered, his voice dangerously low. If he finds out what I really am, I’m dead.
Reign Montgomery promised himself he’d never get involved with an omega. Not romantically, not physically, not even by accident. He doesn’t trust them, doesn’t want them, and refuses to let anyone become a weakness.
Soren Fox has lived his whole life making sure no one ever learns what he truly is. An omega pretending to be a Beta, fighting in underground rings just to survive and keep his sister alive.
But one contract drags them into a dangerous partnership of lies, heat, and power, and when Soren is kidnapped, Reign realizes too late that the omega he never wanted has become the one person he can’t live without.
