Introduction
They called him broken.
They called him the last Omega.
For eighteen years, Vincent Blackwood lived as an outcast in the Silverfang Pack, wolf-less while everyone around him awakened, ranked up, and rose in power.
An embarrassment.
A failure.
A mistake the pack tolerated… until they no longer had to.
Then came the Moon Ceremony.
The night his mate was revealed.
The future Alpha rejected him in front of the entire pack.
Humiliated.
Exiled.
Thrown into the Shadowlands, where even rogues don’t survive.
But the Silverfang Pack made one mistake.
They thought Vincent was powerless.
They thought “Omega” meant weak.
They were wrong.
The Omega bloodline was never gone, it was buried.
And Vincent is its final heir.
Deep within the ruins of a forgotten era, something ancient awakens inside him: a power older than Alphas, stronger than kings, and capable of rewriting the laws of the werewolf world itself.
As outcasts, rogues, and broken wolves begin to rally around him, Vincent realizes a terrifying truth:
Power isn’t measured by who fears you.
It’s measured by who refuses to leave your side.
Now the rejected boy must build something new:
A pack for the forgotten.
A kingdom for the cast aside.
An empire strong enough to challenge the continent.
But enemies are already moving.
The Alpha who rejected him wants him erased.
The Moon Council demands his bloodline be wiped out again.
And something ancient in the dark has already sensed the Omega’s return.
As war brews and buried truths surface, Vincent must choose:
Revenge…
Or revolution.
Because the age of Alphas is ending.
And the Last Omega is rising!
Chapter 1
The Silverfang Pack gathered beneath the Moonfall Cliff.
A vast circle of carved stone stood at the edge of the ancient forest, each slab etched with wolf sigils that pulsed faintly under the night sky. Above them, the full moon hung heavy and bright, too bright like it was watching.
Vincent Blackwood stood at the center of it all.
Barefoot on cold stone, breathing carefully, as if even that could become a mistake.
Whispers moved through the crowd like poison.
“That’s him… the Omega candidate.” “Wolf-less at eighteen.” “Can’t even shift.” “A disgrace to Silverfang blood.”
Vincent kept his eyes forward. Not because he didn’t hear them.
Because he had learned a long time ago that looking at people who hated you only made the pain sharper.
Across the circle stood the Silverfang elite warriors in silver-trimmed armor, their wolf auras already bleeding into the air. Some had already partially shifted: glowing eyes, sharpened claws, faint growls vibrating in their throats.
They were all younger than him, and all stronger.
At the top of the raised platform stood Alpha Darius Blackthorn, future ruler of the pack. Beside him was the Moon Priestess, her face hidden beneath a bone-white veil.
“The Moon Ceremony begins,” the Priestess announced.
The crowd fell silent instantly, even the wind seemed to stop.
Vincent’s pulse tightened.
This was the moment every wolf waited for; the awakening ritual. The Moon would reveal your bond, your path, your destiny. For most, it was the moment they became someone.
For him… it was supposed to prove he wasn’t nothing.
“Step forward,” the Priestess said.
Vincent did. Every step echoed too loudly.
He could feel their eyes burning into him. Waiting, hoping, even, in a cruel way that something would finally go wrong in a way that justified how they already treated him.
He reached the center stone, the Moon Sigil beneath his feet flared faintly.
The Priestess raised her hand. “Call your wolf.”
Vincent closed his eyes. He searched inside himself the way he had been taught since childhood.
Deep breath, deeper. Find the pulse, the instinct, the beast.
Nothing answered. He tried again, still nothing.
A cold emptiness stretched where something was supposed to be.
No growl, no heartbeat, no presence, just silence.
His fingers trembled slightly. Not fear, frustration.
Behind him, someone laughed, then another.
Then the circle started to break. “He’s still empty.”
“Eighteen years and nothing.” “Impossible… even Omegas have a wolf.”
Vincent opened his eyes, for a moment, he almost wished he could see nothing in theirs.
But he saw it all; Pity, disgust, relief, like they were glad it wasn’t them.
Alpha Darius stepped forward. His shadow fell across Vincent like a blade.
“You are still unawakened,” Darius said coldly.
Vincent didn’t respond. There was nothing to say that wouldn’t make it worse.
The Priestess tilted her head slightly. “The Moon still has not responded to you…”
A pause, too long. Then she spoke the words that shifted the air itself.
“Then we proceed to the Mate Revelation.” A ripple went through the crowd.
Vincent’s chest tightened before he even understood why; Mate Revelation, the bond test.
The moment the Moon chooses your other half.
The moment your place in the world becomes real, or is destroyed.
Darius turned his head slightly toward the Priestess. “Proceed.”
The Moon Sigil beneath Vincent’s feet ignited.
Suddenly, silver light shot upward, wrapping around him like chains made of moonlight.
Pain surged through his chest, not physical, but deeper. Something inside him reacting, stretching, pulling toward something unseen.
His vision blurred, and then he saw her, a girl standing at the edge of the circle.
Luna Valen. Daughter of the Moon Council envoy. Pure Silverfang elite. Beautiful in a way that made people lower their heads without realizing it.
Her eyes met his, and for a brief second,
Something flickered; Recognition, then horror.
“No…” she whispered.
The bond tightened violently, Vincent stumbled.
The Moon had chosen, the entire circle erupted in noise.
Gasps, shouts, disbelief. “The Council’s daughter?”
“Mate to him?” “This is impossible!”
Vincent looked at her, not with hope, with confusion.
Because even now, he didn’t understand what he had done to deserve any of this attention.
Luna took one step forward, Just one, then she stopped. Her hands trembled.
“I” she started, her voice cracked.
The Priestess spoke softly, almost regretfully. “Luna Valen. Do you accept the bond?”
Silence. The kind that feels like a noose tightening.
Vincent didn’t move, he didn’t beg, he didn’t reach for her. He just waited.
Because there was nothing else he knew how to do anymore.
Luna’s eyes flickered; Pain, fear, pressure.
Then she looked at Darius, at the pack, at everything she had been raised to become.
And her voice fell like a broken blade. “I… reject.” The words didn’t echo, they detonated.
The bond snapped violently.
Vincent’s body jolted backward as if struck by an invisible force. His breath left him completely. Pain ripped through his chest; sharp, tearing, like something being carved out of his soul.
He hit the ground hard. Silence followed immediately.
No one moved, not even the wind.
The Moon Sigil dimmed above him. Darius stared down at him for a long moment. Then he spoke.
“Vincent Blackwood.” His voice was calm, too calm.
“You are hereby declared an unbonded Omega.”
A murmur spread through the crowd.
The Priestess lowered her head slightly. “By ancient law… an unbonded Omega without wolf presence is unfit for pack standing.”
Vincent slowly pushed himself up.His hands were shaking now, not from pain, from something worse.
Something breaking inside him that he couldn’t name.
Darius continued.“You are stripped of Silverfang status.”
A pause, then the final blow. “And banished.”
The word landed heavier than anything before it.
Vincent looked up. For the first time, his eyes met Darius’s directly.
No submission, no apology, just emptiness.
“You will be escorted to the Shadowlands at dawn,” Darius finished. “Do not return.”
A distant whisper passed through the crowd.
The Shadowlands? Where rogue wolves vanished. Where even bones didn’t last.
Vincent slowly stood. The Moon above him flickered, like it was watching something it didn’t fully understand.
Luna looked away, not because she hated him.
But because she couldn’t look at what she had just destroyed.
Vincent turned slightly, scanning the faces around him. None of them moved, none of them spoke, no one stopped it.
That was the moment he understood something clearly. He wasn’t just unwanted, he was already gone in their minds.
Darius raised his hand. “Remove him.”
Two warriors stepped forward; Silverfang enforcers. They grabbed Vincent’s arms, he didn’t resist.
Not because he was weak.
But because resistance suddenly felt meaningless.
As they dragged him away from the Moon Circle, the crowd finally began to breathe again.
Whispers returned, laughter returned, life continued. Like he had never mattered at all.
As Vincent crossed the boundary stones, the Moon above him dimmed slightly, almost like it was mourning, or waiting.
Then, just before he disappeared into the forest path leading to exile, something strange happened.
The ground beneath his feet trembled, faintly.
Once, then again, a sound rose from deep below, so low it wasn’t quite audible.
Not a wolf’s growl, something older, something wrong.
Vincent stopped walking. The guards pulling him frowned. “Move.” But Vincent didn’t hear them.
Because for the first time in his entire life… Something answered him, deep inside the earth, deep inside himself.
A presence opened its eyes.
And in that same instant, the Moon Sigil on the distant altar cracked.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
