The Mafia Boss's Kitten
Marcel Mercy · Completed · 205.4k Words
Introduction
His thumb invaded my mouth, and my pussy clenched even harder at that move, my eyes getting hooded as Ethan watched me intently.
My tongue moved around his thumb as I sucked hard on it, but just then, he pried his finger out, and I was left gasping hard, my face heated with arousal.
"You are one slutty little red kitten who needs a master to teach her a lesson, hmmm," Ethan whispered, his breath hot against my ear, as his hand hooked in my hair, and he rose to his feet.
What I felt next was the handcuffs slapping shut on both my wrists, the metal cold and heavy on my wrists.
“Now, you can give an answer to my question: did you touch yourself?” Ethan drawled out, his voice heavy with seduction as the gun pressed further into my side belly.
Ruby's life had always been marked by bad luck, starting with her mother's hatred, the betrayal of her best friend, and carrying the child of a hasty one-night stand.
Finally, meeting Ethan seemed to put her life back on track, but that didn't last long, as she soon found herself entangled in a web of mafia wars - a world of guns, bloodshed, and death where even her own life was not guaranteed.
Will she be able to survive it all alive? Perhaps things would be different if Ethan accepted his feelings for her, but in his words, he isn't capable of love.
Chapter 1
Ruby's POV
I turned to Sofia, my best friend, as she stepped onto the stage. Her red dress shimmered under the lights, and her confidence a sight to behold.
"Attention everyone! I have an announcement to make!" Sofia's voice rang out.
The room fell silent. I flashed her an encouraging smile, but my heart sank as I met her gaze. Something was off.
"Actually, two in one…" Sofia's laughter was short-lived, and her eyes snapped to mine. I noticed she was nervous.
"I am pregnant with David Grey's child!" Sofia's words dropped like a bombshell. "And we will be tying the knot in two months! You are all invited to my wedding."
The room erupted into applause, but I remained seated, frozen in shock. David? My David? The man I'd been engaged to for three years?
I pushed through the crowd, my legs trembling. David stood beside Sofia, his eyes locked on mine.
"Ruby, can you calm down and trust me? I'll give you an explanation after the party. Just...don't cause a scene, please," David pleaded.
‘Calm down? Trust him? Was he kidding?’
‘How could they do this to me?’ I thought, my eyes stinging. Three years, wasted. Our memories, our laughter, our tears...all a lie.
Pain seared my chest, threatening to consume me. I felt like I was drowning, unable to breathe.
"David," I whispered, my voice trembling. "How could you?"
I felt numb, my eyes fixed on his worried expression.
Sofia's voice cut through the tension. "David, I just announced our union. What would people think seeing you dote on another woman?"
David's response was firm. "Sofia, enough."
He turned to me, his eyes stern. "Leave now, Ruby. I'll be there immediately after I settle things here."
I nodded, still reeling. As I turned to leave, Sofia's words numbing me like I was struck by a dagger.
I stumbled out of the hall, into the cool night air. The hotel was nearby, but I detoured to the bar.
A mask party was in full swing. Colors and laughter swirled around me, but I felt disconnected.
The bartender raised an eyebrow as I collapsed onto a stool, but I didn't care.
"What would you like to have, miss?" the bartender asked.
"Something strong...I want to forget." My voice was barely audible.
The bartender chuckled, mixing a drink. "Go easy, lady. It's pretty strong."
I downed the drink, feeling the burn. "Give me the whole bottle."
The bartender raised an eyebrow but handed it over.
I spotted a corner table, secluded and shadowy. Perfect for wallowing.
I settled in, nursing my drink, and let the darkness close in.
Thoughts swirled, like a maelstrom, sucking me under.
"Three years," I whispered, staring into the amber liquid. "Three years of love, laughter, and tears. All a lie."
"How did I miss the signs?" I wondered, self-doubt creeping in.
The whiskey-fueled haze blurred my thoughts, but one truth crystallized, David never truly loved me like he claimed.
He loved the idea of me, the convenience of me, the comfort of me. But Sofia...Sofia was the one he desired.
I thought of all the times David canceled plans, citing work or exhaustion. ‘Was he with Sofia then?’
The pain twisted, sharpening into anger.
"How could he do this to me?" I demanded, slamming my fist on the table.
The bartender glanced over, concerned.
I forced a weak smile. "Sorry. Just...bad night."
He nodded and returned to polishing glasses.
My gaze drifted to the couples laughing and chatting around me.
‘Why did everyone else get to be happy while I was left with shattered dreams?’
Tears pricked at the corners of my eyes.
I let them fall, mourning the loss of our relationship.
Tears pricked at the corners of my eyes as I gazed into the whiskey's golden depths.
"Three years of my life," I whispered, the words stinging. Wasted. On a lie.
On a man who never truly loved me.
Sofia's face flashed in my mind, The thought twisted, fueling my anger.
How could David do this? How could Sofia?
The whiskey burned, but I downed another shot. The room spun, colors blurring. But my pain remained.
I slammed my fist on the table again.
This time, the bartender approached.
"Ma'am, maybe you've had enough?"
I nodded, defeated.
He gently took the bottle.
As he walked away, I whispered, "Yeah...enough."
Enough heartache. Enough lies. Enough.
As I stood up, the room spun. I grasped the table, steadying myself.
"That's enough for tonight, Ruby!" I slurred.
I stumbled into the elevator, desperate to escape the b
sympathetic gazes of the onlookers.
Just as the doors closed, a stranger rushed in, breathing heavily.
His sharp profile caught my attention, but his erratic behavior put me on guard.
‘Great, just what I need,’ I thought, wary.
The elevator lurched to a stop. The lights flickered.
"No, no, no!" I rushed forward and pounded on the door.
The stranger collapsed behind me, struggling to remove his tie while mummering something inaudible.
I slowly made my way to his side to helped him, my fingers brushing against his.
A spark of electricity ran through me.
‘Who is this guy?’ I wondered.
His eyes met mine. For an instant, our gazes locked. Something flickered in the depth of his eyes.
"Stop it, Ruby," I chastised myself. "Not now." The alarm blared. The lights dimmed reminding me of the situation I was currently stuck in.
"Hey!" I screamed as the stranger's weight pinned me down. Panic set in.
"Get off me!" I pushed at him.But his grip only tightened.
Fear and adrenaline coursed through me. ‘Why can't I move?’ I thought. Suddenly verything went black.
When I came to, the stranger lay beside me. His legs tangled with mine. My clothes were disheveled.
"Oh God, what happened?" I asked. Mortification washed over me as I scrambled to cover myself.
"It wasn't supposed to happen," I heard him mutter. His rough voice sent shivers down my spine.
"What weren't supposed to happen?" I demanded. His eyes locked onto mine and i felt a flutter in my chest.
‘No,’’ I told myself. ‘Don't even think about it.’
The elevator doors opened and I didn't waste another second, I sprinted out.
"Wait!" I heard the stranger call out to me but i didn't look back.

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.

A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
Invisible To Her Bully

His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.

And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
