Introduction
To escape the suffocating pain, I fled abroad, trying to forget my shattered past. But upon my return, I found myself wanting to end this loveless marriage, only to be manipulated by my father and drawn into the orbit of a powerful billionaire. As our connection deepened, I uncovered a shocking truth: he was not only my legal husband but also the father of my long-lost child.
In that moment of revelation, my heart felt scalded with betrayal and despair. Fate’s cruel twist forced me to confront my past choices and the agony of a fragmented family, plunging me into a tumultuous battle for love, acceptance, and the chance to reclaim what I thought I had lost forever.
Chapter 1
"No! You're planning to divorce him. If something happens now, can you still get the divorce?" A voice screamed in her head, making Nancy Taylor freeze. She tried to get up with the last bit of rationality she had, but the guy beneath her was strong, making her unable to break free.
As the drug kicked in, Nancy lost control. Her eyes glazed over as she stared at the man's tightly closed lips, and she couldn't help but swallow.
Earlier, Nancy had stumbled into the room and found the guy asleep on the bed. She meant to wake him up but ended up pushing him over and falling on top of him. Just as she was about to leave, he suddenly grabbed her hand.
The touch on her wrist made Nancy want more. She felt like her body was on fire and let out a painful moan.
Nancy thought, 'After marrying him, I didn't get any benefits. It's not too much to let him serve me once, right? We're still legally married, so this is normal. I was just drugged; he'll understand. Just this once. And I'm so beautiful, he won't lose out.'
With that thought, Nancy's last bit of rationality vanished. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and kissed him. Just as she imagined, he tasted amazing. A kiss wasn't enough to quench Nancy's fire. She slipped her hand into his shirt and started to caress him. Surprisingly, the guy had a great physique.
Under her teasing, his desire began to rise. He opened his eyes and looked at the woman above him, but all he could see were a pair of beautiful eyes.
Nancy's inexperienced kissing and clumsy teasing made him uncomfortable. He flipped her over, pressing her beneath him, and kissed her deeply. His large hands roamed over Nancy's tender thighs, moving upward.
Under the influence of the drug, Nancy didn't find anything wrong. Instead, she went along with his actions, eagerly trying to unbutton his shirt but failing.
He pressed down her restless hands, sat up, and took off his shirt. Then he removed Nancy's clothes piece by piece. When they were both naked, his eyes darkened.
"Hurry up..." Nancy writhed. The drug made her extremely uncomfortable. She grabbed his hand as if it were the only water in a desert. Hearing Nancy's plea, he no longer hesitated and leaned down.
At the moment of entry, both of them couldn't help but let out satisfied moans. Nancy, relieved by the drug, even shed a couple of tears.
At first, Nancy enjoyed it. The drug's effect brought immense pleasure to both of them. But gradually, she noticed something was off about him, thinking, 'Isn't he supposed to be on the brink of death? How could he have such stamina?'
Nancy was shocked. When she married William Brown, she only knew he was a man who could die at any moment. He was even unconscious in the ICU on their wedding day. Five years later, not only was he still alive, but he looked amazing and was a beast in bed. Was that frail body just an act William had put on?
Noticing Nancy's distraction, William sped up his movements, leaving her no room to think about anything else. When he finally slowed down, Nancy took advantage of the dim light from the bedside lamp to see his face clearly. It wasn't the pale, sickly face she had imagined. Instead, it was chiseled and incredibly handsome.
No one would think such a man was terminally ill. For a moment, Nancy felt a bit sorry for him and sighed inwardly, 'He's so handsome, but his life is tragically short. Who is he? He can even make my usually arrogant adoptive father so fearful!'
As his movements quickened, Nancy had no chance or energy to think about anything else. She clung to his shoulders, her body moving in sync with his, both of them lost in the sea of desire.
After a night of madness, they fell into a deep sleep. When Nancy woke up, it was already daylight. Her head was pounding, but the events of last night were crystal clear. She shook her head and looked around, wanting to drink some water to soothe her hoarse throat.
There was bottled water on the TV cabinet. She tried to get up to get it, but the discomfort from below made her fall back onto the bed. Her waist ached, and her legs were weak. Her throat was also hoarse. William, who was supposed to be weak, was so vigorous. Could he have been drugged too?
Looking at the sleeping William on the bed, Nancy felt very conflicted.
Five years ago, under her adoptive father's coercion, she married William. Who knew that in five years, they wouldn't see each other even once, and their first meeting would lead to this? She hadn't planned to meet William, but her grandmother's words changed her mind.
Her grandmother said, "Nancy, you two are legally married. No matter what, you should meet and talk. Say what needs to be said. As for the divorce... I respect your decision."
So she agreed to meet William. But before meeting him, her adoptive father invited her to dinner, threatening and bribing her, essentially telling her not to offend William and to try to please him.
During the meal, he even showed her a rare bit of kindness, so Nancy drank a few sips of wine without any guard. Now she realized he must have drugged the wine. The father she once respected turned out to be a sinister man.
Nancy stopped thinking about it. She endured the discomfort, got dressed, and drank a bottle of water. When she looked at the welcome card on the table, she was stunned.
It read: [Dear Mr. Smith, welcome to your stay...]
"Mr. Smith?" Nancy rubbed her eyes and looked again. The card indeed said Mr. Smith, not Mr. Brown.
Nancy was dumbfounded, thinking, 'I have entered the wrong room and slept with the wrong person! What should I do now?'

"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

With his deep blue eyes fixed on mine, he spoke softly: "Sephie... short for Persephone... Queen of the Underworld. At last, I have found you." Confused by his words, I stammered out a question, “P..pardon? What does that mean?”

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...
