Chapter 1
Winter one of the coldest seasons. The season where most animals to warmer climates. I often wonder what it would be like to fly away and to soar. I spent most of my childhood staring out the window. Dreaming of being somewhere else. For seventeen years the same thought pops into my head why must I be born. With no mother to dry my tears, to braid my hair, and to help me get ready for school and to kiss me goodbye. And not having a father who would do any thing for his little girl, someone who would scare all the boys' away from her any one who fancied her because no one would be good enough for his little princess. But thats not my life instead of a family I had a broken home. A dead mother I never got to know. I never got to know what she sounded like or what she looked like though the older I got the more my nanny would say I looked like her. But I want to know how much I really look like her. But I will never know. My questions will never be answered I know the whole pack dispise me for I am the reason the pack no longer has a Luna. The very reason my father has nothing but hatred for me and can't even stand to be in the same room as me. I'll tell you the reason I am the cause of my mothers death I took away my fathers happiness and for that I must pay. As I continue to stare out the window a young she wolf catches my eye her name I believe is Ruby St. Claire. She was the beta's daughter and it seemed life came so easy for her. Growing up I was always jealous of her, her moms alive and her dad shows nothing but unconditional love and she now walks with her mate Jasper, he was the lead warrior in our pack apparently he was the best of the best. when I was younger I wanted to be just like her. She was surrounded by friends and family she was allowed to go to school. One priveledge I was not to have. That's right I wasn't even permitted to attend school, My father felt it wasn't necessary because I wasn't smart anyway is how my father put it. I remember being eight years old I saw my father talking to his beta who happened to be Ruby's father. I saw Ruby run and give her father a big hug and when I saw my father smile I just knew thats what I had to do to win his love. So I got my nanny to dress me in the most beautiful dress she could find. As I approached my father I jumped a gave him a big hug and when he turned around and instead of receiving the love I thought he was going to give me. He ended up punching me in the face and I layed there on ground tears flowing from my eyes Ruby huddled against her dad crying. As soon as I tasted the crimson red blood I knew nothing I did was ever going to win my dads affection. I wish I could say it ended there but he just kept on beating me. Then he said to me "If you ever touch me again I will end your pathetic little life. Do you understand?"
When I didn't respond he beat me more.
"I. SAID. DO. YOU. FUCKING. UNDERSTAND." With every blow I cried unable to make the words come out of my mouth.
"Alpha Jethro please your going to end up killing the poor child. Please show mercy for heaven sakes she's only eight years old." I can hear my nanny, Cicil, in the back ground as she pleaded for my life.
"Not until she tells me that she understands." He said it with so much venom laced in his voice.
After what felt like minutes went by I was able to mumble the words " I-I understand."
"Good now get out of my sight." Then that was it he walked away.
My nanny quickly hurried to me and cradled me. As I cried my heart out. She stroked my long brunette hair hushing my cries.
From that day forward I stayed clear of the Alphas presence. From that day forward it was just Cicil and I. She was like the mother I never had. She's the one who taught me how to read and write. With out my father knowing of course. Even now as I stand here in a wedding dress awaiting my fate to be betrothed to one of the neighboring packs Alphas as part of a treaty a simple trade off, a bargain. I bet this is the happiest day of my father's life he's finally able to get rid of his burden and not having to be reminded of his mate every single day of his life. He would officially be able to move on he would finally be able to forget all about his daughter although he would never acknowldge me as his daughter. And I would no longer have to feel the wrath of his beatings everytime he felt that I deserved it. Which was all the time even no matter how much I tried to avoid them. Yes the very object of my father's dimise. Anyway, I believe his name is Alpha Damien from the Blood Moon pack apparently his mate went missing four years ago with out a trace and he needs a replacement til he finds her and I guess i'm the lucky one. And then after he finds her he will discard of me like yesterday's news. A knock interupts my train of thought Cicil my nanny enters "Are you ready stella." She smiles a sad smile.
I nod my head and simply follow her to meet what fate has instore for me.

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
