The Unwanted Baby Of The Mafia Boss
Fitri Han · Ongoing · 58.6k Words
Introduction
In deep hurt and anger, I found myself despairing of life.
I went to see a friend named Damian to get an abortion pill, but through Damian, I found a reason to keep my life and this baby.
When I decided to start a new life, my damn boyfriend Dylan suddenly came back wanting to marry me and take responsibility for this baby.
The planned wedding was canceled because we discovered Dylan's true identity as a mafia member; clearly, my family wouldn't accept that. Another shocking fact I received was that behind Dylan's return, there was an intention to bring down my father.
A fight between my father and Dylan occurred, leading to my father's death, and Dylan still wanted our wedding to happen. And on our wedding day, I gave everyone a big surprise.
"Wow, a black dress. Are you cursing your own wedding?" Dylan stared at me, shocked and angry, in front of all the invited guests.
"Black is a symbol of mourning. And my father just died at the hands of his son-in-law."
Since then, I've spent my days as Dylan's wife and thot about how to get revenge.
Chapter 1
I stared at my reflection in the mirror, looking pitiful with swollen eyes from crying since yesterday after my meeting with my ex-boyfriend. I told him that I was late for my period; it's probably been three months now, and I asked my boyfriend to take responsibility before the baby in my womb gets bigger.
Unfortunately, he casually said, "Just abort it." He doesn't want to worry about it and believes that it's his child. After I pleaded, he instead yanked my hair and whispered in my ear not to make loud noises in public and embarrass him, and then our relationship ended with that damn baby still following me everywhere.
I sighed; the ringtone on the phone I had placed on the vanity indicated there was a message. The name Lily, my best friend since high school, appeared on the screen.
"Watch out, don't you dare abort it!" That short message made me emotional for no reason.
"You don't know what it's like to carry that bastard's child."
"Indeed, you fool! His love is only worth a spoonful of semen, and you love him like a madgirl." I can't accept that I love him so much, but what Lily said, I have to admit the truth.
"So do you know any abortion pills?" I immediately sent a reply to Lily without commenting on her obvious sarcasm.
"If I were your mother, I would drag you to the dark room with the big cross there. I will ask you to pray that God forgives your sins." Lily is indeed like this; we are very close; if one of us makes a mistake, we will remind each other in any way, even with harsh language or by banging our heads together to make each other realize quickly.
"Oh God, truly, I cannot bear to give birth to this baby. It seems like that's what I will mention in my prayer in that room."
"You've really gone crazy; you can even make it willingly, but you can't give birth to it. Repent quickly before you face the consequences of your actions." Lily switched to calling me, but when I heard her shouting voice blaming me, I ended up crying uncontrollably.
"Foolish, how many times have you cried? Cry tears for that damn man, let him get his karma, and you start a new life with your child." Lily really has no mercy; she even yelled at me while I was crying because I was confused about what to do with the baby I was carrying.
"Yes, I am indeed foolish; this is my fault. Even though you repeatedly said that Dylan is not a good man, I ended up dating him. He even abused me while we were dating." I heard Lily's shocked voice now. Lily never knew how my relationship with Dylan was going because I never told her. Once I tell a story, it is about the baby in my womb. Lily might have thought Dylan was a jerk for not taking responsibility, but now Lily might think Dylan is a devil.
"What did you hold onto for those 2 years?" Suddenly, I heard Lily sobbing on the other end of the phone.
"I love him," I said weakly. Now my tears have subsided, replaced by Lily's sobs mourning her friend's foolishness.
"Can I curse?"
"I gave you permission." I know I was wrong; now I accept being blamed.
"Such a foolish woman, I can't even bear to scold you. What a miserable fate for this foolish woman, Oh God." Lily snorted several times.
"Now what should I do? I don't dare to tell my father and mother. You know they will definitely be very angry?" I sincerely asked her for a solution; I couldn't possibly tell my parents that I was pregnant and the man who got me pregnant had run away, unwilling to acknowledge his child.
"It seems like there is a solution for you. Do you know Damian? Our school friend from back then? He is now an obgyn doctor; you can consult him. Until you give birth, hide, but please make sure the baby is okay. If you don't want to take care of it, let me take care of it." Lily has never disappointed me; she always helps me selflessly, and I always feel bad for her.
"You will take care of this baby for me?" I repeated to reassure.
"Not for you, but for that innocent baby." From Lily's words, I feel like I am the cruelest woman towards her child, but for now, let me be selfish and not want this baby.
"Alright, give me Damian's number. I'll contact him." I said in the end. Maybe by letting this baby live and be born, it will slightly reduce the guilt that will arise in me later.
"I have already sent it; please check my message."
"If that's the case, I'll hang up the phone." Lily agreed and ended our call. When I saw Damian's number come in, I didn't hesitate to send him a message. Damian and I are not very close; we only know each other because we are in the same class. If I were in the popular group at school, Damian would be among the quiet guys who enjoy studying, dislike being exposed, and don't want to be disturbed. Meanwhile, I am in a group that always wants attention, is noisy, and always wants to be number one.
I don't care if Damian remembers me or not; I just need his cooperation, so without hesitation, I typed a crazy message to him, "Hello Damian, do you remember me? I used to be very popular; can you spare some time to meet?"
I didn't expect Damian to reply to my message so quickly when I saw his response. "Yes, I remember. By chance, I will be going to Coffee Cafe Dinamond tomorrow. I will meet you at one in the afternoon after I finish with my client at the same place."

I lunged for the candlestick, but he caught my wrist, pinning it overhead. His knee forced my legs apart.
"When your father gave you to me," his lips brushed my ear, voice a dark rumble, "you were already mine."
