Introduction
The only thing between my body and his gaze was the veil draped over my body as I lay on the sofa.
“Why? You only need to see my eyes.” I murmured the last sentence, not wanting to offend him as he locked his icy eyes on mine, as if waiting like a ticking time bomb.
He stood, his step slow and taunting as he walked towards me. Then he lowered himself to my level, his gaze burning into mine.
“I own you now, Selena. Not just your eyes, but your body.”
He lifted his hand, and I bit my lips.
Fear.
Fear as his deadly hands, covered my eyes.
“You are my muse now, Selena.”
Everything is set to end for Selena Duvain, after she caught her boyfriend of seven years cheating on her.
Heartbroken, she had gotten drunk in a bar and was almost assaulted only to be saved by Theodore. The next day, she is offered a contract by a mysterious woman with red lipstick.
All she needed to do was work and spy on Theodore Mateo, and all her needs would be taken care of.
Reluctantly, she accepted with the condition that she work only for six months.
Theodore Mateo wasn't just a ruthless billionaire rumored to engage with the underground.
He was a maniac, who rose in blood; in secret, an artist deemed insane for his morbid obsession with eyes.
And now he found his new muse in Selena.
A contract to walk away from after six months became darker, an entanglement of secrets, betrayal, blood, jealousy, and irresistible desire.
A world she thought she knew.
Chapter 1
Selena
‘Noah Theodore’
My heart sang my boyfriend´s name as I rushed into his building, my clothes drenched from the heavy rain.
I rubbed my hands on my wet shirt to keep myself from the cold that threatened to penetrate my soul as I sprinted towards the elevator.
But it was occupied, so I waited.
Watching the lines on the elevator, I couldn’t help but recall how terrible the day had been.
I have been in the job for just three weeks. It wasn't one I was expecting, but the pay was good. I was even looking towards the monthly pay, which I have already calculated.
A huge part was supposed to go toward Josh's college fee, then the rest for moving into a new apartment closer to his school.
But who would have thought my senior manager, who has always been a dick, would suddenly get very bold towards his advancement?
He has always had his eyes on me, and I have avoided him like the plague.
Despite the unfairness others showed, I never reported to him, as I didn't want history to repeat itself.
So, I decided to be indifferent, but it didn't stop him from calling me into his office today.
“You have been avoiding me, Selena, so I’ve decided to be straightforward. I like you and want us to spend more time together, especially in the office. You don't have to work so hard with me around.”
He was flat, lying all fact with an underlying meaning to his request, and I knew a no would get me fired, but I wasn't one to be bullied, so I had to reply.
“What makes you think you are worthy enough to be in a relationship with me, Mr Clifford?”
He had looked surprised and embarrassed.
“I know there is no way for me anymore, but I would rather sleep with the higher-ups than let you. Your face could sicken me.”
His face has grown red with anger. But I didn’t care. Though I would have loved to say more to him, I left.
It wasn't easy getting such a high-paying job, and my only regret was not getting paid. I doubt my service would be acknowledged after my remark to him.
The elevator beeped, and Mrs Addison, who was sharing the floor with Noah, stepped out.
“Selena, you are here again. It must be nice for you, younger ones, to spend so much time together.”
I smiled. “It is, but I came because of the rain. I need to change before heading home, lest I get cold.”
“Sorry, dear, the world is a little messed up these days. No one can tell the weather. You should have called Noah instead of coming up.” She looked genuinely worried.
“When you get inside, remember to take a cup of coffee before heading out.”
I nodded with a smile as she tapped my back before leaving.
Inside the elevator, I couldn’t help but tap my feet because of the cold, my hands rubbing together.
Instead of feeling melancholy, I needed warmth, and the only one to provide it was Noah.
We have been dating for seven years, and no matter how the world turned its back on me, Noah has never once did. In the world, he was the only person I could lean on.
Noah was from a rich family, though he had fallen out with them, he has remained kind and patient with me.
The elevator door slid open, and I hurried out, dashing to his door and keying in the code. The door swung open with a beep, and I stepped into the warmth, feeling instant comfort.
But the warmth is replaced with confusion as I stare down at the shoes on the floor.
White heels were placed beside Noah’s brown ones, which I bought for his last birthday.
I bent down and picked up the shoes,
It wasn't mine, and it wasn't new enough to be gifted to someone. So, who does it belong to?
I closed the door gently and stepped inside fully with the shoes.
The TV was on, but Noah was nowhere. He couldn't be sleeping as he wasn't one to sleep with the TV on.
He was too organized for that.
“Noah?”
I called, but silence came. I turned to the kitchen where we have spent so many memories together, only to frown.
Two glasses of barely touched wine decorated the space.
“Don't be like that now, you can't make me all wet again only to leave suddenly.”
A female voice sounded, and my heart sank as I turned, tracing the voice to the bedroom.
The once warm house turned cold, and I felt shivers run down my spine with each step I took forward.
“Hold on for a minute, I need to go pick up my phone, then get back to filling you up,” Noah's deep voice chuckled.
And I froze as my heart sank deeper.
That was Noah. There was no denial that it was his voice. I bite inside my cheek, looking at his room door.
I should stop.
Maybe I should go back. But how can I when my heart was threatening to tear apart?
But Noah would never do such to me. He would never cheat; he wasn't that type of person.
Maybe he invited a friend who was fooling around in his bedroom.
But as I held the doorknob with the shoes in my hand, I suddenly doubted.
Why won't he cheat on me?
I’ve never done anything important for him. While others saw me as beautiful and hard-working, he has only seen the weak, pitiful part of me.
I’ve never fully given in to him, even after seven years of us being together.
And whenever we were deep in having sex, I always ended up crawling away at the sight of his member. But he understood, because he saved me that night.
He has always understood me the best.
He couldn’t have been fed up, right?
If he were, then I could give in.
As long as he wasn't the one, I would give in.
“Selena should be ending work around now. I need to call her. Give me a minute.” The bed made a sound like he was getting down.
“Why do you bother showing her you care so much, if you don't mean it?” She whined.
“Hmm, because she is pitiful. You know the feeling you have towards a homeless puppy?” He laughed, and my heart broke.

Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
A Lesson in Magic
Claimed by the Alpha's Love
Four years ago, Fiona's meticulously planned conspiracy turned me from an ordinary omega into a prisoner carrying the weight of a murder charge.
Four years later, I return to a world that has changed beyond recognition.
My best friend Fiona, who is also my stepsister, has become the perfect daughter in my mother's eyes. And my ex-boyfriend, Ethan, is about to hold a high-profile mating ceremony with her.
The love, family bonds, and reputation that I once cherished have all been taken by Fiona.
Just when I had reached my breaking point, questioning the very purpose of my existence, the legendary Alpha Lucas of Moonhaven suddenly appeared in my life.
He is powerful and enigmatic, a figure that all werewolves hold in awe.
Yet, he shows an extraordinary persistence and tenderness towards me.
Is Lucas's appearance a gift from fate, or the start of another conspiracy?
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
