Torn between The Lycan king and the Vampire lord
Favour Christian · Ongoing · 39.7k Words
Introduction
I was wrong.
The worst betrayal was being drugged, bagged, and sold to the highest bidder in a supernatural slave auction.
Now I am standing on a stage in Toronto, surrounded by monsters I did not know existed, while two of the most powerful beings in the supernatural world are tearing the room apart... fighting over me.
Cassian Vale—the ancient Vampire Lord with blood-red eyes and a frozen heart. He looks at me like he knows me, like he has been searching for me across centuries.
Kael Carson —the ruthless Lycan King with golden eyes that promise both protection and destruction. He claims I belong to him, that fate itself has bound us together.
They hate each other. They have been at war for longer than I have been alive.
But they both want me.
But what they both do not know about is my powers and to what extent it could make or break either of them.
Chapter 1
Serena’s pov
“Yes…. Yes…. Yes Ethan…..don't stop….. go on!” The sound of the moan and the ecstacy that filled the room Swift through my ear.
I had just arrived at my fiance's home to inform him of the good news that happened. After trying for two years, I finally got accepted as an intern at Victoria Fashion company
That happens to be the most famous fashion company and my dream place to work. I hadn't been so excited in years and the only person I badly wanted to share this good news with was Ethan.
But I stood there frozen in shock and my breath stopped, my chest hanging in the air. I couldn't breath even if I wanted to and I was hoping that this was either a dream or my eyes were playing parnak at me.
In the bedroom of Ethan's condo, my best friend Mara was straddling him on the couch, Her head was thrown back, dark hair spilling down her spine, and Ethan's hands were gripping her waist, fingers digging into the red fabric of her dress.
His mouth was on her throat. I watched his lips trace down to her collarbone, watched her arch into him, watched her fingers tangle in his hair the same way mine had done a thousand times.
And the sound of her voice filled the room as she kept moaning, calling out to his name in the most seductive way that I had ever seen.
The room started spinning and I was becoming dizzy not to mention that I stood for a while but none of them noticed me.
"Ethan?" My voice came out strangled as I clutched my chest trying not to choke. Hearing his name, he jerked away from her, a flicker of surprise in his eyes but not remorse.
“Serena, what are you doing here?” He asked coldly while he buttoned his pants, his gaze blank like I had not just caught him having sex with my best friend.
My gaze drifted to Mara while I was still trying to grasp the situation before me. But there was a silly smirk on her lips, as she carefully put on her dress and even while she did, she didn't avoid my gaze.
“Ethan. What is going on here?” The stupid me asks like I had not just witnessed it all, all this while I was gulping my saliva, trying not to cry.
“I am sorry Serena baby, I didn't want you to find out like this, but since you are here I guess everything can come out in the open!”
He blurted and that was when I realized my world came to an abrupt halt. How did I hit the signs, how did it date such a fool for a while two years and not realize he was this much of a jerk.
“Is this what you can say to me!”
“What do you want him to say, go on his knees and get it?” Mara scoffed with disgust in her tone and then walked over to him, her hand found its way around Ethan's chest. No doubt she was trying to piss me further.
“Come on Serena, don't look at me like that, you should know better than this both of us would never end I together”
“So you were leading me on all this while you were banging my best friend” my eyes trail to Mara again, but this time, with disgust.
“Well I gave you hints on several occasions, but you were the fool badly in love and didn't get the hint”
“Why her, you could have anyone else, why did it have to Mara?” My heart was aching but I was fighting so hard not to look weak in front of them.
I knew the response I would get would only hurt me further, yet I wanted to hear it, all of them.
“Did you really ask me that? Come on Serena baby, you can't be that dumb. Mara is the perfect woman for me and with her families wealth, my company would be at the herm soon”
His eyes were beaming with pride and I nodded my head, everything was finally making sense to me. All of this was all because of her family's wealth.
Not able to bear it any more, I turned around, about to walk out but realized the door was locked. I twisted it again but to no avail and then it occurred to me that Ethan had walked over to the door while we were speaking.
“What is going on Ethan, open the door”
“I will soon.” He mocked me and then placed kisses on Mara's face.
“Is this some kind of twisted game, open the door some can leave, that way i don't have to interrupt your steamy section”
“Sure, you will leave soon. But I have a friend who wants you. You know I am so kind and wouldn't want you to remain single”
I did y realize when I chuckled, his words sounded so funny but till that moment, I was yet to realize what was going on.
“Enough with your jokes, I am not in the mood for them, so open this door right now!!” I yelled at the top of my voice, but it didn't have any effect on him.
He returned to the couch and Mara sat on his lap. I clenched my fist, my heart was boiling with rage at how much they were making fun of me.
Just then, a knock came through the door, Ethan rushed over and as four men stormed in dressed in black leather suits and black sunglasses, that was when I realized that something was in play.
I quickly pulled out my phone, ready to call for help, but I never made it. One of the men snatched it away from me and slammed it hard on the floor.
As fear took hold of me with my heart racing frantically I immediately made a run to the door, but it was futile because two of the men in suits grabbed my arm and forced me to the ground.
“Let me go! I will have you arrested!!” I yelled out. “Help! Someone help!!” I was yelling at the top of my voice hoping that one of his neighbors would hear my voice and come to my aid.
But they didn't seem bothered by my screams, instead, the boss of the men brought out a briefcase filled with cash and handed it over to Ethan.
Was he selling me off to some drug lord!
I thought, thinking about the scenario that was playing before me, but I didn't think much of it before the men bundled my hands and feet.
Then they taped my mouth and my heart left my chest when I watched as they pulled out a bag and forced me inside.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...

The original Aria's life was a nightmare. Humiliated when golden boy Kai Matthews posted her love letter online, then shoved to death by his girlfriend Bella Morrison. But that's not all her family faces:
"You got until Monday," the tattooed gangster sneered at Aria's mother. "Ten grand cash. Or I'm taking collateral—your kids' organs fetch top dollar. That pretty daughter of yours? She could make us money another way too."
Now Angelina's lethal combat skills awaken in this fragile body. No more hiding. No more fear.
Armed with an Alpha's ruthlessness and a mysterious blood-red pendant, she'll dismantle everyone who hurt this family—one calculated move at a time.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
