Chapter 1
"I held her motionless body in my hands as I cried. It was finally over."
After reading this, I threw the book with the novel I was reading to the other side, lay down on the grass while looking at the sky, and waited for my friends to leave class as usual. Almost every day I do exactly the same thing, living in this silly city where nothing different happens even though the years go by, and I have lived here for the 19 years I have.
"I just wish something changed" I said while closing my eyes
Finally, after half an hour, my friends came out of class and joined me in the grass of that garden behind an old building of the college. We did our usual, playing cards and talking about things that had absolutely nothing to do with college, while we let the afternoon go by. Suddenly, it was getting dark again so we took our things and went to the bus stops that we had to take to go home. I crossed the street to get to my bus stop while I was looking at my bus arriving, it's a bit strange that I take it empty, but it sometimes happens anyway. I put my headphones on as I headed home and leaned my head against the window pane to feel like it was a little more dramatic than it really was.
I got off at the stop near my house, but I remembered that I had to buy something before I got home. It's already night, so I rushed to the nearest convenience store so I could buy some groceries along with some soft drinks to go home. While I was walking I felt the atmosphere a bit dense, as if there was something or someone watching me, but I turned to look everywhere and there were simply trees along the blocks that were missing to get to my apartment. I finally got to my apartment and rang the bell to announce that I was back, I went up the stairs to the second floor and when I opened the door something hit me. It only took me a couple of seconds to realize that it was my roomie waiting for me to come back home.
"I will kill you"I said while letting my backpack on the floor and picking up the pillow he just threw at me, to throw it back at him.
Just a few months ago I moved out of my parent's house, for my mental health, to live with my best friend. I had barely been 18 years old when I decided that I had to leave home, my parents really didn't take it well and since I left we haven't talked, however, I feel good about the decision I made, although now without being able to argue with my parents every day seems to repeat itself sequentially. I wake up, go to college or work and then end up back here, it seems like an endless cycle that will never end.
"What are you thinking about so much?" Joe asked me, looking curious.
"Nothing, just mulling things over, it doesn't matter," I said, lying to both of us.
"Are you okay? Do you want to watch a movie?" he asked enthusiastically.
I smiled as I watched Joe head to the kitchen to make some instant soups so we could watch some movies for a while. While we waited in the kitchen, I put my hand to my cheek and sighed. Joe turned to look at me.
"A tough day?" he asked.
"A little. University and working at the call center are slowly killing me," I said.
"You can do it, Ness. You're 19 and have a lifetime of work ahead of you. This is just the beginning."
I laughed at his words. "You talk like an old man. You're 21."
A faint memory came to mind. Ten months ago, I met Joe at the call center. We clicked instantly, and since he lived in another city and had to commute two hours a day, he decided to move here. That's when I had to leave home too. My art studies at university, along with my job, meant my routine was: Wake up - Go to university in the morning - Go to work - Get home at 2 a.m. to sleep - And so on.
Joe and her boyfriend had a fight a few months ago, so we grew even closer, as we spent time at home watching movies, eating ice cream, and occasionally telling each other scary stories.
There's one thing we always agree on, and perhaps that's why we're so close and understand each other so well. We'd both love to live a great adventure, like the ones you read about in webcomics or typical novels, that's why we decided to give it a try.
There's a forest that's supposedly haunted. Locals say people enter it and return days or even a year later, talking about things no one has ever seen, uttering nonsense, and that most have gone mad after spending several hours there. Fortunately, the locals have embraced this legend as a tourist attraction, something we're taking advantage of, as we found a cabin to stay at a pretty good price. For obvious reasons, the cabin is not exactly at the woods, but at a place that is around 15 minutes away, that it was our best shot in this place. Cheaper means more dangerous.
Joe came back with our soups and took his tablet, he started looking into something that he seems to have already saved for later before.
"Okay, listen. I've been looking for more information about the forest. Check this out: 'Rosewood Park: The Unexplained,' a bit about the legend and its context," Joe said in a sinister tone.
"Play it! Is it a long video?" I asked.
"I think it's long enough to get us to eat and become more interested in this place," he said with a smile.
"Sure, I'm in," I smiled.
"Many people have heard of RoseWood Park, but few know the true legend that surrounds it..."

Cursed To Be His
At thirteen, everything changed.
After her parents were murdered, she was cursed by a powerful witch and used as a vessel for Elder magic. Saving her life came at an impossible cost; the curse was broken, but so was the wolf inside her, leaving her human.
Ten years later, Talia hides her grief behind sharp sarcasm and a smile she no longer believes. When a rogue attack proves she can no longer protect herself, or the people she loves, she leaves the only home she's ever known for the quiet human town of Ashbourne Hollow, determined to disappear.
Instead, she catches the attention of the town's most dangerous owner.
Alaric Lazarus is a vampire who rules from the black castle overlooking Ashbourne Hollow. He is cold, enigmatic, and impossible to read, but he awakens something in Talia she can't explain. She doesn't trust him. He trusts her even less.
Then vampires begin turning up dead.
Forced into an uneasy alliance, Talia and Alaric uncover a trail that leads back to the family she lost... and the curse she thought she'd escaped. As old enemies emerge from the shadows and buried secrets come to light, Talia discovers that everything she believed about her past was a lie.
Because the curse that stole her wolf was never meant to save her.
It was meant to lead her to him.
This is book 3 in the series, but it can be read as a standalone.

Then comes Jax Miller.
Jax is a hotheaded rookie with a lightning-fast puck and a reputation for burning bridges. He doesn't follow playbooks, he doesn't respect authority, and he’s determined to melt Julian’s icy composure. When a viral video of their on-ice collision threatens to bankrupt the program, Coach Clain delivers an ultimatum that feels like a death sentence: they must live together in a cramped, two-bed dorm for the duration of the season.
Forced to navigate the high-stakes world of sports fame, "forbidden" locker-room tension, and the mysterious blackmailer who caught their first mistake on camera, Julian and Jax must decide what’s more dangerous: losing their careers, or losing themselves to the person they were supposed to hate.
BROKEN TRUST
Neither of them knew she was carrying his child.
Emily’s affair didn’t just end her marriage—it erased the life she thought was guaranteed. Ryan left without looking back, carrying his anger like armor and leaving Emily alone with regret she would never outrun. Three years later, fate drags them back into each other’s world, along with a little girl who has Ryan’s eyes and a truth that shatters everything he thought he knew.
Old wounds reopen, grief masquerades as rage, and love refuses to stay buried. As parenthood binds them together and the past demands accountability, Emily and Ryan must face the question neither of them is ready to answer: is broken trust the end of their story… or the beginning of a love forged through loss, forgiveness, and brutal honesty?
Iron And Glamour Just Don't Mix
Well… Sometimes you just might turn out to be right.
It turns out, the fae stole my little brother. In his place? A pixie with boundary issues and a talent for home repairs.
I’ve spent my life taking care of everyone else. So when my baby brother is taken, I don’t hesitate. I walk straight into a faerie mansion and make a bargain with its infuriatingly charming master.
Kie is everything you’d expect from a dangerous fae, beautiful, political, and entirely too amused by me. Power wrapped in a smirk. Sensual, mischievous, and far too aware of the effect he has on people. He agrees to help me find my brother.
For a price.
Now I’m bound by a faerie bargain and navigating a world of glamour, manipulation, and ancient rules I definitely should have learned sooner, enchanted forests, political games, magical contracts, and a fae lord who treats seduction like a perfectly reasonable negotiation tactic.
Iron is how I keep people out.
Glamour is how he draws them in.
And apparently, they just don’t mix.
