Chapter 1
"I held her motionless body in my hands as I cried. It was finally over."
After reading this, I threw the book with the novel I was reading to the other side, lay down on the grass while looking at the sky, and waited for my friends to leave class as usual. Almost every day I do exactly the same thing, living in this silly city where nothing different happens even though the years go by, and I have lived here for the 19 years I have.
I just wish something changed - I said while closing my eyes
Finally, after half an hour, my friends came out of class and joined me in the grass of that garden behind an old building of the college. We did our usual, playing cards and talking about things that had absolutely nothing to do with college, while we let the afternoon go by. Suddenly, it was getting dark again so we took our things and went to the bus stops that we had to take to go home. I crossed the street to get to my bus stop while I was looking at my bus arriving, it's a bit strange that I take it empty, but it sometimes happens anyway. I put my headphones on as I headed home and leaned my head against the window pane to feel like it was a little more dramatic than it really was.
I got off at the stop near my house, but I remembered that I had to buy something before I got home. It's already night, so I rushed to the nearest convenience store so I could buy some groceries along with some soft drinks to go home. While I was walking I felt the atmosphere a bit dense, as if there was something or someone watching me, but I turned to look everywhere and there were simply trees along the blocks that were missing to get to my apartment. I finally got to my apartment and rang the bell to announce that I was back, I went up the stairs to the second floor and when I opened the door something hit me. It only took me a couple of seconds to realize that it was my roomie waiting for me to come back home.
I will kill you - I said while letting my backpack on the floor and picking up the pillow he just threw at me, to throw it back at him.
Just a few months ago I moved out of my parent's house, for my mental health, to live with my best friend. I had barely been 18 years old when I decided that I had to leave home, my parents really didn't take it well and since I left we haven't talked, however, I feel good about the decision I made, although now without being able to argue with my parents every day seems to repeat itself sequentially. I wake up, go to college or work and then end up back here, it seems like an endless cycle that will never end.
Joe - What do you think about so much?
Ness - Nothing, I was just overthinking some things, it doesn't even matter.
Joe - Are you OK? Do you want to see a movie?
I smiled as I watched Joe head to the kitchen to make some instant soups so we could watch some movies for a while.
Stepping aside to give a little bit of context! My name is Ness, I am 19 years old, and work in a call center, that's where I met my best friend, Joseph, 10 months ago. We made an instant connection and since he lived in another city and had to travel daily 2 hours for work, he decided to move into the city, that's about the time I decided I had to leave home, as I was used to arguing with my parents and siblings. I also go to college and study Arts, so my daily routine looks like: Wake up - Goes to college morning - Goes to work - Gets home at 2 AM to sleep - And then again and again.
Joe is 21 years old, he has a very complicated relationship with his mother. He and his boyfriend had a fight a few months ago, which is why we became even closer, as we spent time at home only watching movies, eating ice cream and occasionally telling spookie stories.
There's one thing we always agree on, and perhaps that's why we're so close and understand each other so well. We'd both love to live a great adventure, like the ones you read about in webcomics or typical novels, that's why we decided to give it a try.
There's a forest that's supposedly haunted. Locals say people enter it and return days or even a year later, talking about things no one has ever seen, uttering nonsense, and that most have gone mad after spending several hours there. Fortunately, the locals have embraced this legend as a tourist attraction, something we're taking advantage of, as we found a cabin to stay at a pretty good price. For obvious reasons, the cabin is not exactly at the woods, but at a place that is around 15 minutes away, that it was our best shot in this place. Cheaper means more dangerous.
Joe came back with our soups and took his tablet, he started looking into something that he seems to have already saved for later before.
Joe - Ok, listen to me. I have been looking into more information about the woods. Hear this: "RoseWood Park: The inexplicable", a little about the legend and it's context.
Ness - Uh, play it! Is it a long video?
Joe - I think is enough for us to eat and grow more interested into this place.
Ness - Sure, I am in.
"Many people have heard of RoseWood Park, but few know the true legend that surrounds it..."

Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...

Armed with an Alpha's ruthlessness and a mysterious blood-red pendant, she'll dismantle everyone who hurt this family—one calculated move at a time.

Steamy, fierce, and full of heart, Goddess of the Underworld is a reverse harem, found-family paranormal romance where love writes the rules and keeps three realms from falling apart.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
From Substitute To Queen
Heartbroken, Sable discovered Darrell having sex with his ex in their bed, while secretly transferring hundreds of thousands to support that woman.
Even worse was overhearing Darrell laugh to his friends: "She's useful—obedient, doesn't cause trouble, handles housework, and I can fuck her whenever I need relief. She's basically a live-in maid with benefits." He made crude thrusting gestures, sending his friends into laughter.
In despair, Sable left, reclaimed her true identity, and married her childhood neighbor—Lycan King Caelan, nine years her senior and her fated mate. Now Darrell desperately tries to win her back. How will her revenge unfold?
From substitute to queen—her revenge has just begun!
Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
