Two Parts Of One [BxB]
Orion Moon · Completed · 84.2k Words
Introduction
Aaron was a sociopath. He was manipulative. He played me and I danced to his tune. I fell in love with him, I fell deep into the ploy of his plan. Furious tears ran down my cheeks as I felt my blood boil. I remained calm, I couldn't betray the rage I felt.
Chapter 1
Brian
My alarm's bothersome sound rung through my room, bouncing from wall to wall and interrupting my slumber. Without giving it much of a second thought, I grabbed my alarm and smashed it against the wall. It fell, shattering into a few dozen pieces. There goes another one. I sighed, relishing in the sweet silence. I had a horrible habit of breaking my alarm clocks. My dad was getting tired of replacing my alarm clocks every week.
I had good reasons for breaking my alarms I swear. One, although I don't remember what it was about exactly, the alarm interrupted my dream. And second, it was annoying. I grudgingly made my way out of bed, tripping on my way to the bathroom conjoined with my room.
"Tripping delivers you faster to your destination." That's what they say, I suppose or I was just an incredibly clumsy person. I got into the bathroom and took a nice, long relaxing bath.
I am not really a shower person. Now, hear me out, what if I fall and die? The members in my pack might feel a strong urge to perform sexual acts with and to my corpse. I have a really good body, it's in the top ten bodies in the entire pack. I wasn't insinuating that my pack had necrophiliacs but you'd honestly never know what horniness could do to a person.
Mates were the horniest people you'd ever meet, going at it anywhere and anytime. If mates could do it as much as they did, what else could horniness do to a person? Better safe than sorry is what I say.
I got out of the bathtub, making my way to my room. I don't use towels either because Goddess Nadia gave me and what Goddess Nadia gave me, I shall not hide.
Art is meant to be displayed and my body was the greatest piece of art I ever owned. It was beautiful, was that conceited? Probably.
'Brian, I need you to come to my office.' Our Alpha's voice boom in my head cutting off my train of thought.
Mind linking was the ability werewolves possessed that enabled them to communicate with each other through their minds. The communication was easier and free from the bounds of limit that other communications methods were under. It was both a blessing and a curse.
With years of practice, some werewolves were able to block out interference from their kins, allowing but a few to freely communicate with them. Other erewolves such as myself were considered lucky as they were born with what was termed the 'barrier'.
The barrier was sort of a sheild that acted more as a communication interference system that blocked out any unwanted communication allowing only the higher ups the ability to break through.
'Ugh, what does he want now?' I questioned myself in annoyance, purposefully ignoring the fact that he can hear what I am thinking. The Alpha annoyed me with his random summons. A conversation we had time and time again. He wouldn't stop with these impromptu summons and that irritated me.
'I heard that.'
'Oops, forgot.'
'Just come to my office, Brian.' He sighed in defeat and annoyance.
I went over to my closet and picked out my outfit which was a black and red band tshirt with black, tight skinny jeans and black and red Converses.
I then went to Alpha Ian's office. "Sup dad, Kyle." I said, greeting them.
Kyle was my dad's mate. Although, he wasn't my mom or anything like that, he was like nineteen or so.
Kyle was five foot seven with brown skin and shoulder length curly hair that he kept tied in a low hanging bun. His eyes were golden, his teeth white with a gap in between the upper teeth.
Yeah, I'm the Alpha's son, if that wasn't as clear as I think it to be. It was not fun, I will tell you that much or maybe it's that I just disliked my dad. It was nothing personal really, it was just business. pack business.
"Kyle, Brian I want you both to welcome the guests." He said, making me groan in disapproval.
"I do not feel like meeting new people, my dear father." I said, leaning against the wall opposite to Kyle. "Oh, quit your whining, my dear son. It will be worth it." He said making me glare at him. The last time he said that I almost got eaten by a bear. I honestly don't even want to elaborate on that, too traumatic in my case.
"I am not the one who invited them." I said, crossing my arms and leaning against the wall.
"Brian, they are guests, they aren't supposed to be invited." Said Kyle, amusement tugging at his tone.
"Kyle, I didn't realize that you were still here." I said, rolling my eyes. "Your presence is so irrelevant, it sometimes make you seem almost invisible."
Kyle and I were at each other's throats more often than not with us spending two thirds of the time around each other bickering. Ours was confusing. We argued as often as we breathed around each other yet I still respected him as my dad's mate and the strongest Luna I had ever met.
Kyle was strong but with Ian, he was unstoppable. He cared for me as his own, sometimes forgetting that there's merely a three year gap between us. He was way too overprotective of me if I do say so myself.
"Wow, you're sarcastic, aren't you?" He asked, crossing his arms against his chest. Ian's phone rung, interrupting our bickering.
"So, it turns out that you're going to have to greet the guests by yourself." Ian said with a brief shrug of his shoulders.
"What? Why?" I asked, starting to panic. I was never a fan of meeting new people. Having to keep up the perfect Alpha's son persona around them drained my energy and tired my soul.
"The Wild Creek pack needs our help." Ian replied, his voice cool and unbothered.
"Okay, when are you leaving?" I asked, trying my hardest to keep my cool. "In thirty minutes." Ian replied with a defeated sigh. "Thirty minutes?!" I exclaimed in shock, that was nearly not enough time to prepare myself properly.
"Gee, thanks guys for giving me so much time to mentally prep my self." I said, rolling my eyes and shaking my head.
"You have been a beta since you were fifteen, Brian." Kyle bemused with a shake of his head.
Yeah, I was young. Long story short, my uncle who had been the beta then, his wife and his daughter all died in a pack fire so I had to step in and be the beta in his place.
Being the Alpha's son meant a lot of people had way too high expectations of you and from you. Being the Alpha's son meant dead people's mess were yours for the cleaning. I was not the one who told my uncle to die and leave his burden to a fifteen year old.
My birthday is in three days though. I'll be turning eighteen and I'll finally be able to find my mate.
I can't stand Ian and Kyle, don't mistake this for jealousy.
They are the ultimate couple but come on, watching your dad sucking faces with a guy that's like your around your age is very gross.
"What if I screw up or say something stupid?" I asked, drinking my dad's long forgotten orange juice. I wasn't sure if it had long gone stale but I was too busy panicking to care.
"Knowing you, you will most likely screw up." Kyle said, his smirk as present as always. "Thanks for the motivation." I said, making him grin. "Any time." He said, his grin widening.
"Brian, but let's be honest here, you're made up of fifty percent sarcasm, twenty five percent homosexuality and twenty five percent stupidity. The likelihood of you saying something stupid is very very high." Said Ian, petting my head. I gasped offended as I glared at their backs as they went out of the office, leaving me behind with my own thoughts.

His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
