You Ruined My Life, Now Be My Girlfriend
Daniel Frank · Completed · 116.3k Words
Introduction
His lips brushed her ear, low and lethal. “But you’ll still beg to be ruined by me.”
She took his future with a single photo.
Now he wants everything from her—body, mind, control.
Mackenzie Lanka thought college would be her fresh start. New campus. New name. A shot at the internship of a lifetime. But when the dark, dangerous boy from her past reappears with a smile sharp enough to draw blood, everything unravels.
Tony “Anaga” Zacks—the ex-golden boy turned walking scandal—has one goal: make Mackenzie his. Not because he’s forgiven her, but because revenge tastes better when it’s slow… and dirty.
His deal is simple.
Pretend to be his girlfriend. Obey the rules. Don’t fall for the enemy.
But nothing about Tony is simple. Not his touch. Not his demands. And especially not the way he breaks her down with a look and sets her on fire with a single word.
Every kiss is punishment.
Every lie is layered in lust.
Every time she says no, her body says please.
As secrets bleed into obsession and the line between hate and want disappears, Mackenzie’s not sure if she’s his puppet… or his prize.
And the worst part? She might just love the pain he brings.
This isn’t a love story.
It’s a war of hearts, heat, and control.
And someone’s going to surrender naked.
You Ruined My Life, Now Be My Girlfriend—where hate fucks hard and love might not survive it.
Chapter 1
She needed to get closer.
This was Mackenzie's final line of thinking before leaving the bleachers, camera gear weighed down on her shoulders. There was no chance she'd ever obtain the photo she needed if she remained way back in the nosebleed seats.
Elbowed through crowds of students and fans, Mackenzie reminded herself that while she'd been stuck with this job, she was going to take it home.
She finally managed to score on Sonny Tenz, the lane that circled around the field during the hot game with Johnson Carb Academy. The wealthy kids were pounding Wasons College on home soil, but her school team just kept going, taking it like a champion. Honestly, Mackenzie had no clue what was actually happening on the field. If she didn't keep an eye on the scoreboard, she'd be completely lost. This assignment had been forced on her by the editor of the school paper, and while she would have much rather been shooting something meaningful, she’d already finished the important news pieces for the week. Sports events were usually left for the photographers who wanted free passes into games.
“Arizen has mono. You’re going in for him.”
That was all her editor, Doug, had said before he flung her a press badge and told her the game was on in fifteen minutes. The paper needed pictures, and, naturally, she was late.
So the awful seats.
But Mackenzie had worked under worse conditions and more pressure. She'd been properly trained. Elbowing through the tide of students and spectators, she finally ended up on the fringe of the field. The players were already in top gear, the Wasons team mixing with the orange-and-navy storm of Johnson Carb's giants. Their players were huge—broad-shouldered like pros—and with their flashy uniforms, they made Wasons look like they were playing in hand-me-downs. Mackenzie didn't mind. All she needed was the shot. That's all.
She set up her camera on the sidelines, ignoring the absence of a tripod—though it would make the shot neater.
"Hey. You!"
A man in tight striped shorts came bounding over, his hand clutched around a whistle. He blew it right in her face, making her head flinch back. He stalked across the sidelines with hot spots burning in his eyes and gestured at her.
"What do you think you're doing on my field?"
She wasn't actually on the field. Not technically. Mackenzie set her camera against her hip.
"I just need a couple of shots of the game."
"Take them from the bleachers."
"I'm press," she snarled, whipping out her badge. "I got here late too. I'll take my picture and leave. I have a deadline to meet."
She was so over it. Wasting her Friday night shooting a football game against what seemed to be combat-wearing boys was the absolute last thing she wanted to do.
The ref blew his whistle again—hard enough to make her clamp her teeth.
"I don't care if you're the President of the United States. You're on my field. Get off—now."
He was blocking her path, and she didn't move fast enough. Before she could even consider it, he was grabbing the tripod and pulling it out from the sidelines.
"What the heck do you think you're doing?" she growled.
He reached for her camera, and she moved back hastily. No way this guy was touching her dad's camera.
"Back the fuck off!"
"You will get off my field—"
He halted when someone yelled from the field. The ref turned around, and so did Mackenzie, just in time to see a Johnson Carb player coming full tilt towards them. The game hadn't stopped, yet this guy was already headed straight for the sidelines.
He was huge. The largest man Mackenzie had ever seen—and probably still not even twenty yet. All of Johnson Carb's crew looked like soldiers, but this guy? Captain America-level of intimidating.
He had the build too—broad shoulders, muscular build, leaner build but still strong. His thigh alone was bigger than hers, and she wasn't small. Size sixteen most days.
"Whaddaya want?" he growled, his voice low.
He removed his helmet, ruffling out a mess of dark curls that cascaded in waves over nearly-black, piercing eyes. His complexion was honey-colored, as if he were born that way, not some tanning-bed baby.
Why are you staring so?
Because he was staring at her.
He was. breathtaking. That much was clear. Dusky-hued irises, square jaw, straight nose—every feature of his face carved like a statue.
He stepped forward, and the ref pushed his hand into his chest.
"Get back on the field, Tony Zacks," the ref snarled, shaking the player out of whatever trance he'd been in gazing at Mackenzie.
Tony did not budge. He appeared to grow even taller somehow, puffed up and glowering at the ref. "You were going to get hands-on with that girl."
Mackenzie blinked. What the…
She stared between the two as Tony got to his feet in the ref's face. The official took a step back—a full-grown man stepping back.
"Get on the field or I'm sending you out of the game," the ref warned, whistle poised.
"I fucking dare you, bro."
The whistle blew. The ref tossed Tony out with a flick of his wrist.
Mackenzie's mouth dropped open. So did Tony's.
Next thing, three other Johnson Carb players came running towards the sidelines, leaving the game in progress. One arrived first, blond hair pouring out from under his helmet. The other two were on either side of him—one tall like Tony, the other unmistakably the biggest guy on the entire field, like a man-child on steroids.
"What's up?" the blond one said. "Anaga, where are you? Why aren't you out there?"

The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

Badass in Disguise
"Jade, I need to check your—" the nurse began.
"OUT!" I snarled with enough force that both women backed toward the door.
Once feared by Shadow Organization that drugged me to replicate my abilities into a more controllable version, I had escaped my restraints and detonated their entire facility, ready to die alongside my captors.
Instead, I woke up in a school infirmary with women arguing around me, their voices piercing my skull. My outburst froze them in shock—clearly they hadn't expected such a reaction. One woman threatened as she left, "We'll discuss this attitude when you get home."
The bitter truth? I've been reborn into the body of an overweight, weak, and supposedly dim-witted high school girl. Her life is filled with bullies and tormentors who've made her existence miserable.
But they have no idea who they're dealing with now.
I didn't survive as the world's deadliest assassin by allowing anyone to push me around. And I certainly won't start now.
Mated by Contract to the Alpha
William—my devastatingly handsome, wealthy werewolf fiancé destined to become Delta—was supposed to be mine forever. After five years together, I was ready to walk down the aisle and claim my happily ever after.
Instead, I found him with her. And their son.
Betrayed, jobless, and drowning in my father's medical bills, I hit rock bottom harder than I ever imagined possible. Just when I thought I'd lost everything, salvation came in the form of the most dangerous man I'd ever encountered.
Damien Sterling—future Alpha of the Silver Moon Shadow Pack and ruthless CEO of Sterling Group—slid a contract across his desk with predatory grace.
“Sign this, little doe, and I'll give you everything your heart desires. Wealth. Power. Revenge. But understand this—the moment you put pen to paper, you become mine. Body, soul, and everything in between.”
I should have run. Instead, I signed my name and sealed my fate.
Now I belong to the Alpha. And he's about to show me just how wild love can be.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.

"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Mr. Ryan
He came closer with a dark and hungry expression,
so close,
his hands reached for my face, and he pressed his body against mine.
His mouth took mine eagerly, a little rudely.
His tongue left me breathless.
“If you don't go with me, I'll fuck you right here.” He whispered.
