Introduction
Renault was the most powerful Alpha in Crescentia. Humans didn't belong in his world. But when Eve walked into his life, something in his wolf recognized her — so he buried it, and offered her the only thing he thought she deserved: his bed, not his name.
She said yes. She smiled. She never asked for more.
What he didn't know was that she wasn't staying for him.
She was staying for the way he looked like someone she'd lost. A boy who died for her. A ghost she loved more than any living man.
Renault was just a face that reminded her of the dead.
Until he started falling — and by then, she was already turning to leave.
And then something old and dangerous began to wake inside her. Something that made every wolf in the room go quiet. Something none of them were ready for.
He thought he was the one holding back. He didn't know she'd never chosen him either.
Chapter 1
Eve's POV
I'd been lying in Renault's bed for three hours, waiting, and the scent had soaked into my skin the way it always did when I stayed too long in this room.
Cedar and dark amber and something underneath that that had no name, something that didn't ask permission, that just settled into your lungs and stayed there like it owned the place. Like he owned the place.
Like he owned everything in it, including me.
Like a warning I kept choosing to ignore.
Obsidian Estate sat at the heart of the wolf district, deep enough in that the city noise couldn't reach it.
I had no business being there.
The werewolf upper class had a particular kind of contempt for humans that they dressed up as theology.
No wolf spirit, they said.
Incomplete soul.
As if the Moon Goddess herself had looked at the human half of the population and decided we were rough drafts.
And yet here I was, a human, one year into something unnameable with the man who was already being talked about as the frontrunner for the next Alpha King election.
If that wasn't proof that the universe had a genuinely terrible sense of humor, I didn't know what was.
I heard the car before I heard him.
Then footsteps on the stairs, unhurried, the particular rhythm I'd memorized without meaning to.
The bedroom door opened.
Renault set his jacket over the chair by the window and came toward me with the slow, deliberate movement of something that had never needed to hurry because nothing had ever outrun it.
He stopped at the edge of the bed, looking down at me with that particular expression that meant he was already deciding what he wanted.
"Four days," he said, his voice dropping lower. "Think your body still remembers me, or do I need to remind it?"
I knew what was coming.
My body knew before my brain finished the thought, and I hated how easily it happened, how the knowing moved through me like warmth before he'd even touched me.
What followed was not gentle.
He'd been gone four days and his wolf was closer to the surface than usual, the way it got when he'd been away from whatever he considered his territory for too long.
I felt it in the weight of his hands, in the way he moved, in the low sound that wasn't quite human that came out of him when I shifted under him.
When he pressed me face-down into the pillow and his mouth found the back of my neck, I knew what he was doing and I knew it wasn't going to work.
He knew it too.
That was the thing about werewolves and the marking instinct during their cycles.
The need was there regardless of whether the biology cooperated, and for humans, it never did.
No gland, no bond, no matter how hard he bit down.
I made a sound I couldn't entirely suppress and he made a rougher one in response, his grip tightening like the lack of result made him angrier rather than less.
I focused on breathing. On keeping my body loose and accommodating rather than flinching.
On giving him what he was looking for even when what he was looking for left marks that I'd be pulling my collar up to cover for the next week.
He felt me tense.
I knew he did, because his grip shifted in response, not softer, but different, more deliberate.
His mouth dragged across the back of my neck almost lazily before he pulled back just enough to speak.
"You know," he said, low and unhurried against my skin, "for someone who doesn't like it rough, you sure don't act like it."
A pause, weighted and amused.
"Honestly? You put professional escorts to shame."
I didn't say anything.
There was nothing to say that wouldn't make it worse or make me look like I cared more than I was supposed to.
So I didn't.
I just reached up, curled my fingers lightly against the side of his jaw, and kissed him.
Soft, unhurried, the kind of kiss that didn't ask for anything back.
It was easier than answering.
It was always easier than answering.
I was still catching my breath when he said it.
"Move in," Renault said.
I blinked.
"What?"
"Here." He gestured, a minimal movement that somehow indicated the entire estate. "Move your things in."
For a moment I genuinely thought I'd misheard him.
"You want me to move into Obsidian Estate."
"I want you here when I come back." He said it like it was obvious, like the logic was so clean it barely needed stating. This is the simpler solution."
I sat up slowly.
My neck ached.
I pulled the sheet up without thinking about it.
"Renault. You know I can't just do that."
"I don't see why not."
"Because I live with the Silverleaf Pack." I watched his face.
Nothing moved on it.
"You're the Alpha of Obsidian. These are not the same pack. If I move into your estate without a mark, without a contract, without any formal bond, the gossip alone would--"
Something flickered.
"Don't tell me what I should care about."
I stopped. Took a breath.
"I'm not trying to argue with you. I'm trying to explain that my family would want an explanation I don't have. Ella would be worried."
I tried to find the right word.
"I'm not marked. We don't have a contract. "
I heard how thin my own voice sounded and couldn't do anything about it.
"I don't know how to explain this to them. I genuinely don't know what I'm supposed to say."
He looked at me then, fully, the way he rarely did.
It was a look that had no warmth in it and no particular coldness either, just the flat, absolute certainty of someone who had never once wanted something and not gotten it.
"I don't care," he said, his eyes fixed on mine. "If you want me, you should be able to manage something that simple."
I opened my mouth. Closed it.
There were at least four things I wanted to say, and I swallowed all of them, because I already knew how that conversation ended.
Renault decided, and then he waited for the world to catch up.
So I pressed my lips together and stared at the ceiling and started trying to figure out, entirely on my own, how to make the impossible sound reasonable.
What was I supposed to tell Ella?
My foster mother, the Luna of Silverleaf Pack, the only person in the entire wolf world who actually cared whether I lived or died.
That was exactly why I didn't know how to say it.
That I was moving into another pack's territory, into the estate of Obsidian Pack's Alpha?
There was no version of that sentence that landed well.

A PRINCESS IN DISGUISE; BOUND TO THE ENEMY KING
I fell to my knees, the cold marble digging into my skin. I had studied for years in the flickering candlelight, memorizing every herb and poison to pass the healer's exam. I wanted freedom. I wanted to save my mother from the servant's quarters. I placed second. I thought I had won my life back.
But the King didn't give me a badge of honor. He gave me a death sentence.
"Raven Thorne shall be wed to the King of Grok," he announced, his voice echoing in the silent hall. Princess Ellie, the woman who had tormented me for years, slapped her hands over her mouth to hide her cruel laughter. She was supposed to marry the Beast. Now, I was the lamb being sent to the slaughter in her place.
They say King Liam drinks the blood of his enemies. They say he is more monster than man. And now, I have to walk into his bedroom, wearing the Princess's silk gown, and pray he doesn't tear me apart.
I looked at the King, tears streaming down my face. "I'll do it," I whispered, my voice trembling. "But my mother must be safe."
I sold my body and soul to a monster to save her. But when the carriage door opened and I finally looked into the Beast's golden eyes, I realized the terrifying truth...
He wasn't a stranger. He was the man I met in the woods.
Bella and Her Beast
.
Locked in her frozen tower, Bella dreamed of warmth, of touch, of freedom and of love. Cursed with the power of ice and snow, she’s spent her life alone. A secret they tried to protect the world from. Her only escape comes in the form of the books she reads. Stories of heat, desire, and the kind of love that could melt even her frostbitten heart.
Damien is the Beast. A dragon King with a temper forged in flame and a soul hollowed by duty. The world fears him. The people call him a monster. But beneath the scales and the rage lies a man who has never been touched by love.
When frost meets fire, the world shatters. She was never meant to leave her tower. He was never meant to find her. But destiny doesn’t bow to kings or care for cages and now the question burns through them both: Can Bella have her Beast? Or will the girl of snow melt in the heat of his desire?
.
"I’m keeping her."
"What?"
Before I can react, he scoops her up. Her small body fits easily in the cradle of his talons. For a split second, she looks startled, but not afraid. Her hand rests against one scaled finger, and she stares up at him with that same curious wonder, as though she’s already forgotten she was ever meant to fear me.
"Put her down," I try to command, panic threading through my thoughts. "You’ll hurt her."
"She’s ours," the beast insists, possessive and fierce. "Our snowflake."

Taste of Fate: The Vampire King's Human Mate
He reached for the back of my head and pulled me up just enough to reach my neck. When his fangs slid into me, the pain was instant, electric. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. My hands found his shoulders, clawing for something to hold. My legs kicked. Tears streamed down my cheeks.
He moaned against my throat as he drank, and the sound was devastating.
The Spy Who Left
"I still can't believe she actually did it. Aria Hart, filing for divorce. Who saw that coming?"

From Substitute To Queen
Heartbroken, Sable discovered Darrell having sex with his ex in their bed, while secretly transferring hundreds of thousands to support that woman.
Even worse was overhearing Darrell laugh to his friends: "She's useful—obedient, doesn't cause trouble, handles housework, and I can fuck her whenever I need relief. She's basically a live-in maid with benefits." He made crude thrusting gestures, sending his friends into laughter.
In despair, Sable left, reclaimed her true identity, and married her childhood neighbor—Lycan King Caelan, nine years her senior and her fated mate. Now Darrell desperately tries to win her back. How will her revenge unfold?
From substitute to queen—her revenge has just begun!

Pawn of the Starless God
Instead, a god found me.
One moment, I was bleeding beneath the neon glow of the city, my life slipping through my fingers. The next, a glowing blue screen appeared before my eyes, offering me a choice that was never really a choice at all.
Accept the Summoner’s Mark. Or die.
Now I belong to the Death Game — a brutal cosmic system where ordinary people are turned into Players, thrown into impossible missions, and forced to survive horrors designed for the amusement of gods.
Every trial has rules.
Every monster has a weakness.
Every victory comes with a reward.
And every reward makes me less human.
My name is Nerissa Valehart, and I refuse to be anyone’s pawn.
But surviving the Game means trusting the one man everyone warns me to fear.
Veyren Ashford is ruthless, powerful, and dangerously beautiful — a veteran Player with blood on his hands and secrets in his soul. He says attachment will get me killed. He says love is a weakness the Game always punishes.
Yet when death comes for me, Veyren is the one standing between us.
In a world where gods gamble with mortal lives, monsters hunt from the shadows, and desire may be the deadliest weakness of all, I have only one goal:
Survive long enough to cross the board.
And make the Starless God regret choosing me..............
After One Night with the Alpha
I thought I was waiting for love. Instead, I got fucked by a beast.
My world was supposed to bloom at the Moonshade Bay Full Moon Festival—champagne buzzing in my veins, a hotel room booked for Jason and me to finally cross that line after two years. I’d slipped into lacy lingerie, left the door unlocked, and lay on the bed, heart pounding with nervous excitement.
But the man who climbed into my bed wasn’t Jason.
In the pitch-black room, drowned in a heady, spicy scent that made my head spin, I felt hands—urgent, scorching—searing my skin. His thick, pulsing cock pressed against my dripping cunt, and before I could gasp, he thrust hard, tearing through my innocence with ruthless force. Pain burned, my walls clenching as I clawed at his iron shoulders, stifling sobs. Wet, slick sounds echoed with every brutal stroke, his body unrelenting until he shuddered, spilling hot and deep inside me.
"That was amazing, Jason," I managed to say.
"Who the fuck is Jason?"
My blood turned to ice. Light slashed across his face—Brad Rayne, Alpha of Moonshade Pack, a werewolf, not my boyfriend. Horror choked me as I realized what I’d done.
I ran away for my life!
But weeks later, I woke up pregnant with his heir!
They say my heterochromatic eyes mark me as a rare true mate. But I’m no wolf. I’m just Elle, a nobody from the human district, now trapped in Brad's world.
Brad’s cold gaze pins me: “You carry my blood. You’re mine.”
There is no other choice for me but to chose this cage. My body also betrays me, craving the beast who ruined me.
