Introduction
I tried for seven years to warm his heart.
I thought if I just held on a little longer, he’d finally see me.
Because I loved him so deeply.
But what did I get in return?
His endless tenderness for another woman.
I pretended I didn’t care, until pneumonia landed me in the hospital.
On the day I was discharged, I found him standing there with our daughter, his whole world focused on caring for that woman.
Even my daughter, whom I’d raised with everything I had, wished that woman was her mother.
In that moment, my heart died completely.
I left the divorce papers, gave up custody, and walked back into the chemical industry.
So what if seven years of marriage had worn me down?
I was still the top genius in my field.
But the divorce I’d wanted so badly never went through.
The man who once couldn’t have been colder to me now held on to me tighter than ever.
Our daughter refused to leave my side.
When he found my divorce papers,
the always cold and arrogant man pushed me against the wall and growled:
“Divorce? You’re mine. For life.”

Chapter 1
When Beatrice York finished the hospital discharge procedures alone, it was already dark outside.
Her phone kept buzzing with messages, mostly greetings from friends.
But there was still nothing from Arthur Capulet.
The smile on her face faded.
By the time she arrived at the villa, it was past nine in the evening.
The housekeeper Zanna was surprised to see her: "Mrs. Capulet, why were you discharged today?"
"Where are Arthur and Sloane?"
"Mr. Capulet took Sloane out. They haven't come back yet."
Beatrice handed her the luggage and went upstairs to take a shower.
After more than a week in the hospital, she smelled like disinfectant all over. Her daughter Sloane Capulet hated that smell.
She had just finished blow-drying her hair when she heard the door open downstairs. Sloane bounced up the stairs.
Sloane happily called out when she saw her: "Mom, you're back!"
Beatrice went forward to hug Sloane, but was pushed away right after a kiss: "Mom, I still have something to do."
She hadn't seen Sloane for over a week and couldn't get enough of being close to her. She really wanted to spend time chatting with her.
"Sloane, what do you need to do? Why are you in such a hurry?"
Sloane ran to her room and took out a crystal bottle filled with little stars, waving it in front of her like showing off a treasure.
"Look, I made this myself. Isn't it pretty?"
"It's beautiful. You're amazing."
Sloane tucked the crystal bottle into her pocket. "Great, then Jennifer will definitely like it. Dad and I folded all these little stars one by one." Beatrice's throat tightened. Before she could say anything, Sloane continued talking to herself: "Jennifer just got better from her illness yesterday. Dad said he wants to take Jennifer out to dinner tomorrow."
Beatrice's heart felt like someone was squeezing it. She couldn't help but ask: "Sloane, I just got discharged today. Don't you want to say something to me?"
"Jennifer is waiting downstairs and she'll get anxious. I'm going down now." Sloane quickly ran downstairs.
Beatrice stood there stunned, staring at Sloane, her legs unconsciously following her down.
Outside the villa, Jennifer Rivera nestled into Arthur's arms. Arthur was looking down saying something, his face showing an affection that Beatrice had never seen in their seven years of marriage.
Sloane ran to them and handed the crystal bottle to Jennifer like presenting a treasure. Jennifer crouched down and hugged Sloane.
Beatrice stood inside the villa watching this scene, her heart feeling like it was being stabbed with a knife.
"Mrs. Capulet, do you still want dinner?"
Zanna came over to ask. She shook her head and turned back to her room.
After more than half an hour, Arthur pushed open the door and walked in.
His face wore the coldness that Beatrice had grown used to.
"You're discharged?"
"Yes."
Arthur took out his pajamas from the closet. After years of marriage, they had always slept in separate rooms.
"Are you free tomorrow at lunch? Bring Sloane, let's have a meal together."
As Arthur was about to leave, she called out to him.
Arthur turned to look at Beatrice on the bed. After a long while, he finally said:
"Got it. Send me the address once you book it."
Arthur walked out of the room, leaving Beatrice sitting alone on the bed.
He didn't ask once how Beatrice was feeling, even though she had been hospitalized with pneumonia after getting caught in the rain delivering documents to him.
She lay in bed tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep.
She got up to get some milk and heard Sloane and Zanna's voices from downstairs.
"Mrs. Capulet just got discharged today. Aren't you happy?"
"Dad, Jennifer, and I made plans to go shopping together tomorrow. If Mom finds out, she'll definitely be mean to Jennifer again."
"Mom is no fun at all. All she does is make me do homework every day. Zanna, can I have Jennifer be my mom instead?"
"Sloane, Mrs. Capulet will be upset if she knows."
"But Dad and I both like Jennifer better."
Beatrice couldn't hear the rest clearly.
She had raised Sloane with her own hands, pouring all her heart and soul into her, never expecting to hear such words from Sloane's mouth.
Beatrice's face turned pale. She stood frozen like a statue, not moving for a long time.
Like a walking corpse, she returned to her room, opened her computer, and clicked on a chemistry equation she hadn't finished from years ago.
As if trying to find something to fill the emptiness in her heart.
She didn't know what time it was when she woke up at the desk. It was almost noon.
Remembering she had arranged to have lunch with Arthur today, she quickly washed up and started looking for Sloane.
"Zanna, have you seen Sloane?"
"Sloane was just picked up by someone Mr. Capulet arranged."
"I see."
She took out her phone and called Arthur.
It took a while for him to answer.
"I've booked the restaurant. Just bring Sloane and come over later."
The other end of the line was noisy. Arthur's flat voice came through the phone:
"Something came up at lunch. Let's do it next time."
The call ended. She looked at her phone, not surprised at all inside.
She was used to it.
In Arthur's heart, whether it was work or anything else, everything was far more important than her.
He could always cancel their planned dates just like that.
Never considering her feelings.
Was she sad?
Maybe before.
But now she only felt numb. She couldn't feel it anymore.
She walked out of the villa and looked back.
Neither Arthur nor Sloane seemed to have a place for her in their hearts.
This home seemed to have no place for her either, and didn't need her anymore.
Beatrice drove through this familiar yet strange city.
All these years, she had been trying to please Arthur and carefully teaching Sloane, but she had never really explored this city.
Without realizing it, she drove to the beach where she first met Arthur.
She was about to get out of the car when she saw Arthur, Jennifer, and Sloane walking on the beach together.
Sloane was holding Jennifer's hand and leaned over to take a sip from Jennifer's drink.
Arthur's eyes were always on Jennifer, as if she was the only person in the world.
This was what Arthur meant by "something came up."
This was the Sloane she had worked so hard to carry, give birth to, and pour her heart into.
Beatrice laughed.
They looked like the real family.
Beatrice drove back to the villa and drafted a divorce agreement.
Arthur was her childhood dream, but his eyes had never held her reflection.
If it weren't for her using a favor to force his hand, and Arthur being pressured by his grandfather, he would never have married her.
She used to think that as long as she worked hard to be a good wife and a good mother, she would eventually win him over.
But reality had slapped her hard in the face.
It was time to wake up, and time to go back.
She put the divorce agreement in an envelope and left it on the bedside table. Beatrice picked up her suitcase, got in the car, and told the driver: "To Regal City."

On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The mafia princess return
Accidentally Crossing the Tycoon
Four years ago, the Bailey family faced a devastating financial crisis.
Just when bankruptcy seemed inevitable, a mysterious benefactor emerged, offering salvation with one condition: a contract marriage.
Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
Danielle Harris is the daughter of an overprotective police chief and has led a sheltered life. As a kindergarten teacher, she's as far removed from the world of Harleys and bikers as you could get, but when she's rescued by the sexy and dangerous Austin Carver, her life is changed forever.
