Alpha Ezekiel And The MoonFire
Godwin Bernice · Ongoing · 88.9k Words
Introduction
“Don't tempt me little monster because I can burn you,” his voice was icy cold. His breath on my skin sends shivers down my spine.
“I'm not scared, big bad Alpha,” I bite my lips and lift my chin in a challenging look, ignoring the burn on my neck. “You can burn me, but believe me, you can't resist me.”
“I will kill you.” He gritted. I smirked, seeing the struggle in his eyes.
“I dare you.”
……
Ezekiel Roosevelt was cursed by the moon goddess for the sin he committed. Years later, the moon goddess sent her daughter to be Ezekiel's mate. But Ezekiel swore that he will never accept the daughter of the goddess that cursed him.
Ezekiel vows to resist her, to deny the bond that burns his soul, yet destiny doesn’t bend to hatred.
His fated mate is Dalia, the daughter of the very goddess who destroyed him. To him, she is the enemy. The goddess’s weapon. But to the prophecy, she is the key to stopping another war that's lurking in the shadows.
In a world built on lies and betrayal, love is the most dangerous weapon of all.
And when shadow meets moonlight, one will burn, and one will break.
Chapter 1
DALIA
My name is Dalia, daughter of the moon goddess. Yes my mother is none other but the famous moon goddess who is known as the creator of the werewolves. My mother sent me to meet my mate. A mate who swore to kill me once he met me. Guess what… I fucking have the best mother who doesn't mind if I die. My mother said that I was born for a purpose. I'm not like her other kids. I have a destiny to fulfil. An inevitable war is coming and it is my destiny to stop it. How do I stop it? I fucking don't know.
My mate, Ezekiel, is the Alpha King of the werewolves. He's powerful and fearless. He's the cursed lycan. Yes, my mother cursed him a hundred years ago, and that's why he hates me so much and will never accept me as his mate.
One hundred years ago, my mother told him that he will be mated to her daughter Dalia, and he will help me fulfil my destiny. He told my mother that over his dead body he will accept me as his mate. I was yet to be born then, but this big bad alpha has been looking for me for a hundred years to kill. If not for my mother hiding me far away from him, I'm sure I would be dead by now.
I still can't believe that my mother sent me to meet a man that wants me dead. According to her I will be safe. She so much believes in that mate bond of hers. When will she realize that that thing doesn't always work because if it does, why would mates reject each other or even torture each other.
Well, I'm no longer a child. I'm twenty years old. I trusted in myself and in my powers to protect myself. If the big bad alpha tries me, I will fucking whip his ass. I am Dalia, the daughter of moon goddess and no one fucks with me. My mother calls me the moonfire, because I am the light that survives darkness, and a burning power born from destiny.
Here I am, making my way to the Midnight Pack, the pack of the Alpha King. The most powerful lycan that has lived for one hundred and twenty years. Don't get me wrong, he's not a grandpa. Lycans age very slowly. Even more than werewolves. In the human world, Ezekiel looks like he's in his mid or late thirties.
I look up at the tall building still hidden in the woods. I take a deep breath.
I can't be fucking nervous…. Am I?
No, I am prepared for this. Well, I didn't choose this destiny for myself. Even if I fuck this up, no one should blame me.
I smirk, this is gonna be fun. “Here I come my fucking bad alpha.”
I'm about to make my way down his pack border when I feel something. Something dark… It is so heavy. I can feel it crawling on my skin.
Well, it looks like those assholes are clawing out slowly. The seal is slowly breaking. They are still hiding in the shadows.
Now that I'm here, hide and seek is over. It's time to fucking end this. I will send them back to hell where they belong.
In a fleeting second, the darkness vanished. They are not fools afterall… they are preparing. They are waiting for the right time to attack. Without the seal fully broken, they won't be in their full strength.
If only these werewolves and the big bad Alpha knew what was coming after them. They have been enjoying peace for a hundred years now. Well, I'm here to remind them that napping time is over. War is coming, and everyone should be on their toes.
I arrive at the Midnight Pack border. As expected, I was stopped by the wolves on guard.
“Who are you?” one of them ask ccoldly. I roll my eyes. Geez.. why is he acting like a puffed bread. I guess he should be strict and all that, but isn't he being too much?
“Nice height…” he's fucking trying to intimidate me with his height. Yeah I know that I'm 5”1, but I'm mighty. I'm not boosting, but I can easily take ten of them down at once.
“Answer the fucking question.” the other guard snaps. What is he..,, a two inch ruler? Who the fuck add him as the part of the partrol. Yeah I know that I'm short, but it's weird seeing a man that is my height. And a guard too!
“Out of the way kids, I don't have all day,” I say sarcastically. I smile, loving the rage on their faces. They are cute though, I love handsome guys. Human guys are handsome, but there is always something about wolf guys.
I notice there's only one lycan among them. A lot of Lycans died during the war one hundred years ago. And to say that only few lycans are born every century. It's hard to replace the number that died. Lycans are protectors of the wolf kingdom. And there are few Lycans living after many died in the war. If another war is to come now, without me, they don't stand a chance. I'm not boosting, but that's the prophecy. I can't change it.
“I'm here to meet my mate, Ezekiel. I've answered your question, so get out of the way.”
They look at me as if I'm a funny little thing. Of course they don't believe me. Their King is cursed, and most of them believe that he is cursed not to have a mate. He has lived for one hundred and twenty years and still hasn't found his mate. The curse is way beyond that. It is a punishment for a sin he committed years ago. I don't know the details of the story because my mother didn't tell me.
“Who sent you here?”
Yeah, I know they are doing their job, but they are fucking annoying. “Sorry guys, I don't have much time. Chit chat is over.”
I let my aura swirl around me as I gather the roots on the ground. I channel it towards them. I smirk at their shock faces…. Probably haven't seen something like this. Before they can process what is happening I've already tied them up with the roots. I tied them together. I giggle at the way they look like a huge fire ball.
I'm such a genius. This is a good way to bring peace if there is none among them. They should take a rest from work and have a good interaction.
“Who the fuck are you! Release us now!” they hollers, struggling with the roots.
“Stop struggling, it will only make it tighter. Don't worry, you guys will be free after thirty minutes…. And yes, I'm Dalia, the daughter of the moon goddess. I'm sure we will see each other more often. I will tell you about myself later.” I reply as I skip down the pathway, feeling excited. I love it when I use my power to taunt.
Big bad Alpha…. Here I come…

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
A Lesson in Magic
Claimed by the Alpha's Love
Four years ago, Fiona's meticulously planned conspiracy turned me from an ordinary omega into a prisoner carrying the weight of a murder charge.
Four years later, I return to a world that has changed beyond recognition.
My best friend Fiona, who is also my stepsister, has become the perfect daughter in my mother's eyes. And my ex-boyfriend, Ethan, is about to hold a high-profile mating ceremony with her.
The love, family bonds, and reputation that I once cherished have all been taken by Fiona.
Just when I had reached my breaking point, questioning the very purpose of my existence, the legendary Alpha Lucas of Moonhaven suddenly appeared in my life.
He is powerful and enigmatic, a figure that all werewolves hold in awe.
Yet, he shows an extraordinary persistence and tenderness towards me.
Is Lucas's appearance a gift from fate, or the start of another conspiracy?
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
The mafia princess return
Accidentally Crossing the Tycoon
Four years ago, the Bailey family faced a devastating financial crisis.
Just when bankruptcy seemed inevitable, a mysterious benefactor emerged, offering salvation with one condition: a contract marriage.
Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
