Beast Code: Fractured Echoes
Ola Tunbosun · Ongoing · 40.7k Words
Introduction
The corporations built the Beast System to create weapons. They didn't expect the weapon to think. To adapt. To father.
Now his face stares back at him from wanted notices across the archipelago, atrocities he didn't commit, strategies only he could design, bodies left in patterns that feel disturbingly familiar.
The thing inside him isn't just evolving.
It's multiplying.
And Mei's voice, bleeding through every mutation like a wound that won't close, keeps whispering the one question he can't answer …
"What happens when you stop fighting what you're becoming?"
Chapter 1
"Keep your damn line steady, Jun. If this firewall shifts another inch I'm fried." The voice crackled through the cheap earpiece, raw with panic.
Jun's fingers flew across the cracked holographic keyboard floating above his lap. Rain hammered the rusted rooftop shelter where he'd tucked himself, neon reflections bleeding across the wet metal. "Shut up and let me work, Rika. Your greedy ass dragged us into this. Corporate spirit node like this doesn't crack itself."
Sweat stung his eyes. The portable rig on his forearm pulsed hot against his skin as he fed another string of stolen access keys into the breach. Below, the megacity sprawled in layers of glowing towers and crumbling ruins. One wrong move and the system trackers would lock onto his neural signature like hungry dogs.
"They're closing in," Rika hissed. "I can see patrol drones three blocks out. You said this would take five minutes."
"It would if you hadn't skimped on the decoy protocols." Jun's voice stayed flat, almost bored, even as his heart slammed against his ribs. He rerouted a final sequence, watching the firewall's glowing lattice crack open just enough. Data streamed into his rig. "There. Transfer complete. Now wire my cut before I hang up."
A pause. Then Rika's laugh, shaky. "Always the smartest failure in the archipelago, huh? Too bad the System doesn't give a shit about brains. Says right here on your record, genetically incompatible. Weak vessel. No spirit root worth cultivating."
Jun's jaw tightened. He killed the connection without another word. That insult landed every time, no matter how many times he heard it. Twenty-four years old and still the kid who failed every cultivation trial the official centers ran. While others merged with spirit beasts and climbed the ranks, he scraped by on grey-market hacks, selling stolen corporate code to people desperate enough to risk everything.
He shoved the rig into his battered coat and stood, legs unsteady from the long session. The Wild Net's surface layer hummed around him, virtual overlays flickering across the physical streets like ghosts refusing to stay dead. His cheap neural implant buzzed with incoming alerts. Trackers. Close.
"Move," he muttered to himself, slipping into the crowd of night workers and low-level cultivators. His body felt small, breakable among the enhanced figures shoving past him. Broad shoulders glowing with faint spirit tattoos. Clawed hands. Eyes that shone too bright in the dark.
His own reflection in a puddle showed the truth: narrow frame, tired eyes, nothing special. Just Jun. The boy the System rejected.
He ducked into a narrow alley, boots splashing through oily water. Another buzz. This one different. Encrypted. Priority seal he hadn't seen in months. His pulse spiked as he opened it with a quick gesture.
[Mei.]
The message floated in clean corporate text:
[Jun. Need to speak. Old culling arena access point. Midnight. Come alone. Important.]
No greeting. No warmth. Just that professional clip she used when she wore her executive mask. He stared at it until the letters burned. Mei. His Mei, once. The girl who'd laughed at his stupid jokes during late-night hacks, who traced patterns on his palm when the world felt too heavy. Now a senior player in the machine that kept people like him at the bottom.
He still loved her. That was the worst part. The feeling hadn't died even after she walked away, citing "different paths" and corporate obligations.
"Damn it, Mei," he whispered, already turning toward the old arena district. "What game are you playing?"
The streets grew quieter as he approached the meeting spot, abandoned sectors where the corporations ran their bloody culling games for entertainment and data. Twisted spirit metal frameworks loomed overhead, remnants of arenas where failed cultivators like him were tested and discarded. His footsteps echoed too loud.
He checked the time. Two minutes early. Good. He wanted answers first.
"Jun."
The voice came from the shadows. Familiar. Cold.
He stepped forward. "Mei? You better have a real reason for dragging me…"
Lights flared. Harsh white beams pinned him from three directions. Black-armored enforcers materialized from the darkness, heavy boots ringing against cracked concrete. Their visors glowed with active targeting systems. Weapons up. No hesitation.
Jun froze, hands half-raised. "What the hell is this?"
One enforcer advanced, voice distorted through the helmet. "Subject identified. Neural pattern match confirmed. Jun, grey-market codebreaker. You are ordered into custody under Corporate Acquisition Protocol Nine."
His mind raced, already calculating exits that didn't exist. "This is a mistake. I haven't touched any high-level nodes tonight that would…"
"Save it." The lead enforcer raised a gauntleted fist. A stun baton crackled to life. "Target is non-cultivated. Low threat. Take him."
Jun backed up until his shoulders hit cold metal. His eyes darted desperately across the circle of armor. There, behind them, standing perfectly still in the shadows of a half-collapsed viewing platform.
Mei.
Her corporate suit clung to her like it was made for nights like this, hair pulled back severe, face unreadable under the flickering arena lights. She didn't move. Didn't speak. Her gaze stayed fixed somewhere past his shoulder, refusing to meet his eyes.
"Mei!" The word tore out of him, raw. "Mei, tell them this is bullshit. You called me here!"
She remained silent. One hand rested on the railing, knuckles pale.
Betrayal hit like a physical blow, twisting deep in his chest. The woman he'd carried in his heart for years stood there while armored fists closed in. No warning. No explanation.
"Wait…"
A baton slammed into his side. Electricity ripped through his nerves. His body convulsed, vision fracturing into static. He dropped to one knee, gasping.
"Mei... why?"
Another strike caught him across the back. Pain exploded. The world tilted. The last clear image burned into his mind before darkness swallowed everything: Mei, still watching. Still silent. Still refusing to look at him as the enforcers closed in for the final blow.

I Found the Babies
"When..." He growled in my ear, "When we will be getting married, I will be your only king, do you get my point? Only one queen, no misters or mistresses. Just me, just you, and yeah, our babies."
I shivered.
Alyssa Reynolds found herself in a situation, while returning home from work, and she had three choices:
Simply walk away and forget that you ever heard the sound of wailing infants.
Call the police and inform them about the innocent wails.
Follow the sounds of the wails and take the matter in your hands, deciding what to do later.
Being a kindhearted soul and a sucker for babies, she found herself choosing the third option, finding the two little lives.
Two little lives that changed her whole life, her love life included. Her life now revolved around the babies as diapers, vomit and shit seemed to surround her.
Just when she thought that now it's just her and the babies, her whole world flipped over and she found herself living under the same roof as the egotistical, obnoxious and hot-as-hell Terence Powers, the business tycoon who was not going to let the woman fend off for herself and the babies alone.

But then he meets Derek again, and all of his plans vanish in the soft, yearning flecks of gold in Derek’s green-hazel eyes. He’s drawn to Derek in a way that’s impossible to deny, and he thinks Derek feels the same way, despite the danger their relationship holds for him.
As Moonshadow's politics turn deadly, Derek and Nikolai are caught in the crossfire of a war that had started long before they were born, and their bond becomes a threat and a lifeline that neither can afford to sever.

Ruined : You will always be mine.
“Fuckkk”, I couldn’t help but scream.
“You need to learn to be obedient” he said as he kept thrusting into me. When I felt his hands on my clit my body shook.
“Asher please, it’s too much”.
“No. if I really wanted to punish you, I would give you all of me”, he said against my ears and my entire body froze. Suddenly he moved and I was standing again. This man was insane.

“No”. His voice was cold and void of any emotion.

COLD (Ruthless Player)
“Please… Nick, wait.” He pulled out, thrusted back in. “How much? Twenty thousand? Fifty? Hundred?” With every question, he thrust harder and harder. My neurons are frying with the confusing feeling in my brain. Torn between pleasure, fear, and panic. I couldn't utter a single sentence to save my life.
His cold eyes pinned me in place while he plundered my body with deep thrusts, which only added to my confusion. My dumb body mistook the mixed signals, my pussy becoming even wetter than before.
“I hope she'd paid you well, because I'm going to fuck you all night long, hard,” he growled. “Sleep, then do it all over again. I want to feel you come for me, Andrea, want to feel you squeeze my cock, milking me.
Begging for me to give you the high only I can, I'm going to fucked you until I fuck all my wife's money's worth, I want you to remember how hard I took you while you're meeting her.” I sobbed, moaned, and tried to scramble out under him.
