Introduction
For five years, I honestly believed I was the happiest woman alive.
Until today. The day I came home early and stood frozen just outside the balcony, listening to his phone call.
"What? Shuying, you're pregnant?" Tingshen's voice was laced with a raw, unbridled euphoria I had never once heard before. "I knew getting rid of Jiang Wan's baby back then was the right move."
My knuckles turned stark white as I death-gripped the ultrasound report in my hand.
Qin Shuying. My absolute worst rival. They had been sleeping together.
"Tingshen, are you sure she won't find out?" Shuying's sickeningly sweet voice drifted through the phone's speaker, piercing my eardrums. "If Jiang Wan ever realizes you were the one who killed her baby, she's going to raise hell."
"Relax." Tingshen laughed, his tone dripping with the kind of casual contempt reserved for swatting a fly. "She's so clueless. She honestly believes it was her own failing body. The stupid bitch even cried and apologized to me. She'd never in a million years suspect I drugged her."
My nails drove so brutally into my palms that they broke the skin.
"Besides, I finally got my hands on her core design drafts. Consider them a welcome gift for our baby. As for her shares in the company..." He paused, savoring his own smugness. "She's about to sign them all over to me anyway. So what if her old man built an empire? It's all dropping right into my lap."
The world tilted violently on its axis.
I was carrying his child again.
Just five minutes ago, before I overheard this monstrous phone call, I had been acting like a giddy fool, planning the perfect way to surprise him with the news.
My trembling hand drifted down to my lower stomach. My chest cracked open, a visceral, violent tearing of my own heart. The baby I had desperately longed for and mourned... chemically aborted by their own father, all to keep his mistress happy.
My sweet babies, I thought, the devastating sorrow rapidly freezing into sheer, icy rage. Mommy is going to make them pay for every drop of blood.
Chapter 1
Until today, when I came home early and overheard that phone call from outside the balcony.
"What, Sophie Tyler, you're pregnant?" William's voice carried a wild joy I'd never heard before. "See, I told you getting rid of Anne's baby back then was the right call."
My hand gripped the prenatal checkup report so tightly my knuckles turned white.
Sophie, my sworn enemy.
They'd been sleeping together.
"William, Anne won't find out, will she?" A woman's coy voice came through the phone, piercing my eardrums in muffled waves. "If she finds out you're the one who got rid of the baby, she'll definitely come after you."
"Don't worry."
William laughed, his tone as dismissive as if discussing an ant. "She's so stupid, she still thinks it's her own health problems. She even cried and apologized to me. Never suspected I drugged her."
My nails dug into my palms.
"Plus I've got her core design drafts. I'll give them to you as a gift for our baby. As for her company shares..."
He paused, his voice full of smugness. "She's about to transfer them all to me. So what if her dad built such a big company? It's all mine now anyway."
The world spun around me.
I was pregnant with his child again.
And just before hearing this call, I'd been foolishly planning to surprise him.
I touched my belly, my heart feeling torn apart. The two children I'd longed for so much had been drugged away by their own father to please another woman.
My babies, mommy will get revenge for you.
Chapter 1 Anne's view
His cheerful laughter came from the balcony again, snapping me back to reality.
This man had killed my two children with his own hands.
While I cried myself unconscious, he was celebrating with another woman.
While I thought I didn't deserve to be a mother, he was plotting how to steal the last things I had.
I took a deep breath.
No, I can't blow my cover now.
The balcony door slid open.
William came out and froze when he saw me, instinctively hiding his phone behind his back.
"Anne, how long have you been back?"
I looked at him, nausea rising in my stomach.
But I still forced myself to smile. "Just got back. Why aren't you inside?"
He relaxed imperceptibly. "Went out for a smoke."
"Why do you look so pale?" He looked down at me. "Not feeling well?"
I lowered my eyes. "I just can't accept why I've had two miscarriages in a row. I feel so awful. Why can other women get pregnant but I can't?"
I looked at him. A flash of panic crossed his face, but he quickly covered it up and pulled me into his arms.
He held me close, putting on that fake mask again. "Don't be sad, Anne. It's just not the right time yet. We'll have kids later."
His hands started wandering, sliding down my waist. "If you really want one, I can give you what you want tonight."
I stepped back, hiding the prenatal report behind me.
"What's that?" His sharp eyes caught it.
"Nothing. Work documents." I stuffed the report in a drawer. "Didn't we agree not to talk about work at home?"
He didn't press further, pulling me onto the bed and lifting my shirt.
"Baby, I miss you so much."
He pressed down on me, his hand sliding into my bra. "The night's still young, let's not waste it."
I closed my eyes.
His lips pressed against my neck, his hands roaming my body. After five years of marriage, he knew exactly where to touch me.
I wanted to push him away.
But my body wouldn't listen.
My breathing got heavier. I bit my lip to keep quiet, but he still made my whole body go weak.
His hand slid down my belly, his calloused fingertips making me tremble all over.
"You're wet." He whispered in my ear, voice husky. "Still saying you don't want it?"
I turned my head away, teeth clenched.
"Be good, let me hear you." He kissed my earlobe. "I like hearing it."
I gripped the sheets beneath me, my whole body shaking.
He sped up, pressing harder, forcing me to arch my back, almost pleading as I grabbed his arm.
"Don't..."
"Don't what?" He pressed harder, forcing out an uncontrolled moan from me. "You're already enjoying it, aren't you?"
My mind went blank, waves of pleasure washing over me, making it impossible to form complete sentences.
He flipped over and pinned me down, unbuckling his belt.
Just then, a sharp phone ringtone cut through the air.
He frowned and grabbed his phone from the floor.
The moment he saw the caller ID, his expression instantly softened.
He stood up and walked aside to answer.
"What's wrong?" His voice was impossibly gentle. "Okay, I'll be right there."
He hung up and quickly got dressed.
"Something came up at the company." He didn't even glance at me, heading straight for the door. "You go to sleep first."
The moment the door closed, I heard his footsteps fading away.
I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling.
The wetness between my legs hadn't dried yet, but he'd already rushed off to find another woman.
I felt so stupid, knowing his true nature but still falling apart under his touch.
My phone buzzed. It was the lawyer handling the share transfer.
I answered.
"Anne, the share transfer agreement you asked me to prepare is all ready. It can take effect immediately."
I sat up, my voice cold as ice. "Stop the transfer."
"What?"
"Help me find evidence of William's affair." I gripped my phone tightly. "I want him to get nothing."

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
