Willow Ashford · Ongoing · 97.5k Words
Introduction
After three years of marriage, my husband’s true love has returned. He ended our three-year marriage with his own lips. Just like that, I was ruthlessly abandoned, and everyone is laughing at my misery.
I hid the news of my pregnancy and vanished from his world completely. I thought my sacrifice would give him the happiness he wanted. I never expected that when we met again, my ex-husband would confront me with bloodshot eyes.
"Whose child is this?"
——
As for the story after I left, I heard a different version. From the moment I disappeared, my ex-husband went insane searching for me all over the world...
Chapter 1
The pregnancy test showed two lines.
Madison Cole's mind went blank.
She was pregnant?
After three years of marriage, her husband had always been cold to her, only showing enthusiasm when using protection. If she really was pregnant, could it help ease the tension between them?
Madison was both shocked and delighted, deciding to go to the hospital for confirmation.
Just then, her phone vibrated.
It was a message from an unknown number.
[Want to know why Alexander has always been so cold to you? Come here tonight at 9 PM, and I'll give you the answer.]
Below was an address and a photo. The address was the city's largest entertainment venue, and the photo showed her husband, Alexander Frost.
Madison gripped her phone tightly. Didn't Alexander say he had to work overtime today...
After thinking it over, she decided to go check it out.
The weather outside was gloomy. When she arrived at the private room, before she could even enter, mocking voices pierced her ears like needles.
"If you ask me, Savannah's the one with real skills. We all know that in Alexander's heart, Savannah matters most."
"Back then, Alexander only agreed to marry Madison because of that old agreement and the favor his dad owed. Otherwise, he would've married Savannah and had kids with her ages ago!"
The man sitting in the center wore a black shirt, collar slightly open, revealing his prominent Adam's apple and refined collarbone. His long, narrow eyes were tinged red at the corners from drinking.
He looked indescribably lazy and distinguished.
Beside him sat a young woman with a sweet face and fair skin.
Hearing this, she smiled shyly. "Don't talk nonsense. Alexander and I are ancient history."
Though she said this, her gaze kept drifting toward Alexander.
"But our Alexander hasn't moved on!"
These friends looked at the silent Alexander and continued teasing: "Alexander, now that Savannah's back, aren't you planning to rekindle things?"
The air went quiet for a moment.
Madison unconsciously clenched her dress, staring straight at that handsome man.
The man curved his lips, whistling carelessly, and gave a light laugh.
He neither confirmed nor denied it.
Madison stood there, the last trace of color draining from her lips.
Just then, someone spotted her.
"Oh my, if it isn't Mrs. Frost! Why are you standing outside instead of coming in?"
Everyone's eyes instantly turned toward her.
When Alexander saw her, his usually inscrutable dark eyes narrowed slightly.
"Madison!"
Savannah Wells quickly walked over, warmly taking Madison's hand. "It's been so long! Alexander really should have told me you were coming."
Madison subtly pulled her hand away.
Savannah paused, but her smile didn't fade. "You must be tired from the trip. Let me get you a drink."
She turned toward the bar, picked up a glass of champagne, and brought it to Madison.
"Alexander prepared all this. I don't know if it's to your taste."
Madison hesitated for a second, then reached out.
But just as her fingers were about to touch the glass, Savannah suddenly gasped.
The wine spilled all over Madison's dress, quickly spreading into a large stain.
The glass shattered on the floor.
"Oh no, I'm so sorry." Savannah apologized frantically. "Maddie, are you okay? I'm so clumsy."
She bent down to pick up the broken pieces, but before she could crouch, a strong hand gripped her wrist.
"Don't move."
The man's voice was cold and deep.
Alexander had somehow appeared, pulling Savannah back a step.
His gaze fell on Madison, who looked utterly disheveled—clothes soaked, face pale.
He frowned. "How can you be so careless?"
Madison clenched her fists tightly. In her ears, that sentence automatically translated to: Look at you, always making a mess of things, almost getting Savannah hurt.
She struggled to control her emotions.
She wanted to say that Savannah hadn't held the glass properly, but the words died on her lips.
Seeing her like this, Alexander's expression turned cold. He took off his jacket and draped it over her shoulders.
"Come on, let's get you cleaned up."
This woman, wearing so little in cold weather—was she trying to freeze herself?
Madison lowered her eyes, which had quietly reddened, stubbornly staying put.
"No need." Her throat worked. "I just remembered I have something to do. I won't interrupt your party. I'll head back now."
With that, she pulled away from Alexander's hand and ran off with her head down.
Alexander instinctively wanted to chase after her, but his friends immediately surrounded him, blocking his way.
Only after running far away did the tears finally fall.
The night wind hit her face. It had started raining outside at some point, the icy drops falling on her face, mixing with the champagne, bone-chillingly cold.
Madison walked slowly down the road without an umbrella. The rain quickly soaked through her clothes, the cold seeping in layer by layer.
Her head felt heavy, her vision blurring.
Just then, a red sports car came speeding from behind.
Splash!
Icy puddle water was kicked up high by the wheels, drenching Madison from head to toe.
The car stopped beside her, and the man inside leaned out, whistling.
"How's that? Wake you up a bit! Let me tell you, if you know what's good for you, you'll give up your place to Savannah!"
Someone else chimed in.
"Exactly! After all these years by Alexander's side, you really think you're Mrs. Frost? Using guilt to drive away Savannah so you could marry into wealth—disgusting."
The two drove off.
Madison stood there, muddy water dripping from her hair.
Cold. So cold.
She shivered all over, her vision going black. After forcing herself to take a few more steps, her legs suddenly gave out, and she collapsed heavily into the rainy night.
...
When she woke again, she was met with blinding white.
She blinked, taking a moment to realize she was in a hospital.
"You're awake?"
The doctor stood by the bed with a chart. "How do you feel? Any discomfort?"
Madison felt weak and sore all over, only saying, "I'm okay."
"You collapsed on the roadside and were brought in by a good Samaritan. The rain, combined with emotional distress, triggered acute hypoglycemia and a mild fever."
The doctor looked at the report in hand, paused, then looked up at her with a more serious expression.
"But that's not the most important thing."
Before Madison could react, the doctor's tone grew stern.
"How could you, a pregnant woman, go out in the rain like that?"
Madison's breathing stopped.

Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
