Introduction
Chapter 1
The fact that my father sold me to Alexander without my consent makes me think that my decisions are not accepted and never will be. I did not imagine a life full of slavery where you would have to do what men demand. I thought my life would be different, but I was wrong. Now I was on a plane, about to land in Los Angeles where my future husband, whom I don't know and have never seen in my life, is waiting for me.
“Passengers bound for Los Angeles please prepare for landing.”
The closer I got, the worse I felt. I took my bags the moment we landed, and went downstairs, expecting to see a fat, old, obese guy waiting for me. How nasty would Alexander have to be for him to have to resort to a purchased wife? I don't even want to imagine it. I searched the crowd for the worst man ever, wishing this was a nightmare. Dad made a mistake doing this and I will never forgive him.
"Mariela Valdez?" someone asked behind me. It was a manly, soft voice. I turned around and almost fell backwards when I saw the man in front of me, not because he was ugly or unpleasant but quite the opposite.
“Yeah?” I wanted to know. I don't think he's Alexander. Although deep down I wishes he did.
"Welcome, I'm Alexander...”
I opened my eyes in astonishment because I can't believe it, Is he Alexander? The man standing in front of me was not ugly at all, he was handsome, very handsome, manly, elegant and handsome. Is it really him? Why would he buy a wife if any woman would die to be his? However, I cannot forget that Alexander is the cause of him having to leave my country, my friends, my life and even my boyfriend. For him, for his greed.
"The guy who bought me," I snapped. Alexander sighed deeply, as if waiting for that to be my reaction.
“Mariela, it's nice to meet you.”
"I can't say the same." I crossed my arms. "Why would someone like you want to buy a wife? If you don't even know me.”
"This is not the time to talk about it, let's go home." He took my arm but I took it away immediately, however, Alexander took it again, this time with more force. So much that he hurt me. "Take your bags" he ordered two men, I suppose they are his employees.
"Let go of me, you're a savage. You don't even know how to treat a lady.” I pinched him but it was no use. Outside the air port, a brand new luxurious car was waiting for us, it was like a limousine. He opened the door and we both walked in. Inside it smelled like a new car. "I am beginning to understand why you would need a purchased wife."
“Mariela, you don't know what you're saying.”
The car started.
“I understand that you are angry but everything has an explanation.”
“You took my life” I looked into his eyes “I didn't have a chance to choose.”
“Have more respect when addressing me please. I'm being patient because we're just getting to know each other but my patience has a limit.”
"I'm not afraid of you," I snapped.
“You should. Look, Mariela, try to relax because when we get home we'll talk about all this.”
"I would never agree to be your wife, Alexander."
“OK. But you have no choice, you will be my wife and my wife you want or not. It's already written, honey, your father signed a contract with me and if you break it they'll go bankrupt. Is that what you want for your parents, to see them ruined?”
I frowned because I didn't imagine that.
What are you taking about?”
I'm talking about why you're here. Your father owes me a lot of money, so much that they would be broke.
Little by little I began to connect the dots.
“That is why I am here? To save them?”
“Something like that.”
sacrificed me
“I can't believe it.”
"That's all you need to know." You know you have no choice.
I didn't say anything else, I just kept thinking about my family and how they preferred not to lose their fortune to losing me.
•
The limo parked at a huge mansion, as expected. It was so big that I didn't know where it ended. We went downstairs, the clerk took the bags.
"Follow me," Alexander demanded. I followed him because I had no choice, I want to run away but I don't know how, maybe if I devised an escape plan it can help. I don't care about my parents, they didn't care about me. I don't want to live the rest of my life with this man. We entered the enormous mansion, its walls were cream-colored with millionaire paintings and expensive decorations. Alexander seemed to have many millions of dollars. We went to a living room, where there was a U-shaped sofa and a television of about seventy inches.
Alexander sat up and looked at me from head to toe.
“You look much better than in the photos your father showed me. You should have seen him, he seemed to show me a catalog of his best models, he was ecstatic.”
I clenched my jaw.
“What do you gain doing all this? Because I? Why not my sister who is prettier? Why not my mother even? Yours seem to be the same age.”
Alexander smirked.
"You are very beautiful daring, have they told you? Very mouthy too, you need a man to tame you and teach you manners the hard way and that will be me.”
I wanted to laugh.
"You're stoned, right?"
Alexander seemed to get angry about that that he even stood up and grabbed both of my arms in a threatening manner.
"One more word like that and I'll have to punish you."
"What can you do to me, Alexander? Just standing next to you disgusts me.”
Alexander raised an eyebrow. In the blink of an eye, I am on his shoulder.
“What are you doing?!” I kicked. He went up the stairs with me until he reached a room. There he put me down and we locked ourselves up. “What the hell is wrong with you?”
"You asked for it." He took off his jacket. Until now I realize where we are, a room full of sex toys, things for torture among others. I stood still and silent, imagining the worst.
I looked at Alexander with fear, but he just smiled.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Oops, Wrong Girl to Bully
My back hit the desk. Pain exploded through my skull.
"Girls like you don't get to dream about guys like Kai." Bella's breath was hot on my face. "You don't get to write pathetic love letters."
She shoved me again. Harder.
"Maybe if you weren't such a desperate little—"
I fell. My head cracked against the corner.
Warmth trickled down my neck. Blood.
Their laughter turned to gasps.
The door slammed.
I tried to stand. Couldn't. The room was spinning, fading to black.
Someone... please...

The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
